"F*ck, what can we do? This stupid deer has just been lying there in the same spot where the hole disappeared for the last 3 days..."
Jake cursed and shouted as he came back from his scouting mission of the hole where Lumen had disappeared into.
It had been over 3 days since he was swallowed up by the hole and the group of three were barely clinging on to the idea that Lumen may be alive anymore.
It pained them to think that even if he is still alive somewhere down there, they wouldn't even be able to reach him because the level 13 deer beast was still resting in the same location where he had fallen.
"Calm down Jake, let's think this through shall we? We can only stay here for so long, there are barely any beasts in this area due to that high level deer marking it's territory here. And let's face it, Lumen is probably already dead by now, we have to come to terms with the reality that we will most likely never see him again and move on with our lives."
