Holding his gaze, she took his hand. “Yes, Sam. I’m going with you.”

He regarded her with another long and intense stare. As if he was trying to search deep within her soul to find if there were any indecision within them. He pulled her up to where he was, and she screwed her eyes shut as she felt her move to him so fast and easy like she was nothing but a doll to him.

Slowly, she opened her eyes again and realized they were both standing on the railing now.

“Don’t be scared, Zary. I’m here with you.” he whispered into her ears and her death grip on him relaxed a little.

She fixed her gaze onto him first as the winds blew at and around them. One wrong move and the both of them will fall.

Taking a deep steadying breath, Zary let herself get enthralled by his eyes. Those pair of gold-tint eyes had now somehow turned even more mesmerizing. Up close she could see what seemed like gold dust that were scattered in his irises. They were so ethereal and so unreal.
