Chapter 1

<p>A girl woke up groaning blinking slowly to chase away the bright light, once her vision cleared her eyes widened for a second then turned confused. She thought "The last I remembered I was walking home from work and then OH NO the accident. So that's why I'm in the hospital but where are my parents they should have been informed by now."<br/><br/>She looked around the room and saw a window on her left side of the bed with a long couch, a door to the bathroom and on her right was the door to go outside. "This doesn't seem like a general ward but a VIP room instead" this was the last thought in her mind then she fainted because of a splitting headache.<br/><br/>The next second when she opened her eyes there darkness was all around her it was as if she was floating in air.<br/><br/>"Hello where am I?" she asked aloud. She thought "I was just in the hospital right now but then why.....?"<br/><br/>"I brought you here" she turned to see a girl so transparent as if a ghost which scared her a bit. "Who are you?" the girl asked.<br/><br/>The transparent girl replied "I don't have much time. You are in my body right now" The girl was shocked that she exclaimed "What how is that possible...!"<br/><br/>The girl shimmered slightly as if she was going to disappear any second "I don't know how you are here but I know that I have died and you have taken my place. I'm using up my last strength to give my memories to you. And one last thing even if I died you don't have to live according to my life, your life is yours it's just my body you are using. I'm giving you my memories not because I want you to continue living my life but to avoid certain things which happened in my life."<br/><br/>The girl got more confused with her words but instead said "Wait, before that what about me have I really died and what about my body?"<br/><br/>The girl was fully blurry by now it was as if she was not present at all "Yes, you have died and about your body would have been ashes by now."<br/><br/>"Oh" was all could the girl say she didn't knew how to react to that piece of news. And once again she fainted.<br/><br/>The next time she woke up she was back in the hospital it was already dark outside. She thought "Thank god no one knows I have woken up beacuse I would need time to analyse the memories I have gotten before interacting with anyone else. Okay so let's see where am I and whose body I am residing in." She closed her eyes and concentrated on the memories she have received from the girl. It was like watching a movie in third person point of view for her, she was there but no one could see her or think that she was watching over everything in the girl's life. So the name of the previous owner's body was Min Luna she's currently 17 years turning 18 soon in a few months.<br/><br/>After watching her whole life the girl could only say, "I'm sorry Luna you had to go through all that you tried your best but maybe fate or universe I don't know was not in your side. But I promise you that I live this life wholeheartedly for the both of us now you can rest in peace" feeling a little conflicted beacuse of the feelings in her heart. "Thank you..." she heard a faint whisper and then her body felt light as if a huge burden has been taken off her shoulders.<br/><br/>All the past life memories started running through her head her childhood, school life, adulthood, boyfriend and most importantly her family. She was just a simple girl going through her life there was nothing outstanding but still she was happy with her life.<br/><br/>She thought "I don't know how my parents and sister have been coping with me gone but I hope they can continue with their life happily."<br/><br/>Her boyfriend, she fell in love with him in her senior grade, they had just informed about themselves to their parents but now. She sighed "I just hope he moves on with his life."<br/><br/>She wiped the tears of her face and got down out of bed to the washroom. The girl looked in the mirror to see the same transparent girl but much more alive with watery brown eyes, black hair, a little on the pale side skin which still had some baby fat on her cheeks.<br/><br/>The girl slowly smiled which mimicked by the girl in the mirror. She thought "I look good just like those Korean artists which I has been interested in lately." The girl pinched herself on the cheeks it felt soft and fluffy which made her cheek red because of the pinch. She looked at her hands next which were soft and red a little because of the cold. She washed her face with the water and got out to see a night nurse had come up to check up on her.</p>
