67 Chapter 64

He could have kept going for a few more hours, but he doubted that the girls could do the same, as they had both passed out just seconds prior.

Looking at the two tired beauties sleeping away Ekko couldn't help but let out a gentle smile before snapping his fingers, automatically cleaning the girls of any sweat or fluids they had accumulated or gotten on themselves.

He then teleported them back to his room and straight to bed.

He would join them in a minute but first, he needed to clean the whole hotsprings of their mess.

{20 minutes later}

After cleaning the hotsprings Ekko went back to the living room to grab cerbie but by the time he got there the little guy was already fast asleep, and so was Eris.

Seeing a dog and a catian sleeping together so peacefully, Ekko thought it was cute and took a photo of the two.

He then approached Eris and was about to wake her up, but on second thought decided not to, but instead pick her up including cerbie and take her to his room.

There have been a few incidents where Eris has sneaked into his room to take a nap and after what happened just a few hours ago, he didn't see a problem with it now.

Getting to his room he layed Eris down in-between, Cana and Rangiku and gently put cerbie on own the doggy bed he had bought for him.

" Let's look through those chests before I head off to bed." Ekko said as he summoned the chests from his inventory and gently placed them down.

He wondered which one he should open first but before long curiosity got the better of him and so he decided to open his mother's chest. He first detached the lock before slowly opening the lid.

And finally, the contents were revealed...well it was more accurate to say content as there was only one singular item inside...a piece of paper.

Ekko picked up the paper with a raised brow and read its contents, it was actually coordinates for somewhere.

" Could it be that whatever mum had left for me is in this location...I'll have to check it out later." Ekko thought as he put the paper back in the chest and de-summoned it.

Then he checked his father's chest, though this time he wasn't disappointed as there were actual items inside, and also a note.

Picking up a note he read the content{ To be worn by the future Dragon of the west and the protector of Yakushi, from a father to his son!}

Ekko read the note and all the details it contained about the items inside, and the more he read the more impressed he became.

Just as Ekko was reading through the finer details of the item, his phone suddenly buzzed indicating a massage. He put down the paper for just a second to read the message, it was from an unknown number but it read...

[ Preparations are complete Odin-Sama, everyone is ready and there is only a need for your confirmation.]

Ekko looked at the message for a few seconds before replying.

[ We will begin in 48 hours...] Ekko responded before Putting his phone away. He looked at the Items in the chest and couldn't help but smirk in appreciation.

" Looks like I'll be using your gift sooner rather than later dad, or did you perhaps already see this happening."

Ekko then teleported the chest back into his inventory and decided to finally head to bed.

Ekko took off his top only leaving him in shorts and squeezed himself in-between Cana and Eris, but since it wasn't comfortable he teleported Eris to his chest.

From the times she's slept in his room she's always ended up laying on his chest so he just did what inevitably would happen.

Ekko stroked Eris's Head and as he did so Eris subconsciously pured as she snuggled more closely to his chest.

'Cute!!'

And with those final thoughts, Ekko dozed off to the land of dreams.

{2 days Later: Yakushi Radio Tower}

{Time: 11 o'clock at night}

The night's in Yakushi were relatively warm, the wind was blowing softly and a lot of the animals were fast asleep resting for the morning to come.

But tonight things were different, because on this night all the dark forces in Japan would have heard of a new up-and-coming power.

At the top of Yakushi's tallest structure, stood a human figure. He was standing on the tip of the tower while overlooking the entire town, he could see everything that was happening.

From the cats that walked around aimlessly to the townspeople that were celebrating throughout the streets.

The goddess festival was right around the corner and so the normally peaceful town wasn't as peaceful, there were bright lights, people cheering in the streets, and fireworks being set off every couple of minutes.

If this was how the Yakushi was before the festival, he wondered how things would really look like when it was the real day of the festival.

Ekko couldn't wait.

The person who was standing on the Radio tower was of course Ekko, but he looked...different.

That was because the Ekko that had mercilessly beaten and tortured those gangsters a few weeks prior had made his reappearance.

He had warned them, but what did they do with that warning of his, send an assassin to kill him? Of course, that would have never worked and Ekko didn't even see the assassin as a problem, but more of a bug.

Though if you let enough flies enter your home, doesn't it just invite other flies to enter as well, then before you know it you have an infestation.

So tonight Ekko would make good on his promise.

Yakushi was his territory, his home, and the home of his new friends, and anyone that tries to put that in jeopardy will receive no mercy from him.

A sudden gust of wind blew past out of nowhere and in a blink of an eye, four figures appeared behind Ekko while in a Kneeling position.

"We hope you are in Good health Odin-Sama!!"

The four new mysterious subordinates said in respect. Ekko Didn't say anything for a good thirty seconds, before replying.

" Neon, you will be in charge of keeping prying eyes away." Ekko said in a jarring voice that distorted whether he was male or female.

"HAI!!" Neon Responded.

" Inari Your good with stealth so take your men and hit every safehouse I've marked on the map, show them no Mercy!!!!

" As you wish Odin Sama!!" Inari with the fox max said in a quiet tone.

" Blade, you are on clean up, make sure there isn't a trace of us left behind, besides our insignia." Ekko said as his right arm lifted and from thin air, a matt black grim reaper scythe appeared.

" It shall be done without fault Odin-Sama" Blade replied with the utmost respect.

" And finally Ghost, you're In charge of the distraction." Ekko said.

"...." Ghost didn't reply but bowed his head even lower.

"Now then...shall we begin the hunt gentleman, HAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!"

Ekko laughed menacingly as he turned to his subordinates. All four leaders who were Kneeling froze as they felt chills all over their bodies and unconsciously started to quiver.

Looking into Ekko's eerily bright White globes, they couldn't help but feel a little sympathetic for their leader's enemie.

With nothing else needing to be said Ekko bent down and with a burst of power disappear from the Radio tower.

He was so fast that not even his subordinates had time to react.

It was like he just teleported, but that wasn't the case as that was just Ekko's casual speed while not holding back as much.

Seeing their leader had set off, Neon, Inari, blade, and ghost were quick to react and immediately disappeared from the Radio tower.

Tonight would certainly be a night to remember.
