Yoshino

We're all the same. No one really remembers the day he was born. We all have to trust another's word on the matter. It doesn't matter if it's true or not. Just having a birthday makes one happy I think.

Today as usual Kazuya went to school with the siblings, Kotori and Shido. During the past week, he didn't stop training. He also bought cooking mastery from the system for 100k SP.

But that's okay since he still has many points he gathered from the video he uploaded. The next thing he bought with his remaining points is Martial Arts Mastery at Grandmaster level.

That cost him 15 million SP, leaving him with only 4.9 million points. With that, he mastered all martial arts like karate, boxing, wushu, etc.

Kazuya was currently in the classroom. He noticed that ever since he arrives, there are no spacequake so he got bored.

But today is different, while he was in the classroom the spacequake alarm sounded off. The teacher quickly has the students evacuate.

But Kazuya sneaked out of the school. The teacher didn't see him as he was fast, normal people's eyes can't see him at full speed.

Kazuya arrived where the spacequake appeared. He looked around the area to see what 'spirit' came.

'Is it 'Princess' or some other' Kazuya thought while he looked around. After a moment he soon found who it is.

He saw a little girl wearing a weird green bunny jacket which is called 'astral dress'. He immediately recognized her, 'Yoshino? So it's the 'Hermit' huh'

Just when he was about to approach her several women wearing some high-tech-looking equipment appeared floating in the sky. Kazuya hid behind some ruins.

AST or Anti Spirit Team, a team made to battle 'spirits'. Immediately the AST started firing at Yoshino. Yoshino immediately escaped from the AST.

Seeing that Kazuya smiled wryly, 'What an unreasonable group. Firing immediately sigh*'

The AST followed Yoshino, while Kazuya also followed while using buildings as cover. While following them, he noticed Origami isn't with the AST.

'Maybe she took a break since with her personality she wouldn't be absent to attack a 'spirit' Kazuya thought

After a few minutes, the AST lost track of Yoshino. But Kazuya didn't, he followed Yoshino.

While the AST gave up and went back to their headquarters. Honestly, Kazuya was quite dumbfounded that they gave up easily.

He couldn't help but think, 'Honestly, the AST is quite useless, they easily gave up chasing a 'spirit'. Why would the government sponsor such a useless organization? They just destroyed more buildings in the process.' He sighed and shook his head.

Anyway, it's not his problem so he just followed Yoshino. As he entered the building where Yoshino is, he noticed a plushie machine with a bunny plushie inside.

He walked towards her silently, when he bought the martial arts mastery it also included walking with minimal noise.

When he arrived near her, he noticed Yoshino looking at the bunny plushie inside the machine.

'She looks quite adorable' But he remembered that although Yoshino is physically 14 she is much older than him.

"Do you want it?" Kazuya asked

Yoshino was surprised as she didn't notice that a person appeared behind her. It's like he suddenly appeared beside her.

"Huh? Big brother, how did you get here? Who are you?"

Though Yoshino was the one speaking, the puppet in her hand was the one moving its mouth. The puppet's name is Yoshinon, a persona Yoshino created.

For Yoshino, Yoshinon was a hero to her. He was confident and brave unlike her who has a shy personality.

Kazuya smiled, "Me? I'm Kinoshita Kazuya, you can call me Kazuya. I just saw you so I approached. So? what are you doing here?"

Yoshinon flinched and Yoshinon moved to answer, "Yoshino just escaped from some people trying to hurt her. And Yoshino is a 'spirit' you know?"

He smiled kindly, "Oh so you're a 'spirit', huh, I already heard about them but I didn't think I would meet one like you" In a way what he said could be true since he watched the anime but it is his first time seeing a 'spirit' in real life.

Yoshino was surprised, Yoshinon answered again, "Huh? Does big brother know what a 'spirit' is? You're not scared of Yoshino?"

"Why would I be scared, and yes I vaguely know what a 'spirit' is as a matter of fact I have 'spirit' friends."

"Really?"

"Of course, and besides you wouldn't hurt me right? Why would I be scared"

"Of course Yoshino wouldn't hurt Big brother"

Kazuya smiled thinking is a kind girl.

"Hey Yoshino, can you show me your ability?" He asked put out of curiosity, he got the chance he should strike it right?

Yoshino was surprised again. She then shouted, "Zadkiel!"

A huge looking huge-looking rabbit beast with sharp teeth appeared. It has light gray color with some green linings on it's body.

Kazuya stared at it, 'It's quite scary actually. I mean what the hell, why would you put sharp teeth on a cute creature like a rabbit and make it big'

While looking at it Kazuya commented, "It's quite cool, I wish I had a pet like that"

"You think it's cool too Big brother?"

As Yoshino has a child mentality she was happy getting praised. But suddenly the AST appeared again and started firing missiles.

Kazuya was startled and cursed, "The hell, this AST is can't they see a civilian is inside"

"Big brother bye-bye. Maybe, we can see each other again" After that Yoshino left with the AST following her.

Kazuya smiled gently, "She left to lure away the AST huh? What a kind girl she is."

He stared at the bunny plushie and took it. He plans on giving it to Yoshino the next time they met.

After that, he went home and prepared dinner. But unexpectedly he heard the doorbell ring door opened the door and saw Kotori.
