5 Chapter 5

,,How much fuck is this.... what the hell... Hahhaha... this is crazy."

Now, as he looked through the Blueprints requiring the use of the red Crystal Antler, which he had obtained after dissecting the carcass of a two-headed deer, Nero realized a very important thing. To see information about a given item in your inventory, in this case the Crystal Antler.

Neron first had to place said item into the empty gray panel creation box. Because the Equipment function itself does not allow you to obtain detailed information about a given material or item beyond its name and rank.

At first, Nero thought that he couldn't get much information about the items, even though this concept strongly disagreed with his special skill of "Supreme Artificer".

But now that he understood how to obtain information and be able to use it. Now it was easier for him to find an adequate Scheme for a given situation and need

After all, acquiring one new material unlocks billions of Schemes in which a given material is crucial and irreplaceable.

And minimal knowledge about the material allows him to better understand how to use a given material, which allows him to shorten the time of searching for the appropriate Scheme and potential waste of the material.

The description of the Crystal Red Antler's specifications contained much more information than he had initially expected. Starting from the amount of magical energy given in numbers, endurance, through the age of the Stag and the level of development of the Antlers to the highest form that he could achieve if the Stag was alive.

This is a really large amount of information, despite many numerical descriptions of various aspects of the item.

They seemed really interesting to Nero, despite their intricate complexity. But they also allowed him to understand what the best use of antlers was at this stage of development.

The antlers belonged to a young individual, although they were quite durable. Unfortunately, this was only due to the outer covering of the antlers.

And although many patterns transformed crystal antlers into the shape of, for example, a knife. And it could be created. The durability was really very poor, due to the influence of the antlers coming from the juvenile.

This information is not immediately displayed and can be easily missed. Ultimately, the end result appears once all items are placed in the crafting slots. And the amount of information sometimes means that most of it is simply ignored. And thanks to his previous knowledge, Nero knew what the four Crystal Antlers could best be used for. (it was a two-headed deer, and a deer has two antlers, horns or whatever you call them)

Nero decided to create a spear with a rather specific head. The tip of the spear is nothing more than three antlers placed so that the antlers intertwine into a spiral sharp spike.

According to Nero, it looked more like a strange harpoon than a spear. However, this is currently his first magical item.

After all, the spear has the same ability that the two-headed deer could originally use. Unfortunately, this had its drawbacks, the mana capacity in the spear horns was quite modest. And it was only enough for two uses in 12 hours. This required the user to activate the skill verbally or actually concentrate their thoughts on activating the spear's special effect.

"Pyrokinetic Spear", simple name. It was not a legendary artifact, however, and Nero only renamed it for its original long name, "Multipointed Crystal Spear of the Two-Headed Deer." And since the spear had the ability "Pyrokinetic Strike", the name was quite justified and simple.

From the last Crystal Red Antler and one flint. Nero created a rather peculiar tinderbox.

The antler itself was worked through a gray panel to resemble a wand or simply a short stick with a sharp tip.

Grooves in the shape of small steps were made on the side edge, and the tip itself emitted flammable gas when activated. And the user had to use a flint on the previously mentioned grooves on the side of the antler to create a spark. This creates a burner that, unfortunately, has limited power. And it only allows 5 minutes of continuous flame flow. However, for a device designed to start a fire, it has sufficient power and a truly extraordinary effect for such a simple tool.

After these tools, Nero created a blanket of dry moss and lianas. So that next he would start creating more basic tools.

A stand for a pot for the fireplace created in front of the cave and the pot itself, which was unfortunately made of stone due to the unavailability of other ingredients.

And above all, a small table and chair, simple furniture, but very useful for preparing specific ingredients, when the process of finding the right recipe is too long or simply a place where you can eat a meal.

The issue of nutrition was also important, Nero currently did not have a clean water source.

He only had "big raspberries" in his possession and while looking through the diagrams he came up with an idea.

First of all, Nero found a formula for juice from the mentioned fruits, the "waste" of which are simple dried raspberries.

However, to create simple juice, his special skill required him to have a waterskin. To make it, he had to use a small amount of materials.

However, this resulted in him receiving dried fruit as his staple food and juice from large raspberries as a temporary substitute for water.

The two suns were slowly setting on the horizon, even though the view was majestic. Nero understood perfectly well that going out at night was a very bad idea for him in his current state.

So after making a makeshift door, or rather a rectangular board, which covered the entrance to the cave from the inside.

Then he lay down on his wooden mattress and covered himself with a makeshift blanket.

Nero understood perfectly well that the temperature would only drop now and it would be wiser to fall asleep as soon as possible. However, before he fell asleep he decided to see the only temporary function of the blue panel. That is, the progress of establishing a stronger connection. Which is currently less than 10%.

,,10%...Fuck...with this logic...10 days...I'll try not to die by then. And tomorrow I'll have to investigate the goblins... a camouflage would be useful."

The night was terrible, Nero woke up many times in 9 hours, because apparently that was how long the darkness lasted in this strange world.

Roars of beasts, sounds of large creatures fighting, devouring sounds and much more. These were the longest hours of Nero's life, yet he did not even think about leaving the cave before the sun rose.

However, when the first ray of sunlight slipped through the crack in the "door", Nero decided that trying to sleep any longer was futile and it was better to start preparing for hunting and gathering.

Several minutes later, Nero left the caves and, to his satisfaction, he found numerous traces of fighting and blood, unfortunately on the rocky terrain.

The mentioned area was located several meters from the cave, to be precise between Jungle and the hideout. The tracks included giant footprints, shaped like raptors or other dinosaurs. The size of the prints was huge, the size of Nero's entire arm. So the creature must have been really big.

Other marks present around the previously mentioned ones were half the size and looked more like the paw prints of a large cat.

Add to the set many traces of scratches and, most surprisingly, burns and numerous acid stains. Apparently the fighting beasts had the ability to use fire- and acid-type spells.

The burnt stains left a disgusting slime on them, although Neron wanted to collect this substance into his inventory, but for now he could not afford to even touch it without risk.

So, thinking about the reason for the monsters' disappearance, he headed towards the last place where he saw giant raspberries.

However, someone, or rather something, had arrived earlier with a similar plan to obtain food in a less risky way. A group of four goblins were currently occupying the raspberry bushes, and two of them were eagerly picking raspberries into leather bags while the other two were standing behind them, intently watching for threats.

Now having a better view of the first humanoid monsters. Nero could not hide his fascination with these creatures. Their size, specifically the two guards, was comparable to the size of 12-year-old children. About 1.5 meters tall, their arms were unhealthily thin, their skin was green and their faces seemed quite peculiar.

The shape of the skull, if it were to be comparable to a geometric figure, would definitely be a rhombus. Their faces seem compressed and the top of the head seems slightly pointed and the chin sticks out, it doesn't look terrible, but it gives them a rather distinctive look. The mouth is similar to that of a human, only the protruding fangs give it a beastly appearance. The eyes of one of them are yellow and the other are gray, but the common thing is that the whites of their eyes are light yellow.

And certainly the most intriguing detail is the fact that the two remaining goblins, the one currently picking raspberries. These are two females and, honestly, they are the perfect confirmation that women are the beautiful sex. Even among humanoid monsters.

The silhouette of Goblin females is much nicer to the eye, they have much more meat in key places, so their figure does not resemble an emaciated boy, but rather a short, scantily clad woman. However, their faces, although a bit nicer to the eye, are still not suitable for modeling.

When it comes to the equipment of two goblins guarding two collectors, it's nothing out of the ordinary. Two stone spears and a loincloth, and in the case of the two foragers, they had nothing but a loincloth and a bag.

Nero developed theories based on this fact. After all, the group he had seen earlier was much larger in numbers. And their equipment was much more suitable for such dangerous areas.

So previously it must have been a scouting party looking for food and probably found the area safe enough to now send a small group of foragers here to obtain resources.

"Now, how to kill you?" he thought, tightening his grip on his spear.
