I Want To Tell It To The World
"Don't you remember mina" he shook his head, "No, I don't"
"She is Miranda's daughter"
"Oh, now I remember"
"She is coming to the Philippines"
"What does that have to do with me?" he asked coldly.
"She is coming back because of you. I think I should arrange a date for you and her"
"I am not interested"
"What! Why!"
"I am not just interested"
"But..."
"Good night mom" he immediately stood up and walked up stairs.
His mom could not understand why he said he was not interested. Is he not interested in woman or in her?
Mrs Torres wanted her son to get married to mina; not because she was her friend's daughter but because of who she is.
Chad entered his room and took a hot shower. After taking his bath, he crawled to his bed. He closed his eyes but he couldn't sleep. Lying on his bed sleepless, he took out a photo from his cabinet. A girl wore an ach coloured shirt with a blue jean and a black long boot. She had a hat on her head. She wore a beautiful smile on her face.
She might be a mere worker but she is special to him. She is just unique.
Chad was from a well-to-do family. The Torres family is the fourth wealthiest family in the country. They had a sugar cane farm and a shoe making company.
He took out his phone and dialed a familiar number.
"Hello"
"Why are you calling me so late this night?"
"I just miss you" he spoke in a low, soft voice.
"But we were together a while ago"
"I want you beside me now" his voice was soft and demanding
"I have an idea" a broad smile appeared on his face
"What is it?"
"Why don't you come to my place tonight"
"..."
"Or I come to your place"
"Have you gone mad? What will our parents do if they find out about your silly plan"
"Then let's go to the hill and spend a night there"
"..." she don't know what was going on in his head
"What do you think?"
"No way! I won't go any where with you!" she was furious
"Hahaha, you fell into my trap again"
"What! What kind of boyfriend are you?"
"A boyfriend that loves you with all his heart and will die for you if I have to"
She began to blush. She was really the luckiest girl in this world. She had Chad who loved her so much and he will do everything to make her happy.
"What did you say your surprise is for me?"
"Secret. You will see it tomorrow"
"Okay, good night"
"Good night" the call ended and finally Chad was able to sleep
Next morning.
When Rachel woke up, her mother had already left the house. Probably to the farm. Her mother had always been the one taking good care of her after her father ran away with another woman. He was sending money to her mother to take care of her, but after a year, they never heard anything about her father. He also stopped sending money to them too. Since then, her mother had been the one taking good care of her.
She quickly dressed up for school. She found some food on the table, she knew her mother cooked it so she began to eat. After eating her breakfast, Johanna immediately rushed in.
"Rachel some one is waiting for you outside"
"Huh? Who is that?" she was not expecting anybody this morning
"Just come" Johanna said and immediately dragged Rachel out. When she saw the person, she was stunned. She was not expecting his to come that morning.
"What are you doing here?" she asked.
"Taking you to school" Chad said with a smile on his face.
"Wow. He did not even forget to take you to school. I want a boyfriend that will treat me the way Chad does" Johanna said with a hint of jealousy in her voice.
"Why don't you date Josh. I heard from the girls he has dated that he is caring, romantic and...."
"Never! He is ugly. Even if he is very caring, romantic. I will still not date him" Johanna shouted angrily
"But isn't that what you wanted. A caring, romantic and rich person" Rachel smiled
"And mostly, he must love you with all his heart, right? So I think Josh is the person" she added
"Screw you! Yuck, he is ugly! No! Never! Not him! I will rather die than marry him! She shouted angrily.
"Enough of your drama now. Can we please leave now?" Chad said with seriousness on his face
"You go first, I will take a cab to school" Johanna said and turned to leave, but Rachel grabbed her hand and pulled her back.
"What! What is the use of the car then? You are going with me"
"Seriously...but Chad will kill me if I follow you guys. I don't want to disturb you two"
"No, he won't" she said and looked at Chad who later smiled at her.
"My chad is not as evil as you think"
"If you say so"
Rachel flicked her head hard, "Silly"
The three hopped into the car and 'voom' the car drove off.
At San Jose national high school.
The jaguar XE stopped at the entrance of the school. Chad opened the door for Rachel and she came out. He walked her to the entrance of the school.
"Be a good girl, okay"
"Yes master"
"Very good" he gently patted her head.
"Isn't that Chad?"
"Yes, he is"
"He is so handsome"
"And why is he with Rachel? Is she not just a mere worker that works on his family's farm"
Chad's eyes narrowed and his face darkened when he heard that. He wanted to go to them but Rachel grabbed him by his arm and smiled.
"I think she forced herself on him. He should be with someone of his status not her"
All of a sudden his eyebrow curled against each other, and his eyes widened with grief. He wanted to go to those idiotic gossipers and slap them on the face but Rachel stopped him and shook her head. He understood what she meant.
He couldn't do anything because she stopped him. He wanted to shout it to the world:"I Love Rachel. She is my girlfriend" but he couldn't. His family won't accept her because she is just a poor, mere worker.
Rachel saw his pale face. She knew he was very angry. Shooking his hand, she said, "Hey, are you still thinking about what they said? I guess they have not fallen in love yet that's why they know nothing about true love" she smiled
He looked at her with sadness in his eyes, "Rachel, I am sorry"
"Sorry? For what?
"I can fight for you. I want to tell it to the world how much I love you but..."
"Shhhh.... You didn't do anything. It's just a matter of time. Maybe now is not right time for the world to know about our relationship" she held his face in her palm and said so.
"If they pick a fight with you, just tell me"
"So are you trying to say I am weak" she said pretending to be angry.
"No, I don't just want you to get into any fight. I don't want you to get hurt" his face was calm, his voice was soft.
"Okay, I won't" she said when she saw how serious he was.
"Oh, the two lover birds are still here" Johanna came out of no where and interrupted them.
"We have class. Good bye Mr Chad" she smiled and drag Rachel into the school. Chad watched Rachel leave and then, he turned and left in the jaguar XE
At carpeDiem Torres.
"Do you think you are here to play? What are we paying you for? You all are bunch of idiots!" Mrs Torres yelled
"We are sorry ma'am" the employees bow their head not wanting to look at Mrs Torres angry face.
Mrs Torres is known for her aggressive behavior. She is hot tempered and yell at everybody when she is angry.
"Now get the hell out of here" fury overcame her. They immediately ran out of the office.
The door opened again...
"Didn't I tell you to get out? I don't want to see you. Your face disgust me" she said angrily
"Aunt, you should calm down"
