Chapter Forty One: Fiance?!
Aiden stared at Magnus in surprise "Why?"
"Are you nuts?! You're still asking me why, as if you don't know? She's a human, brother! A human! And you are a vampire! A prince at that! You shouldn't be mingling with people other than your species!"
"Since when do you decide who we should or should not mingle with?"
"I'm not deciding anything, I'm just trying to be cautious. It's not safe and it's dangerous if you get too attached to that girl"
"Brother, stop it!"
"Enough!" Bayne thundered and stood up from Gaia's bed.
He was the second eldest, but he was well respected as a result of the way he carried himself. He glanced at Aiden
"Let me ask you something Aiden"
Aiden didn't reply, but stared at him and he continued "How would you feel if you wake up one morning, to find out that your little human is no more?"
