1 Tragic Days!

Leaves fell from the trees one after another. Teenagers chit-chatted as they laughed and walked across the street and entered the school in ordinary dresses.

Only one girl hid behind a giant tree outside the school boundary wall. As a gust of wind was tossing lightly her hair. "Did he go?"

Her friend, leaning against the tree, found a boy standing not far away. He was holding a letter. His bag hung on his left shoulder and he looked pitiful. The girl frowned. "Why are you scared of this guy?"

"Who said I was scared?" The brown girl snapped back, "I only run away as soon as he follows me everywhere with a love letter."

Her friend clicked her tongue. "That's you being scared."

The brown girl snorted. "Forget it. No use hiding like this."

After that, the two walked toward the school and walked past the boy. The latter's eyes lit as he walked over and forced the letter into the blind girl's hand. His lips parted. "Julia, please hear me."

The girl rolled her eyes and stood there with a bored look. "What is it?"

The boy got bolder after seeing that he could finally talk to his crush. He grabbed her hand, but a moment later, she waved off his hand and glared at him. "Keep your hands off."

"Sorry," the boy scratched the back of his head and continued. "Julia Sims, I have had my eyes on you since we're in school. I have watched you, loved you secretly, yearned for you….my love you for has exceeded limi-"

"Hold it." Julia pulled out a lollipop from somewhere and sucked it like a popsicle as she squinted her eyes. "Your limits?"

"Huh?" The boy thought for a while before grinning. "At least I can feel my heart bursting out of love for you."

"Blah blah blah. Boring. Get lost." Julia was about to walk away with her friend when she heard the boy's voice again.

"Then how are you going to deal with Victor?"

Julia froze. The lollipop also stopped moving around in her mouth as her body stiffened. She cursed under her breath and stabilized her emotions. Then she turned and glared at the boy. "Go f**k yourself!"

They walked a few steps toward the stairs and strolled in the people-filled corridor. The friend walking beside Julia snickered. "You really have to do something about that guy."

Julia knew what her friend was talking about, but her heart quickened for some reason. She didn't want to think about that bully of a guy anymore! She glared at her friend and refused to say another word.

"Do you think I'd stay silent if you refused to say another word?" Her friend smirked. "Who told you to bet with the great, rich, and famous Victor Bush that you'll find love before the end of the first semester? The second one has started. How are you going to deal with him? Do you really want to paint your face red and run around the entire school as a punishment?"

Julia pursed her lips. If she said she was a little afraid of facing that guy, she wasn't exaggerating. Her entire body was trembling. She didn't reply because she couldn't.

What could she say? She had done a stupid thing to prove that she wasn't a person bullied by someone. In the end, she ended up getting bullied to the extreme!

When they entered high school, Julia was the most ordinary girl, or rather, she made her look ordinary. Yet, she ended up attracting the attention of freaks. She had heard about that boy since middle school, and she was well aware of his behavior as a playboy.

So she had decided to stay as far, far away from him as possible.

But Victor didn't budge at all. He followed her almost every day to the point that she couldn't stand it anymore after a week and confronted him in front of the entire school. She foolishly thought that if she made a public scene, this guy would become frightened.

The result was opposite to her expectations. Not only did he not get angry, he even challenged her to find a guy by the end of this semester. If not, she would run around the school with her face painted red.

What could she do? The entire school was listening. She had agreed and thought she would find someone to pose as a boyfriend, but she had forgotten about it. Only now did she remember that event and wanted to hit herself.

If only she had remembered it before...

Julia looked annoyed as she said, "I think he would have forgotten about it."

"I didn't." A voice echoed in the corridor that froze everyone. Julia's lollipop fell to the ground as she glanced at the person who had just said those words. Her eyes went wide when she saw that smirk on his face.

She took a step back as a trace of fear appeared in her eyes. "I don't know what you're talking about."

"Oh?" Victor walked over and stood right in front of her. "You're the one who agreed to run across the school thrice with your face painted red." He pulled out a can of red paint as its stench permeated the corridor. "Here. I even brought you the pain. Ain't I good?"

Who's good?! Julia glared at him and shook her head fiercely. "I'm not painting my face! Not even in my dreams!"

"Really? Well then, to compensate, you have to kiss me."

Julia's eyes widened. She opened her mouth to burst out in anger but Vickor spoke first. His nose wrinkled as he stared at her face. "No, on second thought, I don't want to kiss a girl like you. You don't even dress up like a girl!"

That was true. She had a T-shirt and jeans on her body and nothing else. Her brown wavy hair opened as it came all over her face. She looked like a typical nerd.

Julia didn't know how to respond. Her facial expressions changed again and again as the muscles finally contorted. "Just shut up! What the hell is wrong with you?"

"Nothing. I just like messing with you."

"You-" Julia didn't want to deal with him anymore. She waved her hand and walked past him.

Just then, a cold and sticky liquid fell on her head. Her body froze as she opened her eyes wide in shock. "WHAT THE HELL?!"

Victor said nothing. He emptied the can filled with red paint on her head that drenched her hair, face, and body in red and walked away without glancing a second time.

"You-" Julia ran toward the man. "Come back?"

All of a sudden, the scene vanished, and Julia opened her eyes. She stared at the white, boring ceiling in front of her eyes and rubbed her face, completely annoyed.

Why the f**k did she have to dream of a past that had happened ten years ago?!

A thought flashed in her mind that made her groan. Of course, she would have this dream. After all, the same person who painted her red back then was her boss and even the youngest Alpha of the entire country, and she would meet him face to face the next morning!

She just wanted to die all over again!

Just as she covered herself with a blanket and was about to drift off to sleep, her cellphone rang. She turned it off and closed her eyes, satisfied.

Her cellphone rang again.

A frown crossed her forehead as she picked up her phone that was placed on the cabinet beside her bed. She looked at the screen with her half closed eyes, and just as she saw the name on the screen, her entire body shot up in an instant!

Her eyes widened, "Why is Boss calling me?!"

She didn't pick up though since her body trembled in fright. She continued to stare at the screen until it blanked again.

'What should I do now?' This thought continuously popped up in her head as she stared blankly. Her heartbeat rose higher and higher.

Soon after this, a text message arrived: "Bring me some clothes at the address below."

Her entire body was filled with shock when she noticed the place where he wanted her to go. It was the bar on the street next to her house! That person must have called her because of that!

A trace of fear appeared in her heart again at this thought. If she ignored it, Victor would make sure she would get a piece of his mind the next morning.

She pursed her lips and took a deep breath. She should send clothes for the sake of her job.

Julia got dressed and got some money to buy some clothes. She didn't find a designer shop for the man. Instead, she chose a few local clothes and walked over to the bar closer to her place.

As soon as she reached, she saw naked people bustling inside the glass door, scrambling to wear some clothes. Only then did she remember what day it was!

It was an eclipse! How could she forget that? It was a cursed day that arrived every month that would force all the werewolves in the community to shift and mate with their partners. Singles would suffer even more because this day would force out all their mating desires from the depths of their wolves' heart, but they can't find anyone to mate with!

So some werewolves would lock themselves in the room and wait for the entire time to end.

Of course, this didn't apply to Julia because for some reason, the eclipse didn't have any effect on her! She was a werewolf for as long as she could remember, but she still couldn't understand this even after visiting many doctors.

So the reason why Victor called her out of all people was because they were probably all busy wearing clothes. And this person was also at a bar.

It could be that Victor was thumping a hired prostitute to deal with this eclipse. Julia's entire face filled with darkness when she thought of this. This person hadn't changed at all!

She dashed inside and walked upstairs directly as if she owned the place. The man had mentioned the room number he was in earlier in the message. So she didn't even bother looking for the receptionist.

After reaching the room on the first floor, she knocked on the door with an expressionless face.

A deep voice echoed from inside, "Come in."

Julia pushed open the door and was about to throw the bag of clothes on the ground before bolting out when she saw a certain someone, standing naked in front of her eyes.

Her body froze as she stared at him. Her entire brain turned mushy seeing his naked body. She didn't think this person's body would be so alluring that she would end up freezing here in such a strange manner.

'Eh? Why is this person naked…..?' A thought flashed in her eyes, but she didn't dare to ask this in person.

"Give me the clothes and get out," Victor spoke coldly while covering up his lower body with a towel. He stared at her with his dark gaze and squinted his eyes.

Julia shivered from that gaze as she threw the bag on the ground and bolted out with a blushing face.

She patted her cheeks after walking out of the corridor safely.

'No, why am I blushing?!' She scolded herself for acting so strange at the moment. She had seen many naked men during photoshoots, so she wasn't attracted to anyone, thinking she had seen all the beauties in the world, but that man…..

Her throat went dry at the reminder of that figure.

She shook her head and patted her cheeks. She would force herself to act as if this event had never happened at all!
