Hearing Wendy's words, all eyes diverted to her as they waited for her to speak.
"I heard that the final grading activity that will happen in the other half of the last semester, is an island test"
When everyone heard that, every single one of them cocked their head in confusion as they literally had no idea on what an island test at all. In fact even the crown prince doesnt know at all, despite his reputation and status, he was kept in the dark by the principal and professor themselves. On the other hand Wendy acquire such knowledge without much effort.
"Where did you hear this?" Asked by the Cedric
"Oh i heard it from a professor who couldn't hold back anything back from me... What can i say, im pretty charming after all"
"So Its not just a rumor, but an actual information? What else did he say?" Asked by Shun
"Nothing much, thats all, any further information is already considered confidential"
"Oh! It would've been good if we know everything about that Island test"
"Yes..."
As everyone became silent once more, Shun pondered for a bit on what this island test is all about. Based on Earth's definition, the island test is a test that is used to assess the ability of people to think and solve problems. The basic idea of the test is to isolate an individual on a small island where food and other resources are limited. The researchers then observe how the people manages to survive on the island, and to see whether it can figure out how to get its own food and water, how long it spends trying before giving up, and how it uses the available resources to survive.
An island test, is a type of test that checks ones cognitive ability. It checks how well you can think logically and quickly. The test is usually given to people who volunteered for such a crucial test of human limit and capability.
On the side note, an island test, also known as an island effect, can be dangerous to humans if it refers to the phenomenon where pollutants or toxins become concentrated on an island due to limited dispersal. This can lead to increased health risks for inhabitants due to exposure to higher levels of pollutants. However, the extent of danger would depend on factors such as the type and concentration of pollutants, the duration of exposure, and the susceptibility of individuals.
So its has its own pros and cons that goes with it.
"Well looks like this will be a test on how long we can survive on an island, based on what i know, that is what most likely to happen" said by Shun
"Your right! I hope i do well in this island test" said by Sephiria
"I hope we all do well" added by Aria
In that moment as they were pondering about such things, Millia then inserted herself into the conversation as she asked Cedric.
"Hey! Senior crown prince..."
"Cedric is fine"
"Senior crown prince..."
"... I give up"
"I just want to ask, how does politics work?"
When Cedric heard that question, he then tilted his head for a moment as he asked.
"Why's the sudden curiosity?"
"Well nothing much, its just that since im the heir of my family, my father said that i should do my best to learn politics, after all politics is what makes this country function properly, and as a noble we have the responsibility to use this politics for the betterment of the people.

Hearing their talk, everyone then listened intently as they too have a responsibility to accomplish once they graduated from the Academy. Once they got their own diploma, all the heirs of the household would have no choice but to succeed their predecessors in terms of reputation and achievement in order to be accepted by the people of the kingdom and the only way they could acquire such things is through politics. All in all the kingdom is a meritocracy kingdom.
