1 Chair Room

Houston was known for having heavy traffic, yet for some reason, the streets around The Fate Hotel were deserted. The exterior carpet of the hotel was coated in dust and what seemed to be mud, and its windows were filthy and damaged. I initially assumed it was abandoned because there were no lights on and it was late at night, but as soon as I entered, the hairs on the back of my body sprang up. It was chilly inside, the interior design was spooky, the walls were covered in spider webs, the paint was peeling off the walls, the furniture appeared to be extremely old and soiled, and there was a mystery crimson liquid on it. In the center stood 2 people that seemed to be working as receptionists.

"Please excuse me, but could you two get my hotel room ready? I was asked to spend the night in this hotel, but I don't know where my room is located."

"This platinum elite card, which gives you access to every room in the hotel, was required of us to give you. We hope you enjoy your visit, but please be mindful that noises go through the walls."

Finding the elevator proved to be a challenge, so I moved toward the now-dark reception counter where the two gorgeous, identical, females had been seated moments earlier. My mind was filled with confusion, they were both standing here before I turned away. Now, where are they? I eventually found the rickety, rusted-out elevator after what felt like an age; I was astonished it even worked. Two wrinkled, elderly hands opened the elevator door just as it was about to close. My heart began to race because I assumed the person might be terrifying or perhaps a murderer. But there were only two elderly grandmas.

"Excuse me, do you mind clicking the 5th-floor button for us?"

"Ah, yes of course."

I glanced at the hotel card as I made my way to the fifth floor since I couldn't help but be fascinated. The rooms that were posted there were pretty strange and rather dubious. Despite the fact that one of the rooms caught my eye and was referred to on the card as the "chair room," it was really a room where guests could rent chairs to sleep on.

The "chair room" had its own level, and I observed that the button for it was just next to the elevator's floor. It had a little pin image of a red chair on it, but it was filthy and rusty as if it had never been cleaned. This time, I decided to press the chair button since my curiosity overcame me. As the grandmothers left, a bunch of teens entered the elevator. After pressing the button, it dropped as if the elevator wires had been severed. As the elevator continued to descend, we began to float. The elevator's lights burst, enveloping us in darkness and only cries. We were all petrified that we would perish.

We abruptly stopped when the elevator door opened. A doorway and a wall were located on the elevator's opposite side. We all felt like there was something horrible in the room, and I wanted to go back into the elevator to leave, but as I turned around, the elevator had become a wall, trapping us all within.
"How did the elevator change into a wall, what is going on? We just got off the elevator, and here we are stuck in a room?" Using a tense voice tone to avoid seeming either too loud or too quiet, a pallid guy who appeared to be my age said. Everyone else seemed to be around my age and appeared terrified. But as the door in the middle of the wall opened and a message protruded from it, it seemed we didn't have time to panic.

"Dear Players,

We extend a warm welcome to everyone in the world of gaming. You could be wondering why you are standing in the midst of a space that doesn't appear to have any doors or exits. This is a straightforward game of hide and seek with a unique twist. Everyone enjoys a good twist, right? The rules are rather simple and clear: if you are discovered 10 times, you are murdered. Don't worry; we'll make sure you don't feel any pain when you're being slaughtered slowly. You could be wondering, "Why kill?" Well, if it doesn't end in bloody tears, it's not much fun. Nobody loves playing games that have no purpose, yet you can all win this one. This game can be finished in under ten minutes.

You won't be the one searching; you're twin will be the one discovering you. About this time, they ought to be leaving through the door! They resemble you exactly, don't they? Given that they share your mentality, I suppose it is another twist in the game. However, that makes concealment difficult, so good luck to everyone. Don't pass away too soon. More still awaits you all.

Wish you all the best.

Game Organization.

*Room*

Our twin was in front of the six of us, but it appeared that I didn't have one. Was my twin may be hiding? No, I should be the one hiding, not seeking. However, I didn't have much time to reflect. I dashed for the door as they each began counting down to locate an area; it was enormous in size. It really had clean flooring and more costly goods laying around than the hotel did. Beyond all the splendor, something attracted my attention—it was a figure in motion on the second floor.
The marble steps were increasingly slick as I climbed them, but I persisted because I wanted to check whether anybody was moving on the second floor. A hand pushed me into a white wooden door that was the only one that had been unlocked when I approached it, shutting the door behind me. The only thing illuminating any of the room was a little gas lamp. The individual identity was revealed by a lamb.
As I approached him, the light from the lamb illuminated more of his tan skin, which was gleaming. With puffy black hair and dark brown eyes, he reminded me of myself. Even our faces shared the same birthmark. I was astounded at how much he resembled me, but I wondered why my twin was older than I was. The other twins' age was the same as theirs, but mine wasn't. On the sofa that appeared to be across from him, I sat down. I saw a black notepad on his right thigh and a white pen in his palms. He stared at me with his deep brown eyes as he began writing on the black sketch board. after finishing his work on it, he turned his notebook to face me.
"Due to voice loss, I am unable to talk, but I came to give you some advice and caution that should be able to assist you. Before I vanish like the other twins, I just have a few minutes left to communicate a few things to you. The other twins are crazy, but I should be able to protect you to some extent. Try not to panic and shout since the others could hear you."
"Ah, I see. Please tell me more about it." I was trying not to sound scared, but he must have noticed because we are the same and he is older than me.
*Scribble, Scribble*
"Sebastian Although it might sound a little odd, this is a different world that strong individuals constructed. They choose those they are confident would best emulate them. The mail letter you got was carefully arranged, and the other recipients were also sent invitations. By that time, everything is monitored and under their control, but they are unable to see or hear us in this chamber since we are hidden from view.
They told me fate couldn't be changed and that I would end up the same; I wanted to show them wrong, so I requested for time to be turned backward, but I wanted my younger self to do it with a little assistance from my future self. So pay attention to what I say."
"I hope you paid attention because it appears that the game is over. Bye"
He had changed into little more than powder as I exited the room and observed everything from above. Due to all the running, they had been doing, the other players were worn out, perspired, and in some cases, blood was even dripping from their feet. Additionally, I saw a door open below, though I couldn't see what it was doing from the top floor. Everyone appeared to be looking at me as I proceeded to descend the steps. They appeared to be upset with me, but I couldn't determine why from their emotions.
As I passed them and moved toward the door, I shrugged it off. It appeared that the six of us had survived the first game because the rest of them followed me. However, I questioned what the second game would entail. A market store suddenly emerged in front of us as everyone's expressions altered as the dazzling light appeared to dim. However, the door was locked. We were still ensnared in a different game.
