The next morning she opened her eyes deceleratedly but swiftly shut them back, the light from the window almost blinded her, tears tardily came out of her eyes, it felt as if being prodding by needles.
She unsteadily sat up on the bed, before forcing her eyes open but much slower this time around. The familiar view reassured her, she sighed relieved but the pair of eyes glaring at her sending chills down her spine.
She smile weirdly sinking back into the bed, she immediately went under the duvet.
"You..!!!" Mrs Anderson gritted her teeth before grabbing the padded quilt off her.
She wore a casual wear, her short hair looking smooth and attractive not excluding her lush eyebrows and shapely lips, Layla was an exceptionally beautiful and gorgeous woman she has this shining tendency. But right at that moment Layla disapprobation and agitation exceeded Jennie's expectations.
Jennie growled as she looked flustered and her head was throbbing with pains, nonetheless she wanted to find a crack in the ground and hide, her last recollection was everything getting hazy and blurry before loosing consciousness, she deceleratedly sat up and blinked innocently mouthing "Mom.."
Layla stared at her sternly, she was virtually fuming with annoyance what if she was taken advantage of by some bad guys, to say nothing of the recent kidnapping, what would have happened if she wasn't found by that good intended classmate, therefore she cast aside her previous emotions.
She looked vexed, she instinctively stayed until Jennie woke up so she could scold her, However she couldn't be too hard on her, mainly because of that she said "How could you've been so wasted, even if that young-blood's still burning hot you have to tread carefully, if wasn't for the boy who knows what might have happened, I'm not against you keeping friends but getting wasted is intolerable and I'm solely letting this slide because it's unlike you"
Jennie kept looking at her fingers feeling embarrassed and regretful, she said "I'm sorry mom, wouldn't occured anymore"
" Don't give me that look I'm informing your dad" she threatened earnestly.
After speaking she attempted to walk out since she achieved the aim she came for that is talking senses into her daughter which she already did, it doesn't matter if Jennie replied but she knew what she said will be thought over by her.
But before she could take two steps she heard her somber voice, honestly she felt bad. She doesn't like scolding Jennie, she isn't that type of Mom "Mom it's just... I'm sorry, I was so unbridled that I failed to reduce my intake, I was just too excited"
"Mn" Layla said glancing at Jennie who was still on the bed, Layla previous annoyance had dissipated with no traces left, she smiled and continues "But that isn't stopping me from informing your dad"
Jennie blinked purely yet again looking all groggy and said with certainty "Mom ain't no snitch, moreover I trust you wouldn't"
Mrs Anderson glared at her and said "says? Tell you, You see back at high school this mom was labeled an alert because I just couldn't see and buried it inside of me instead I let it out"
Jennie wasn't buying any of it, at least Layla once told her she was the most secretive of her friends, infact she once said she confessed her love to Mr Anderson because he was too handsome that she couldn't sleep at night.
"Anyway, honey I prepared an hangover soup, come downstairs for it I know you must be feeling some pains"
"Alright mom" Jennie said bitting her fingers but something flashed to her thus she quickly asked "Before you go who helped me home last night"
Layla who was already at the door shut back the door and slowly turned to face Jennie and said with ascertain unwilling to answer Jennie "Ugh! A boy Yeah! A boy"
Jennie looked curious suddenly, the will to know who helped her back enveloped her, she asked with great interest "Description!, alot of boys out there, a betell will do" Jennie whined
"Come downstairs after freshing up, you stinks. I might as well spare you few details" Mrs Anderson said and exit the room.
"Got it" Jennie blared loud enough to be heard by Mrs Anderson.
