The thick fog had yet to disperse. Other than the river, the two lands, and the bamboo forest in front of her, she could not see anything else. She could only vaguely see the shape of a mountain range in the distance.

She walked along the bluestone path into the bamboo forest. A faint fragrance of flowers entered her nose. She could tell that it was the fragrance of lotus flowers.

There was a staircase in the corner of the living room that led upstairs. Hua Shu was not in a hurry to go upstairs. Instead, she went out of the living room and turned into the corridor, visiting the other rooms from left to right.

On the other side of the room, there was a three-story shelf. Other than a few jade bottles on the first row, the other two rows were empty.

There were four shelves. On one of them were a few weapons, earrings, rings, and other trinkets. The other three were empty.

The next room was on the right-hand side of the living room. After opening the door, Hua Shu did not enter because this was a meditation room. Other than an earthen platform, a low table with an incense burner, and a soft cushion, there was nothing else inside.
