Transmigrating: Why's The Villain Pursuing Me?!

Arawinda fell asleep on her work desk yet when she opened her eyes in the next second, she seems to be in a different place?? Hm? Her name changed to Arawinda Danastri, not Arawinda Ratujaya! Wait-wait, she knew who Danastri was. Wasn't she a second female lead from a zombie book and her ending was miserable? She was the ex-lover of the male protagonist and surprisingly the ex-crush of the villain. Back in time, she was asked to go out by the villain but in the end, she was together with the male protagonist instead! What's worse, the male protagonist and the villain were enemies! They often compete in terms of strength, both ability, and manpower! Once for the sake of the male protagonist, she went to 'pursue' the villain and stole his core ability just to make him lose his power. Deceived by the woman he loved, it made the villain have a love-hate for her! But, in a blink of an eye, the male protagonist abandoned her to be together with the female protagonist and she was tricked into a lab then was accidentally killed by the villain disguised as a researcher! Arawinda Ratujaya--no, it should Arawinda Danastri now, shivered chilly at the thought of her miserable ending! She really wanted to avoid her death, but she couldn't ahh! Because the story had progressed to the point she was about to be abandoned by the male protagonist! That means she had stolen the villain's core ability and her future ending seems already right in front of her eyes! However, the memory of Danastri had successfully reformed her view of her character, and her view of the story itself. Relying on these memories, she doubted whether she could survive or not, however, she would try her best! ... It's just that, why was the villain pursuing her now instead of hating her to the bone?!

She apparently looking cautious...

Sanjaya Headquarters, Conference Room.

Once Trainer Nehan and Jaka enter the meeting room, the conference table which was already full of people, only leaving some empty ones, all chuckled.

"Mr. Jaka and Old Nehan seem reluctant to join the meeting~"

Jaka smiled as he sat on his seat, "I am! I'm reluctant to part with my lovely daughter."

"I was having fun watching my student near his death and I was called here." Trainer Nehan sat on the seat with his name and sighed, "How many years I didn't sit in this room..."

"Probably since I'm just a teenager, Grandpa Nehan."

The young chief who was merely sitting and observing finally opened his mouth.

Trainer Nehan shifted his old eyes at the young chief in his late twenties on the main seat.

The good-looking young man had a gentle look, especially with his hooded droopy eyes. Even his demeanor was rather graceful. However, there was something unique about him. Unlike other youngsters, all of his hair had almost turned gray ashen.

Trainer Nehan smirked, "Lenient boy, that's something obvious. Otherwise, I won't be too surprised being invited like this."

The young chief nodded unhurriedly, "The Counselor of Defense said you're involved in the zombie hideout discovery. We have to bother you, Grandpa Nehan."

An ordinary-looking middle-aged man with tied hair instantly waved his hands, "Boy, don't call me that, it's really weird. Just call my name instead!"

"I understand, uncle." The young chief nodded to him before glancing at the only empty seat.

Jaka laughed lightly and explain, "That crazy researcher perhaps find something in his research. I'll talk to him after the meeting."

"I see." The young chief raised his hand and gestured to them, "Let's not waste time anymore."

Shortly after Trainer Nehan disappeared, Adam and Arthur glanced at each other, tactically separated to search for the miserable Sun, and would come back to their usual hang-out area.

Adam strolled toward the back of the academy while Arthur toward the front academy.

Apparently, today seems to be Arthur's lucky day. As soon as he wandered around the small garden in front of the academy, he saw Sun popping out his butt in bushes as if he was a peeping pervert.

Arthur raised his eyebrows and stood behind Sun silently, seeking the target Sun had been peeping. At the big tree near the gate, he surprisingly noticed a girl in her hoodie acting exactly the same as Sun, with her head facing toward the gate area.

He tilted his head and pursed his lips. Peeping the peeper peeping? That was laughable.

Not long after, the suspicious girl in a hoodie ran back to the academy, not even aware two guys were staring at her clearly.

Sun stood up with a thoughtful face and mumbled, "... Why is she peeping at her?"

"Who?"

A voice rang behind him made him jerk, turning his head rapidly. Seeing it was his friend, Sun patted his beating chest roughly, "Sigh, do you want me to die early?!"

Arthur rubbed his nose, feeling funny, "I should be asking you that. Do you want to die early because you peep on a girl?"

Sun immediately squinted his eyes mysteriously and shook his index finger at him, "Tsk-tsk-tsk! She is no ordinary girl!" He then leaned toward him and held his palm near his mouth, whispered, "She is Kencana, peeking at Arawinda just now!"

Rather than answering, Arthur frowned instead. That name had entered his blacklist, he was resistant to know more about her. Still, since Arawinda was involved...

"We can just tell Arawinda when she's back so," Sun slapped his back, "What are you folding your handsome face? It will wrinkle soon! Tell me, why are you here? Where did that fussy old man go?"

Arthur shrugged his shoulders, "I don't know where he goes, it seems important. He only told us to let you know that you'll continue your special training once he's back."

"Great-great!" Sun rubbed his palm, grinning at his free moment, "Let's eat meet with Adam first then eat! I'm hungry after running around like a dog!"

Listening to his complaint, Arthur couldn't help but observe his body up and down, thinking back at what Trainer Nehan just said. Perhaps, they really should press him to exercise, adding a bit of muscle to his skinny body.

Arthur was right, but there was a mistake he did not know. No matter how skinny he was, Sun was still a man and he could even lift a girl easily.

Arawinda tugged her collar jacket and blinked rapidly at the building in front of her, a public-health-center-looking building, the lab!

Currently, she was standing with her feet in the yard waiting for the employee to unlock the entrance, together with other students and the guards. The yard was pretty large, but perhaps because she knew that Danastri once died in this lab, she felt this place was creepy and especially...

Arawinda shifted her eyes widely at the guy beside her.

The villain was right next to her...

The good thing was he was still sane, and there wasn't any sign he would end her at the moment.

Raden felt her gaze on him thus he glanced back at her yet only found she had turned her head away, seemingly avoiding his sight.

... He did not know what to think. He had been unknowingly observing her and realized that the closer they got to the lab, the stiffer she became. She occasionally tugged on her hat and jacket, fidgeting her fingers, and her head keep turning left and right, apparently looking cautious...

"Scared?"

Arawinda froze at his out of nowhere question. She bit her lips and slowly turned to face him, suspiciously examining his face. He did not deliberately ask that, right?

Instead of showing a confirmation, she scowled at him, "You're scaring me!"

"...?" Certainly, Raden's eyes showed a trace of confusion.

Arawinda noticed it, chose to ignore him, and in the corner of her eyes, she caught a figure in a white coat in front of the entrance of the lab.

One of the kids said to the guards, "Sir, is that the miss you're talking about?"

"That's right. Let's go and meet her."

This time the guards used a big and fast step, striding toward the woman in the entrance of the lab, making the other kids, including her and the villain behind her, need to run to catch up with them. One could say that the guards had become impatient waiting for a long time.

Reaching her, one of the guards said, "Miss, it's more than an hour from the appointment time. Just what are you doing?"

The woman still smiled even being faced by the big men, "I'm sorry, sirs. Our side just found something interesting so we get excited too much."

"Miss, you should apologize to the kids instead as they too need to go back to the academy, not only have to wait for your excitement to calm. We know that for you, researchers, it's a trivial matter but remember this is the upper order. Don't neglect us too much. There are so many of you, can just one of you drop your work and solved our matter first before resuming all you want?"

Arawinda was soon aware of the relationship between the guard and perhaps, the lab itself, was a bit crooked. It made her feel curious, just what made the guard seem to dislike these researchers.

She glanced at the guard who had a solemn expression before glancing at the woman to see her reaction.

Out of her expectation, the woman bow herself to the students and said sincerely, "Little friends, we're sorry to keep you waiting for a long time." Once she said that, she immediately straightened her body and stretch her arm to invite them, "Please, I'll take you to the waiting room."

The students were stunned while the guard showed more dislike on their faces. But this time, they did not say anything and pushed the students gently, "Go in and followed her."

Raden noticed the guard's hand was about to reached Arawinda's back, his hand subconsciously grab her wrist and dragged her lightly, "Go."

Arawinda was not aware her wrist was being held by the villain as she was too immersed in scrutinizing the lab, Danastri's grave.

Unlike her imagination where the lab would be all white, this lab wasn't, as mostly the interior was gray, the same goes for the floor and the wall. Leaving the gray hall toward the corridor, her nose began to smell disinfectant. Where the disinfectant came from, she also did not know. Was it manmade or from an ability?

The corridor was a bit long, passing a dozen doors she did not know what was inside. With the dimmed light and only their footstep being heard, the air was a bit chilling. Yet from this, Arawinda could conclude something.

The quality of soundproofing of every room was high. If Danastri once locked inside one of that rooms, no matter what happens inside, no matter how loud Danastri screamed and shrieked, no one would be able to hear...

At such a thought, she intuitively bit her lips, smitten in her anxiety. Her breathing soon went into chaos and her heart began to pound out loud, making her chest pain. Her hands were frigid, shakingly squeezed her fists, wishing to clutch over something.

She regretted thinking too much. This time, she was clearly unable to control her fear anymore. If her reactions were noticed by others, she was afraid they would assume something that should not.

Arawinda bowed her head and shut her eyes tightly, trying to fight with her emotions. Yet in the next moment, she suddenly felt her hand was enveloped by something warm.

Opening her eyes slowly, she eyed at her hand, which was actually being wrapped by a hand bigger than hers, lessening her uneasiness.

She lift her head to see the guy who was holding her hand only to be met with deep profound eyes, flashing concerns in them.

Oh! There are so many names I have to think about! (╬☉д⊙)⊰⊹ฺ
