A pleasant new start(Part 5) - Chapter 2

Sora's POV:

The moment I woke up, I found myself lying on my bed. 

I don't usually sleep, which is why I assumed that all of those things must've been another lucid dream. However, after observing my surroundings for a few seconds, I noticed some clothing lying on the ground and blood spilled on the bed.

"It wasn't…. A dream…." I said to myself in disbelief, a smile of hope forming on my face.

A real girl had teleported into this dimension!

But where did she go?

Did she try to escape? 

"...."

Well, there is nowhere you can escape from here.

"..."

Wondering where she could've gone, I stood up and looked outside the window. And luckily, I noticed the pink-haired girl who was running around the edges of this land.

She seemed to be in distress, which is why I quickly decided to wear my clothes and go after her before she would fall into the void.

I ran for a few minutes before I carefully approached her. She seemed to be sitting on the edge of the land.

"That girl…" I said to myself.

And she didn't seem to have noticed me yet.

What is she trying to do?

And after slowly and carefully getting closer to her, I heard her first question. I thought she had noticed my presence, which is why I decided to come closer and answer her.

"W-where am I?" 

"This is nowhere." I calmly replied.

"Heh?" 

However, the moment she heard my voice, her face became pale before she turned around and saw me with a terrified look.

"Noo! G-get away from m-me!!" She started freaking out as she was on the edge, barely standing on land.

Is she going to jump? 

No, I wouldn't want her to do that. If she does that, then I'll be alone once again here.

"You'll regret it if you jump into the abyss." I said to her with a smile on my face.

"W-what do you m-mean?" 

Her voice was trembling as she asked me, uncertain of what I was talking about.

"What do I mean?" I tilted my head in confusion at her dumb question. "If you fall from here, you'll continue falling into an endless abyss, forever." 

She looked at me with a terrified expression before glancing at her back and seeing the bottomless void.

"So let's not do any—"

She was so afraid of me at that moment that, for a moment, she forgot that she was standing at the edge of the cliff. However, before she could realize her situation, her leg slipped and she lost her balance.

"KYAAAAAAAAAAA!!!" 

I knew this would happen, so I immediately rushed towards her and grabbed her before it was too late.

She was hanging tightly on my hand, her eyes shut tightly before she opened them and realized that I was holding her. Her eyes widened in surprise and fear as she looked at me, holding her life in my hand.

"Haaaa…. Haaaa… haaa, Haaa. You have to be more careful next time." I said as I carefully pulled her up.

Both of us seemed to be panting from this sudden, terrifying experience. And once I confirmed that her body was fully on land, I laid her next to me as we both looked at the dead sky. 

After a few moments of calming down, I suddenly heard her sobbing.

"hic, p-please l-let me go home….hic!!" 

Tears were rolling down her face as she begged me to go home.

Even the way she cried was really cute. But I feel really bad now that she is crying…. 

Rather than crying, I would like to make her feel comfortable here….

"Even if I wanted…. I can't…" I said to her as we were both in the same position.

".....hic….."

She seemed completely hopeless while trying to figure out how and why she was here. It simply didn't make sense to her. The sky. The void. This whole mansion. And me raping her….

"....W-Why? Hic,... *sniff*" She asked as she struggled to speak from the way she cried.

There were a few more seconds of her crying before, while still laying on the grass, I turned my head to the side and responded to her:

"Because… we are trapped in the inescapable land."1
