16 I Don't Want You To Be With Her.

"I'm here, come outside." Fu Mingze said as he stood in front of the Yang mansion and ended the call.

While waiting for Yang Meiyi, a car stopped in front of him and Yang Jia came out, she smiled at him and asked "What brings here, we aren't supposed to meet until tomorrow."

"We are meeting tomorrow for business but I'm here for personal matter."

Yang Jia smiled dropped when he said that and she walked closer to him as she asked "Are you here for Yang Meiyi?"

Fu Mingze narrowed his eyes at their sudden closeness and said "Yes."

"You do know that she is seventeen, still a minor."

"The both of us are just friends, nothing more is going on between us."

Yang Jia scoffed "We both know that Meiyi wants something more."

Fu Mingze was silent for a moment before he finally asked "That's our personal matter."

"What?"

"Meiyi and mine affair are not for outsiders." Fu Mingze coldly said.

Yang Jia looked at him in disbelief as she asked "Are you calling me an outsider? Do not forget that she is my sister."

"One who you do not love. Perhaps you secretly care for her so I will tell you this, I will never touch Yang Meiyi in an inappropriate manner while she is still a minor."

"You are saying you will do so when she comes of age."

"I'm saying i do not think of such things when I'm with her. Not everyone has a dirty mind like you Yang Jia."

"A dirty mind? I don't have a dirty mind Fu Mingze, I am just looking at for you because of old time sake. Can't you see that she will ruin you."

"I can take care of myself, Yang Jia. There is no need to look after me or get involved in my personal life."

"This is why I hate her. First she took my dad away from me and now she is taking you too." Yang Jia said with watery eyes.

"What do you mean by that?" Fu Mingze asked with a frown.

"When we were in the university, Gu Zhen had said that you were in love with me and now that I think about it, you did cared about me because I was the only girl whom you had ever allow to get close to you. You were my friend."

Fu Mingze looked at Yang Jia and sighed deeply before he said "I met you when I was in my third year and you were in your first and I was indeed attracted to you but I didn't know why. Perhaps it was your kindness or maybe something else but it was never love and that attraction has died a long time ago. Why are you even bringing this up? You love Gu Zhen don't you?"

"Yes but I also feel something for you, I don't want you to be with her."

"We are friends Yang Jia, we can never be anything more. And who I decide to be with isn't any of your business."

"So that means you really are starting to have feelings for her?"

Fu Mingze let out a soft smile as he said "She makes it difficult for me to not feel anything for her."

"You will get hurt, Meiyi is no different from her mother, she doesn't deserve you and you may think you like her but have you ever thought that you are looking for a glimpse of me in her"

Fu Mingze frowned and said "Why would I look for a glimpse of you in her when I don't even remember the reason I was first attracted to you. I just want us to be friends, Yang Jia."

Yang Jia shook her head and said "Not if you are with Meiyi."

"Yang Jia..."

"See you tomorrow." Yang Jia said, she was about to leave when she saw Yang Meiyi coming out of the house and out of spite, she walked back to Fu Mingze and pressed her lips to his.

Fu Mingze immediately pushed her away and cleaned his lips with his hand as he glared at her coldly and said "Never do that again."

Yang Jia was shocked, not only by his reaction but by how coldly he was looking at her, this was the first time Fu Mingze has ever looked and spoken to her so coldly. Just what kind of charm did Sang Xiu and her daughter had that they were always capable of making men fall for them, with a clenched fist, Yang Jia got back into her car and drove inside the mansion.

Fu Mingze turned to see Yang Meiyi staring at him with tears in her eyes, he saw that she was about to go inside the house when he said "Don't go. Won't you give me a hug, today was quite stressful and I think I drank more than I should."

Yang Meiyi frowned when she heard him and immediately walked up to him, she placed a hand on his forehead and asked "Why did you drink so much? you know it isn't good for you." She placed a hand in his chest and asked "Are you feeling any discomfort? Should I call Xia Lian?" She was about to asked more questions but stopped when he said "I didn't kiss her back."

Yang Meiyi removed her hand from his chest and looked into his eyes as she said "Don't fall in love with her, she doesn't love you like I do. If you chose her, you will only end up hurt."

"And if I choose you?" Fu Mingze asked with a smile which only brighten by her flushed face.

"Then I will never hurt you." Yang Meiyi replied sincerely. She looked at the floor as she asked "Why didn't you kiss her back?"

Hearing her question, Fu Mingze suddenly bent his face to her level and bought his lips to her ears as he whispered "Because there is someone else who I really want to kiss but I can only do that when she turns eighteen."

Fu Mingze looked at her face and chuckled when he saw her red cheek, he removed his coat and wrapped it around her as he said "Your exams are coming up and you can't afford to get sick. Why did you come out wearing so little?"

Ignoring his words, Yang Meiyi blurted out "I don't have to be eighteen before you can kiss me."

Fu Mingze raised his brow and asked "What makes you think you are the girl I'm talking about?"

Fu Mingze laughed softly at her silence and said "Let's go, I want to take you somewhere."

As if getting out of her daze, Yang Meiyi asked "If it isn't me then who?"

Fu Mingze smiled and entered the car without answering her, Yang Meiyi immediately follow him and entered the car as well with a huge smile on her face.

As the car drove away, none of the two people noticed the man who have been watching the whole scence through a window, he dialed a number on his phone and said "Is it still possible to send my youngest daughter abroad for her to complete her studies? I truly think the universities abroad will be better than the ones here. Do not worry, Yang Meiyi hates studying, I'm certain she wouldn't be able to pass Suwei entrance exam."
