321 A tearful reunion

Chi Wei's words were met with shocked looks and stunned silence by the Wang's, Mama Chi and Papa Chi.

Chi Lian glared at Chi Wei who did not even realize that he had just thrown her under the bus by mentioning her specifically.

Madam An's gaze quickly shifted to Chi Lian and she thought, "No wonder she was so protective of her mother last night."

Mama Chi looked at her sons and then her daughter in disbelief. She wondered why and how they kept such a big thing from her.

"Chi-Chi," she said in disbelief with her eyes squinting heavily.

Chi Lian swallowed and said defensively, "Mother, we had no proof so we could not tell you anything. Even my brothers agreed, you ask them?" she quickly lumped in the others. If she was going down, she was dragging them all with her, especially Chi Wei that betrayer.
