45 System Party 2

*Starfire's Pov*

I walked over to them and smiled innocently, "Hi. Nice to meet you," I said stretching my hands towards the girl for an handshake, casually ignoring her host.

"Um... Hi," she seemed nervous, glancing at her host for a reaction, but shook my hand nevertheless.

I smiled at her and subtly glanced at her host to see him watching me with an amused expression.

"So it seems I am invisible here," he finally spoke and I turned to look at him. His tone seemed like he cared about me ignoring him but I could see amusement dancing in his eyes. His red hair was handsomely styled and his sharp but amused green eyes were watching my every move. This guy is definitely not normal just as I had expected.

"Oh, it seems I ignored you for a while. I am truly sorry," I said playing along while holding back my sly smile.

"No worries as long as that was not done intentionally," he said with a harmless but knowing smile.

'He knew I did that on purpose. I am not surprised in the least, I expected this from him especially since...' I thought before looking back at him with a glint in my eye.

I smiled back innocently not showing any signs that I really did that intentionally.

"To apologise for that, I should introduce myself. I am Starfire while this is my system, Little que," I said sweetly as I brought Little que closer.

"Oh... Hi," Little que said giving him an uncomfortable smile.

The guy smirked and also brought System 002 closer, "this is my system, System 002 and you can call me 'X'."

"Hmm, why didn't you give your system an actual name?" I asked curiously as he just shrugged.

"She doesn't need a name, isn't that right?" He said smirking down at her as she nodded obediently.

I rose an eyebrow skeptical about their interaction but soon put on a little smile.

"Ok then. How is your name just a letter though? Don't you want to tell me your real name?" I asked innocently looking at him.

"Only those who deserve it will know my name," he said sweetly with a warm smile but my eyes grew cold.

He indirectly told me that I don't deserve to know his name. How annoying... but I do love a challenge~

"So how many people know your name then?~" I asked, my eyes going back to normal.

"Just one person," he said with an unreadable expression.

"Oh really? Who?" I asked, geniuely curious this time.

"Head."

I paused and looked at him silently for a while. Head, that mysterious person I keep hearing about but have still not seen. Will Head come to the party today?

'Little que, will Head be here today?'

[I am not sure about that Host. Sorry.]

I kept quiet for a while more before I heard a loud voice and turned to see an announcer on stage.

"Our celebrant will now come to the stage. It is time for this party to begin!" The announcer said cheerfully as I took the spotlight and went onstage. The announcer gave me the microphone and I smiled at the crowd.

"Oh my! She is that scary host!"

"System 678, you still haven't learnt your lesson! Shush, she might hear you."

"Wow, she is so beautiful! Her gown is gorgeous!!!"

"Yeah, System 425's host does not stand a chance beside her!"

The crowd broke into a frenzy as they all mumured excitedly about Starfire.

"Hello everyone," I said sweetly as they all became silent, "thank you all for coming to this party and I hope we can all enjoy it!" I gave them all a grin and I could pratically see the hearts signs floating everywhere as they had adoring faces.

I smiled at them once more and gave a little speech before getting off the stage to enjoy the party. A big crowd surrounded me and asked me various questions as I smiled and gave them vague answers.

'Hey Little que, I am getting bored of this. Come help me out~'

[Huh? But how?]

I could see Little que eating barbecue with innocent eyes as he watched me.

Why did he have to be so adorable?~

'Nevermind, just stay there and look cute~'

{My Host is weird...}

I faked a sad expression with with teary eyes and looked at the crowd pitifully.

"Who hurt Miss Awesomeness?!" One system asked indignantly.

"Oh no, what happened, Host Starfire?" Another asked with a concerned expression.

"Are you alright? Did we hurt you?"

I pitifully wiped the tears out of the corner of my eyes and shook my head, "No, it is nothing. I just..." I trailed off looking away as they all got more protective. 

'Hehehe, they all probably see a cute pitiful girl trying to stay strong~'

"Well, I just... I really wanted to spend quality time here with my system but now he is all alone and I am away from him. If only the two of us could just enjoy this party..." I sniffed again and they all looked at me with sympathetic expressions.

"All of you, move. Let us leave Miss Awesomeness to have fun with her system. Go on," a system said as the crowd gradually left and I smiled at him softly.

"Thanks," I said with a warm smile and he blushed before nodding.

"No problem at all. I am system 908, a huge fan of yours," he said with a big smile as he bowed.

"So I have fans now. How sweet~ Nice to meet you, keep doing good and you might become a real fan of mine~" I said winking before walking away to Little que.

System 908 looked down as he clenched his hands before looking up with a determined expression, "I will prove myself to her!"

Meanwhile...

"Little que~" I said cutely as I got to him side, picking up some barbecue too.

"Host, you fixed that problem quite well. Good job," He said calmly as he continued eating.

"You don't seem to be that proud though~"

"Well, I already expected that from you. You are really good at what you do."

"Aww, is my Little que finally warming up to me and acknowledging that I am awesome?~"

"Oh please Host, don't feed your ego," he said, rolling his eyes at me.

"Though Little que, I actually meant what I said. I want to spend the party with my adorable system~" I smiled innocently and winked as Little que looked away with a little smile. Adorable.

I smiled again before looking around and spotting X. That guy won't give me his actual name but I have my plans to get it~

Little que noticed me watching him and turned to me before talking in my mind. He probably doesn't want others to eavesdrop. My little baby has grown up and is being discreet~

[Host, do you know System 002's host? It seemed like you have met him before or something.]

'Of course I know him. Do you want to know where I know him from?~'

[Oh! Where?]

{Could host have figured out that he was that level 8 zombie? No, probably not. He looks nothing like that zombie... but then again, Host is Host.}

[W-what?!]

{Ok, this is worse than her knowing he was that zombie...}
