17 Ch. 9 Part 1

YanZhi and Xiao Ling started to discuss their next step when they got home with Xiao Ling looking happier than ever, YanZhi gave the silvers from selling the crystals to Xiao Ling which Xiao Ling thanked him and put the box in his dungeon..

" I plan on buying the whole mountain, how about we build our new home and live on the mountain? " YanZhi suggested to Xiao Ling

" I don't mind, but the house we will be building will be huge and wide with quarters for your Yue and the rest as well as quarters for slaves we buy in the future " Xiao Ling said to him

" hm~ let's build a martial arts school beside the house and take a few human disciples.... I have nothing to do anyway I'll just use that to keep myself busy " YanZhi informed making Xiao Ling nod in understanding... Xiao Ling knew how boredom could kill a person since he's been dying of boredom ever since he transmigrated here.

" okay, Xiang Gong should leave the building arrangements to me.... I'll draw a suitable plan of building that suits our plans. But first thing is to clean the house we're going to live in for now and shopping for daily necessities, then we'll find a shop suitable for the restaurant I want to open. Since it'll be Summer in about a week from now, I plan on opening a restaurant which sells cold dishes... a theme to the season. " Xiao Ling happily said making YanZhi stared at him skeptically.... he wasn't sure about Xiao Ling's idea of opening a restaurant since he hasn't tasted Xiao Ling's craft yet, but he was willing to give Xiao Ling the support he wants and fulfill his wishes... money wasn't a problem for them and Xiao Ling could spend the money however he wanted.

" we'll do everything little wife says " YanZhi smiled and said as he took out the learning set they bought.... he started to teach Xiao Ling the traditional characters and taught him how to write both their names using the traditional characters

" hm~ little wife.... your calligraphy leaves much to desire " YanZhi mocked as he stared dumbfounded at at Xiao Ling's writing

" hmp, it's just that you've lived too long and you've been using a brush for a long time.... I could write better if I had a pen! " Xiao Ling pouted and stated as a matter of fact making YanZhi laughed

" Hehe, little wife looks like an angry hedgehog when he's angry and flustered " YanZhi teased. They packed up after learning and writing for an hour before taking their baths and head to bed, Xiao Ling cuddled into YanZhi's chest as he breathed his scent and they both slept holding into each other.

As early as the cocks crowed the Jun's family separation with YanZhi became the talk of the villagers as they gossip among each others, woman, gers and men alike.....

" ah the Jun family eldest son couldn't hold it anymore with the family and separated.... I for one was thinking he'd separate when he came back home, it took longer than expected " a woman said to her follow as they laughed about it

" poor child, he ran from the house at the age of six due to their harshness and when he came back this old they still treated him bad... even his ger wife is suffering at their hands " they talked as if pitying YanZhi and Xiao Ling but the truth of it was to their enjoyment and relieving of their boredom.

Xiao Ling and YanZhi woke up early and headed to their new home taking nothing from the Jun family since they owned nothing good there, Yue was waiting for them at the house when they got there. She cupped hands hands and greeted them happily when she saw them approach

" Yue, is it all right for you to come down to the village? " Xiao Ling asked worriedly as YanZhi inserted the key into the lock and opened the court yard door

" I called her here to help with the cleaning, it's alright with her being here.... I don't allow them to come down the mountain only because they couldn't fully transform. They can come down anytime they want if they're able to transform " YanZhi said to Xiao Ling as they walked into the house. They walked around as they inspected the condition of the house, there were a total of three rooms in the house.... a bed room, a room to entertain guests and a kitchen with a built stove in it. The house wasn't as bad as they thought which made them come to an agreement that it'll take them half a day to clean and repair the dilapidated parts and fix the holes in the ceiling, they all got to work as they opened the doors and windows to air out... Xiao Ling made an improvised broom which he gave to Yue for her to sweep with, he searched around and found of cloths which can be used as rags for cleaning as they worked to clean the house spotless. YanZhi left them and went up the mountain to chop down some trees to repair the rooftop, they heard a knock on the door when they were lost in cleaning... Yue put down her broom and walked to open the court yard gate. Xiangzhi and Chuntao who came to help their eldest brother clean the house we're stunned to see Yue opened the door, it made them think they've mistaken someone else's house for their eldest brother's new home

" who might you be? " Yue asked

" is this the house of brother Yan and sister-in-law? " Xiangzhi asked politely

" ah~ you're here for master and mistress, come in " she stepped aside and invited them in

" mistress a gongzi and a young lady are here for master and mistress " Yue politely called out to Xiao Ling which made him stopped cleaning and walked out confused... they weren't expecting anyone and neither are familiar with any gongzi or young lady for the people to make a trip to visit then in this dilapidated house

" ah it's fifth brother and sister-in-law? " Xiao Ling said when he saw Xiangzhi and Chuntao, they nodded when he asked but their attention was on Yue who called YanZhi master and Xiao Ling mistress

" ah you've already met Yue, she's your eldest brother's disciple... Yue they are your master's siblings Jun Xiangzhi and Jun Chuntao " Xiao Ling introduced them to each other

" I have seen Xiangzhi gongzi and little miss " Yue cupped hers hands and greeted them as they also cupped in response... they were shocked to hear that their eldest brother had a disciple but they buried their curiosity since they didn't know anything at all about their eldest brother.

" Yue head to the west side of the village and search for grandma Shen... tell her I sent you to inquire about the clothes and if she has made some, take them back to me.... here give this money to her and tell her I said that's for another guarantee and that I'll come find her later " Xiao Ling passed sixty cents to Yue and sent her on an errand to grandma Shen.... she cupped her hands and excused herself before Xiao Ling turned his attention to the twins

" so what brought you here to day? " Xiao Ling asked

" actually we came here to help you clean the house when we heard you rented this place from brother Dahu, you didn't even stay for breakfast so we couldn't ask elder brother's permission and came here straight after breakfast " Xiangzhi replied shyly as they both looked embarrassed

" little sister is it alright for you to be here, won't mother get angry? " Xiao Ling asked Chuntao since Du Shi didn't allow her to go out let alone get close to YanZhi
