[Night]

I find myself sitting next to Gwen and Ben waiting for Max to bring the food... I have to say, knowing Max's tastes, I'm not very happy about what I'm going to eat. But hey, I'm not picky about what I eat either, and I can hardly get poisoned. After 5 years I have successfully increased my resistance to poison. I think there are very few poisons on earth that can have a fatal effect on me and I highly doubt Max's food is poisonous, so it's okay.

"Food" – Max said as he approached with a bowl of worms… live… I think I'm regretting it.

'No, no, I know I can do it.' – I thought as he had a solemn look while looking at the bowl of worms.

While I was self-motivating, Ben asked his grandfather what he brought and Max replied that they were marinated worms, considered tasty in some countries.

'At the very least, they must be countries with severe poverty problems.' – I thought, although remembering that some countries in my old world had gastronomy that was just as strange, I stopped thinking about it.

"And other disgusting ones" – Gwen said as she watched a worm escape from the bowl.

"If you don't like it, I have sheep's tongues in the refrigerator" – Max said, making me shudder a little. There are many foods that I don't like and animal tongue is among those.

"Well, I'm open to trying new foods, so thanks." – I said, making Max smile and Gwen and Ben look at me with a look of surprise and some repulsion. I don't blame them, in my old life I would have done the same thing.

"It's good that at least one of you is trying, I know you'll love them haru." – Max said with a smile on her face and I couldn't help but remember when my mother from the other life said the same thing every time I went to try a food recommended by her. The last thing before she died was some sushi, I'll just say that she ended up vomiting all the food a few minutes after eating it.

"EWWww Couldn't we have a hamburger or something?" – Ben said with some hope in his eyes.

"Oh ben, this summer will be an adventure for your palates children, I will go for the tongue." – Max said as he retired to look for the sheep tongues.

Ben and Gwen tried to see what we had to eat, unfortunately none of us had anything that would last us through the summer, well, unfortunately for them, they don't want to try to eat the food that Max willingly gave us.

[Time after]

After a dinner with two people trying not to vomit with every bite, in the end the worms weren't so bad. I'm still sitting in the same place where I had dinner while Ben and Gwen are one playing a video game and the other looking at her laptop.

"Well, who wants chocolates?" – Max said trying to get the attention of his grandchildren, which he failed to do, I felt a little bad for him, not that much, but seeing him trying without success certainly makes me feel a little bad.

"I wanna!" – I said while raising my hand, unfortunately, I'm still hungry, worms in the marinade don't fill you up and I didn't want to eat sheep's tongue.

"Sure" – Max said as he handed me some chocolates and then tried again, again without success, but getting his grandchildren to talk about him.

"I'll go for a walk, see you Gwen, Haru" – Ben said as he got up and went to the forest. I responded with a farewell gesture with my hands.

"I see that they are already starting to get along." -Max said watching his grandson go to the forest. I just gave him a thumbs up, although he didn't see it because he had his back to me.

From here I can hear the wishes of a cousin towards her cousin...

'So... it won't be long now' – I thought as I raised my gaze to the sky and started to see the stars while I wait.

[Time after]

"And then your grandpa said "I can do it" and he pulled his fishing rod as hard as he could and pulled a huge fish out of the water…" – Max said while I listened attentively.

Right now I'm sitting next to Max while we're watching the campfire, Max is telling me about the trips he took with my grandfather, of course, only the most boring ones. Like the one he's telling me now, the time they caught a huge fish in a lake somewhere. I won't lie, I already forgot that part.

"What's that?" – Gwen said as he left the camper and approached us.

I turn to the direction Gwen is looking and what I see is smoke rising into the sky not far from where we are.

"It looks like it's the start of a forest fire, we better leave the place, maybe a stupid camper started it by lighting a bonfire." – Max said as he turned to see where the smoke could be seen.

"AH?! Ben!" – Max said after remembering that one of his grandchildren is not there.

He quickly pulled out two fire extinguishers and gave one to me. He of course stayed with the other one.

"Take this. "Gwen, you stay here and wait to see if Ben comes back, we will go see if we can find him" – He said and without waiting for a response from his granddaughter he ran away.

"GRANDPA!?" – Gwen shouted, but Max didn't answer her.

"Don't worry, stay here and wait to see if Ben comes back." – I said while I also ran away leaving Gwen alone waiting to see if Ben returns.

"HEY! WAIT!" - I could hear Gwen scream, but I ignored her anyway.

'I didn't expect Max to give me this instead of gwen, but it's also reasonable, I'm supposed to be older than gwen. "Well, ignoring that, I have to find Ben." – I said while he ran.

"One for all 10%" – I said making the one for all light up. My body lit up and small silver lightning bolts began to flash from my body.

'This way I'll find Ben faster' - I thought as I ran at the high speed granted by the one for all.

[Time after]

"Okay, I finally found you" – I murmured as I saw the fire and rock alien not far from me. I turned off the [one for all] and approached quietly.

"TAKE THIS!!" – I screamed while using the fire extinguisher against the alien, I know it's Ben, but take it as my revenge or something, I've been listening to his complaints the whole way and I really need it.

"WAIT WAIT!! IT'S ME!! I AM BEN!!" – The alien shouted while he covered himself with his hands trying to avoid the firefighting foam that I was shooting at him.

"Hmm? Ben? How is that possible? As far as I know, Ben is human, not a thing made of rock and fire." – I said while I stopped shooting the firefighting foam and enjoyed this.

"Well, when I was walking, a meteorite fell from the sky and almost hit me. But it wasn't a meteorite but a satellite and something like a watch jumped out of it and tied itself to my wrist and when I tried to take it off it set me on fire, it didn't hurt when I started this fire." – He said as he explained quickly. I think he told me the same thing he told Gwen in the original. Well, it doesn't matter.

"What strange things you are saying… but, equally strange things have happened to me, so I will believe you." – I said while sighing, because it wasn't a lie, it's the strangest thing anyone has ever said to me.

"Huh? "Do you really believe me?" – He said while he looked at me surprised.

"Yes" – I responded normally, in addition to knowing who he is because he told me and why I already knew, using an evaluative eye his name also appeared, which confirmed that it was Ben.

That appears to me among his other abilities while he is transformed into heatblast, such as his fire manipulation. Also, it's surprising that the rating appears since it usually only shows the level of danger he can represent at his maximum power. I couldn't think anymore because a sudden scream took me out of my thoughts.

"BEN?! "BEN WHERE ARE YOU?!" – I heard Max's screams not far from where we were.

"GRANDPA HERE!! WE ARE HERE!!" – Then Ben also started to scream, but his voice didn't sound at all like when he is human.

"BEN??" – after hearing Ben's scream (heatblast), Max quickly headed towards where we were.

"Haru? "What's going on, where is Ben?" – He said after arriving and seeing me, but then he noticed the Pyronite who was next to me. By the way, surprisingly heatblast is not as hot as it looks, which is why I can be so close without burning alive.

"Mr. Max, this is Ben, somehow he became that" – I told him while he pointed to Ben and he greeted him while saying it was him.

"What? Ben? "How did that happen to you?" – Max asked after listening to what we said.

"Well…" – Ben was going to talk about that, but I cut him off, there is something more important now.

"I don't think it's time to talk, we are literally surrounded by fire." – I said as he pointed around us. – "Well, except Ben who is literally the fire."

Just like in the original, Max had the great idea of a fire on fire and while Ben did it, we ran in the direction we were coming to get out of the way. Not long after, Ben started doing his job and ended up putting out the fire.

'Well, it won't be long before the robots arrive, I want to fight the big robot.' – I thought as I watched the fire finish going out.
