Liam's eyes began to water "Valerie, you and I both know why he's calling for me, so you should know that you're the only one that can help me in this situation"

Valerie sighed "Did you do anything wrong? Except you did, I don't see any reason why you should be scared of him calling you"

Liam eye twitched

'Why acting as if you don't know? You and the boss seem to be in a romantic relationship but I can't say anything for the love of my life even though I'm dying to know the details!'

Valerie turned to him with a lazy expression "Fine, I'll see what I can do" and before Liam could hug her or do anything else, she walked away to the top floor.

She gently pushed the door open and walked in to find Aiden gently seated on his chair, smiling at her.

He knew why she was here with that expression on her face, but he didn't say a word. She didn't really like it whenever he reads her mind, so as tempting as he wanted to, he held himself from spouting whatever she had in mind.
