561 Shoot the pig

Halley was not joking about Carolyn shooting the pigs which Scarlet had set aside for the function. Pigs, that been carefully raised and fed on crystal water, herbs, rotting fruit from Lythia's garden and dregs from the four leaf colored plant!!

She was holding a gun and ordering the servants to line them up so that she could aim for the heads.

"You, this crazy bride, put the gun down before I shoot you." She shouted at her sister.

Bang!! The gun went off.

The pigs squealed and some started running around. Scarlet was quick meanwhile to stop the bullet from venturing any further. She stopped it just before it could penetrate the head of one of the pigs.

If the pig had any common sense, it would be trembling and sweating as it sighed in relief because it had just been saved from an untimely death.
