11 (11) Lucas's father

The car drove through the road, filled with people walking on the sidewalks. It still gathered quite an attention. 

"What do you like to do?" Lucas curiously asked Syuzia. 

Syuzia's eyes shifted to Lucas from the window, "Killing with my dagger? Ah, knife too." 

"Ha, well if you do such a thing now, you will be arrested I guess. But...I think you will get such a chance in the future." Lucas was sure to suppress the voice using mana. 

"I will?" Syuzia asked with confusion and expectation. 

 "Let me be clear. I like flirting with women and one-night stands too. As for what that means, let's see...." Lucas explained in a way Syuzia could understand. 

Fortunately, Syuzia was at least knowledgeable about intercourse basics. It seems like there were many interesting people in the underground arena.

'I knew that I was like this from the beginning. I was going to be intimate with her anyway, with a limit of course.' Lucas had long accepted the kind of messed up person he was. 

Lucas liked Syuzia, but that didn't mean he accepted her as his daughter in heart. He just went along with her so that she would grow closer to him.

"Alright. It's a promise." Syuzia said with a smile. 

Lucas nodded his head, 'Did she have interest in it too? Well, still I can't allow it, she must first grow up to the legit age.' 

Thankfully, Lucas had not fallen to such a degree.

Lucas's mobile began ringing suddenly. 

Seeing the contact name as 'father', he quickly picked it up.

"Where are you now?" Lucas's father's voice reached Lucas. 

"I just reached the entrance of the orphanage," Lucas answered looking out of the window. 

"Okay." The phone was cut right after. 

The moment Lucas entered the hall, he saw a familiar figure sitting on the couch with an intimidating presence. A secretary could be seen standing behind him, with a perfect posture with no flaws. She had blonde hair forming a lock, hanging down her ear and cheek.

'Ah? Is there a protagonist who will appear or have some connection with my father's company?' Lucas doubted, before thinking of a way to fire Irene as the secretary. 

If she became a helper of the protagonist, Lucas's father's company would have quite a hard time. It might even be absorbed or destroyed by others. 

'After all....' Lucas looked at his father.

'....a great villain, I guess.' Lucas smiled bitterly, it seemed like the problems would be delivered to him sooner or later. 

'Wait...My sister is a female lead and my father is a villain. I can see how this will flow, The protagonist would most likely meet my sister and make her take over the business internally.' Lucas grunted thinking this far. 

"So annoying..." 

"Is something the matter?" Syuzia asked, seeing Lucas's cramped face.

'I have no choice then, I will have to make My sister, no Grace fall for me, of course, while I hide my identity that is. I don't have any aversion to her just because she is my blood-related sister. Isn't forbidden love interesting?' Lucas joked to himself. 

Truthfully, Lucas was not very motivated. He knew that it would take quite an effort to win over Grace, even after he disguised himself as someone else.

Hence, He decided to wait for the protagonist to appear first. If he could take care of the protagonist using other means, there was no reason for him to go through the trouble. For now, he just decided to bring his relationship to a normal sibling level. 

"How are you doing, father?" Lucas executed a greeting. 

Terence's eyes were on Lucas from the very beginning, shock was apparent in his eyes. 

"You...How did you become an E- rank awakener?!" 

"I trained hard." Lucas simply answered he had no intention of hiding it. 

"You? Training?" Terence asked as if doubting his ears. 

"Yeah...So reward me for it." Lucas shamelessly demanded remembering his father telling him to work hard in the past. 

Terence couldn't stop his brain from running at full throttle, even after hearing Lucas's words. 

His son was someone who never tried working hard in the past.
