1 Hopeful tommorow!

In a dimly lit room, a man in his 20s was sitting on a chair, with his hands on his phone scrolling.

His black hair and equally black eyes matched the gloomy atmosphere of the room.

Suddenly, the phone in his hand started to ring. Looking at the name on the screen, he made a sad face and answered the call.

"Hello, Dad," Dawn answered in a low voice.

"What are you doing?" came the rough voice of Dawn's father through the phone speaker.

As if Dawn knew about the future and the questions that he was going to face. He made a frustrated face and replied with a plain voice "Nothing."

"Nothing, yeah, right. That's all you are capable of," his father's furious voice came through the speaker, laced with disappointment and a hint of pity.

"You are a failure," Dawn's father spoke in a calm voice after some time and continued his usual rant.

Dawn had gone through this same scenario, only God knows how many times. At this point, he was numb to his father's lectures and taunts; he just wanted to get it over with. Hoping that his father will stop yelling at him.

"Yes, he was a complete and utter failure," Dawn muttered in a low voice while letting out a sigh full of regret.

He brought the phone in front of him and opened the game he played frequently to numb himself from reality.

Dawn liked to play games a lot, especially video games. He started playing because he was bored. However, it turned into a full-blown addiction without him realising.

Dawn loved seeing those numbers going up, the feedback, the reward. He loved everything about the games other than that he didn't care about anything else.

But the game wasn't going to put food on his plate.

"Tomorrow I will try to change for the better," Dawn resolutely said with determination in his eyes. Although he had made countless similar attempts at changing himself, nothing seemed to be going according to his plan.

He thought while still playing the game.

"Damn my body, my life, everything is ruined." He said in a tired voice.

He was suffering from numerous health problems. He wasn't able to digest food properly, his vision was blurry due to constant abuse of the smartphone screen.

Thinking up to this point he almost became depressed.

"Thinking isn't going to solve anything. I will have to do something myself," Dawn thought with some clarity in his mind.

After clearing his thoughts, his chaotic mind settled down and entered a serene state.

"Let's just go to sleep," Dawn decided to sleep for a hopeful tomorrow.

Five minutes after Dawn fell asleep.

Out of thin air, a black shadow appeared in Dawn's Room. The shadow looked at Dawn with its eyes full of resentment and hatefully muttered.

"If I destroy you from every reality, then the Great Seer Athen's vision will never come true."

Suddenly the expression of the black shadow changed, it sensed the presence of The Guardian of this zone rapidly approaching.

"Too late!"

The black shadow quickly launched an attack on the Sleeping Dawn and disappeared.

After 5 minutes a man wearing red armour appeared, he looked at the disfigured body of a human on the bed and sighed.

After giving one last look he too disappeared.
