89 9/7/23 Update

Hi, everyone.

It's been over a year since I last dropped or even gave anyone an update. That's because during that time, I had mostly lost interest not only in writing this story, but story writing in general. Luckily, it was mostly temporary.

For now, I'd like to say thank you to everyone who decided to pick up this novel. Whether or not you enjoy it is completely up to you, but I thank you for taking the time to read.

I have written about 15 additional, unreleased chapters so far in my absence. It isn't a lot, but something is better than nothing, I suppose. I've also cut down the word count to about 1000 per chapter and have tried cutting down on excessive detail.

Please do not expect anything to release very soon, but I'd like to give you all a quick announcement for the future of Trap Academy:

During the month of June, I went back through all the chapters and rewrote a few things here and there to tighten up the writing ever so slightly, plus I made some adjustments that are better suited for the readers and better for my own comfort.

I eventually plan on re-releasing all of these updated older chapters in a separate novel before continuing the story from there.

I will continue writing Trap Academy in the background until I wrap up the conclusion of this arc. If I were releasing hard copies, this would be the final act of the first novel.

Once I complete this arc, I will then I will go on to release the first 10 or so chapters of the story all at once in that new novel before releasing every chapter after that daily until the end of this particular arc. After that, I hope to continue releasing a chapter at least 1 to 3 times a week. This is mostly to not only obtain new readers, but also refresh older readers' memories of the story with tweaks. I mean, it's been almost 2 years since some of you have probably read the first chapter.
