2 The Reincarnation

Huh??? What do you mean the demonic reincarnation cycle I thought you were here to help me not make matters worse!!!" " I am! just hear me out my love. Since I am a demonic immortal, it will be a lot easier for me to assist you if you are in the demonic cycle, I would be able to give you my blessing and once you are finished this lifetime I will have completed the necessary precautions for me to snatch your soul and return you back to our dimension without the Overseer of the Heavenly Cycle intervening." he cusps Mel's hands in his and kisses his knuckles "Please trust me" he stares deeply at him with those bewitching and devilish gray eyes.

Mel didn't know how long he stayed in Al's Al's spacial dimension for, maybe a month? Time flowed differently there.

Most of the time was spent with Al teaching Eiji about trans-migration, the power system of the world, how to contact him, how he would help etc. After a while though Eiji was pretty sure that Al just liked having him around even if he wasn't the same Melancton that he knew, their bodies sure where compatible if anything *cough* *cough*.

Despite all the stalling he tried to do ,the time for Eiji's reincarnation eventually came. Although Al had narrowed down the possible worlds into bottom cycle and ones that Eiji wouldn't have such a hard time adjusting too the body that Eiji could end up in was still up in the air and was mostly up to combatibilty.

(the bottom cycle refers to the lower demonic cycle and is basically for the souls of people who haven't that high of demonic karma so haven't committed too grave of sins).

When he opened his eyes he was no longer in Al's comfortable spacial dimension but a laying face down on the cold floor in a sparsely decorated room.

His head ached as a mirage of memories started to flood in.

He had trans-migrated to the body of 19 year old Simon in the Lazuli Kingdom. From the jist of what he could piece together in his brain he was currently in a world called Zina named after the god that is said to have created this world.

It was populated by 4 main races, the Demons, the Elves, the Beastfolk with the Humans being at the bottom of the hierarchy. The Humans were currently at war..... and losing. Mostly the Elves and Beastfolk payed the humans no mind and even slightly pitied them but the Demons greatly enjoyed tormenting the human population, viewing them as an inferior species to do with them as they wish. In retaliation the Humans waged a war on the demons which has lasted for over the last 100 years, the war has left human civilisations devastated while the Demons remain unfazed.

The body he had transmigrated was Simon Rhea. Simon was born into one of the fallen Nobel familes, The House of Rhea which overlooked the kingdom of Rhea a small Vassel Kingdom near the borders of the Human Territory. Rhea which was was once a militairy stronghold fell within the first 20 years of the war causing the Rhea family to seek refuge in the North amongst their cousin family the Stowoods.

While intially recieving their cousins with open arms as time went by and Rhea family's influence dwindled their treatment gradually became more and more cold as they where seen more like a burden. Things were looking bleak for the Rhea family until Simon was born. From a young age Simon showed extreme potiential academically and with the reimaining funds the Rhea's could scrounge toghther they sent Simon to the most esteemed school of the country in the Capital City of Lazuli in hope of him restoring some of their influence. His outstanding potiental was recognised by the Royal Family which lead to them recruiting him to work for them once he graduated.

So what had happened for this promising youth to have died so early? That was something neither the previous or current Simon knew.

While Simon was smart, he was by no means an earth shattering genius and his quiet and pacifist attitude had amassed him at least no knowable enemies. Ahh but maybe this will help him figure it out.

Eiji pushed himself off the floor and stretched his limbs. "Calling Amy!" he said in a sort of shout whisper. In front of him popped out a circular black ball, it had cartoonish black devil wings on it's back and a gross realistic giant eye protruding from its 'head'. It blinked slowly while facing Eiji seemingly taking in information about him "gross" though Eiji.

Eventually it spoke "Greetings Master I am "Amy" " it didn't have a mouth or anything instead it directly spoke telepathically in his mind. "My job is to provide you with as much information as I can and help you settle into this world, is there anything I can help you with", "Yeh, tell me who killed Simon."
