Decision and Farewell

Kazuya's remaining time in this world is done. He only has a day now before being forcefully sent back to his world. Things happened during his time.

One of which is he learned through all the technology in Ratatoskr due to the help of those 4 enlightenment pills he bought for 80 DC. He even got copies of some movies here.

Kazuya also had some jewels he requested as his salary instead of money. He plans to sell those back in his world. He also upgraded some features of his CR Unit, Dark Knight.

Kazuya also mastered completely his breathing technique and it increased his ki capacity. He trained in his ki control too. All in all his time was productive here.

Today is an important day for Kazuya as today Kurumi will tell him her decision. He is currently waiting for her in a nearby forest.

Soon footsteps were heard, then he saw Kurumi walking towards him. She is smiling towards him and walks at a steady pace.

Kazuya smiled back but inside he was anxious, "So...what's your decision?"

"I..." She pauses for a bit and stared at Kazuya. She can sense his anxiousness and felt sweet inside as this confirms he wants her to go with him.

"....decided to go with you" She smiled beautifully.

It took Kazuya a few seconds to register what she said, "Really?! Yes," He excitedly said. He couldn't believe she agreed.

He calmed down after a few minutes. He took a deep breath and look directly into her eyes. And then he said in seriousness, "Kurumi...I know I only met you a few weeks back but...I cherish my time with you.....I love you Kurumi, please be my girlfriend! I can't promise you'll be the only one in my life due to some circumstances, so please forgive me but...I really love you!"

Meanwhile, Kurumi was stunned, then she thought back to their time together. It was her most memorable and happiest time ever since she became a spirit.

She looked back at the handsome face in front of her. Then she smiled brightly, "I love you too, Kazuya" is her reply to his confession.

"Are you sure? Call me a scumbag or whatever but I can't ensure that you'll be the only one. Sometime in the future, I will travel worlds again to do missions given to me, I can't say I will not meet someone I will like just like you." He warned her, he loves her but he doesn't want her to be hurt.

Kurumi smiled, "I'm okay with that and besides I can't control your feelings but just make sure I'm in your heart always"

No words were said after that as Kazuya approached her and then he embraced her. They stayed silent cherishing that beautiful moment.

After 10 minutes of hugging, he reluctantly let go of her. "...Let's go, I will just say my farewell then we will leave" He smiled

In Kazuya's house, Kotori, Shido, Kurumi, and Kazuya were in his living room. Kazuya invited the two as he will say his farewell.

"Ahem, First let me introduce you to my girlfriend, Kurumi." Kazuya fake cough to get their attention.

While the two visitors were quite surprised seeing Kazuya's girlfriend especially Kotori as she can sense Kurumi is a spirit.

Kurumi smiled towards them, "Nice to meet you two, Kazuya has been telling stories about you"

Shido became flustered as he is still isn't used to talking to girls especially beautiful ones like Kurumi.

"Nice to meet you too" Kotori greeted back curtly then she turned to Kazuya, "So, why did you invite us two?"

"I just want to say goodbye since I'm leaving now"

The two were surprised by the sudden farewell. They turned to Kazuya to see whether he was just joking with them like always but all they saw was his serious expression. The atmosphere suddenly felt sad and quite gloomy.

"But where are you going?" Kotori stared at this handsome boy opposite her. She felt quite complicated as with the time he was with them they became close, Their siblings treated Kazuya as an older brother and now they heard he was leaving.

Even Shido couldn't hide his sadness, he was always joking with Kazuya and they became close.

Kazuya noticed their sadness and was touched. He was quite close to the two so of course, he also felt sad but he can't do anything and besides, it's not like he can't go back but he still needs to gather DC.

"...I'm going home, my time here with you all was memorable and I will cherish it but I can't do anything. Besides I can still go back here but maybe in the future so don't be so sad you two. " Kazuya comforted the siblings who were sad, "I promise to visit you two sometime in the future, okay?"

With that, the two couldn't help but tear up. The place was silent, Kurumi and Kazuya just watch them patiently.

After the two were done crying, Kazuya stood up and went to the kitchen. He then turned his head to look at them, "As a goodbye, I will cook for you guys. Let's have a farewell party" He smiled then continued.

And so they had a party. Even though they are sad the party washed away that albeit just slightly. The part went on till before midnight, the time when Kazuya and Kurumi leave.

In the living room, the party just ended. Kazuya looked at the timer of the system and saw that it's just minutes before they left.

He and Kurumi were sitting together on the sofa. Kazuya held her hands suddenly which surprised her a bit.

Kazuya smiled at her, "Let's go!"

She nodded in response. And so Kazuya said to the system then he will go now.

A bright flash of light appeared covering Kazuya and Kurumi. Their previous spot was now empty.
