Chizuru was at the door, she saw Kazuya's leaving figure. She doesn't know but somehow she felt some complicated feelings.

Shaking her head, she entered the house. She walked towards the living room where she saw her grandparents sitting on the sofa.

"You should quickly get him or else you will be left behind. You should know in the future he would have many wives, because of the law right?" Her granda said.

5 years ago there was a pandemic that only affected males. Many died which dwindled the population of males. As a solution, the government made a new law stating that males could take multiple wives.

Though the law applies to the kids born after the law was established and that were already born, more specifically those age 20 years and below, when the law was implemented, meaning Kazuya was also in a range of that law because he was 13 at that time.

(AN: Just go along with this BS reason of mine.)

Katsuhito looked at his granddaughter in silence. He knows her granddaughter should be developing feelings for that boy. Maybe it is just a small no but over time her feelings would grow.

"W-what are you saying, Grandpa!" Chizuru's face became beet red as she was flustered. Then she suddenly remembered that figure of Kazuya who saved her from thugs.

It is a dream of girls to be saved by a prince after all and she too dreamed of that. When Kazuya saved her that dream of hers was fulfilled.

But due to embarrassment, she ran upstairs.

"She gets embarrassed easily" Sayuri chuckled seeing her granddaughter running in embarrassment.

"hahaha, she's just like her mother." Katsuhito laughed boisterously.

Meanwhile, Kazuya already arrived home. He directly went to the living room. He was wearing new clothes which were given to him by Chizuru's grandparents.

When he arrived at the living room, there is already his father there. His mother is preparing the food on the dining table.

"Oh, Kazuya where did you go? And what's with the bandages, did you get in a fight?" Kazuo Kinoshita stared at his son in wonder. The past week his average-looking son transformed into a handsome young man now.

It bewildered him and his wife but couldn't explain it so they just ignored it. And now Kazuya came home but with bandages.

"Ah this wounds, well I saved a girl from the thugs just earlier," Kazuya replied

"Hm? Is that true?" Kazuo stared at his son to confirm whether it is true or not. Kazuya sighed and took out his phone, then he showed a picture of him with Chizuru which he took just before leaving.

"Here she is, I just came back from eating dinner there so I won't be eating with you dad, mom"

Kazuo stared at the picture in surprise. He was wondering whether his son can get this girl as his girlfriend.

"She's very beautiful, how old is she?" Kazuo commented while waiting for a reaction from his son.

"Yeah she's beautiful, I know. And she's 18 same age as me" Kazuya replied with before, he went upstairs to his room. Tonight he plans on learning about this world more since his strength is already at an acceptable level.

He searched the internet for various information since even though his soul merges with the former Kazuya not all memories were given to him.

Things like some tidbits of histories, sh*t like those. After he was done he was quite....well shocked.

During his search, he also stumbled upon the law and what happened 5 years ago. But there are many things like mangas, music, etc that are not in this world.

An example of it is the manga one piece was not in this world. And along with many things.

On the way to the arcade, a young man can be seen walking. He has a handsome face, his hair was colored brown with brown eyes to pair.

He wore a simple orange T-shirt with a logo of some kind. It was paired with simple black colored jeans and shoes.

The young man arrived at the arcade in minutes. He then entered and was greeted by people looking at him in admiration, envy, etc. The people were whispering about him.

He was about to go play some games when a petite girl approached him. The petite girl with silver long hair (or light blue) tied in twintails. She wears a dark blue button-down vest with side straps, over a tank top, a dark blue skirt with two yellow lines, and sneakers.

"Let's play a game," She said with a grin.

Kazuya stared at the girl before realizing who she is. Hatenko Meru, widely known as the Hatenko (Tiger that Breaks the Heavens) or the Right Hand of the Dragon Slayer in the academy, a young gaming otaku, as well as a powerful fighter who is reputed to be able to challenge the Dragons of Nangokuren High School.

But he wasn't sure about the timeline or whether she is known as that now. He contemplated for a bit before agreeing.

They played a fighting game, Street Fighter. They fought fiercely as both were skilled in games. But ultimately Kazuya won by a slight margin.

He then stood up and saw Meru pouting. He couldn't help but chuckle.

"Your good, what's your name? Ah by the way I'm Kazuya Kinoshita, just call me Kazuya" He extended his hand towards Meru.

"Meru, that's my name. Your gaming skills are excellent" She praised as she shook his hands.

"Well, will you play some more?" Kazuya asked

"I want to try the crane game" She replied before rushing towards a crane game. She played with it but didn't get anything.

Kazuya tried it and got a prize, he then gave it to a pouting Meru. "Here take it"

"Thank you"

Currently, Kazuya was with Meru sitting at the park. They talk about things, Kazuya learned that Meru is gonna be a second year at Nangokuren.

So he will be her senpai at the school. Meru was very cheerful as she said things. How she loves games and plays 20 hours a day. She even uploads her game plays on her site, Kami Taisen.

"And I will be a god of the gaming world" She proclaimed

"Ahaha what an interesting dream you have" Kazuya laughed out loud after hearing her dream. It was a simple, unique yet quite a hard dream she got.
