Rescuing Gaara

Tsunade was at the Hokage's office doing paperwork as usual, when she received a message from Sakura. When she read the message, she got infuriated. Then she rushed to send another team to assist Naruto. Only Gai's team was available. So she sent them to assist Naruto and Kakashi. Gai and team left the village immediately after receiving the Srank mission. Tsunade then returned to her office and thought 'This matter cannot be left as it is. Danzo has pushed too far by colluding with other villages to harm leaf shinobi. Even the advisors are in on it. I hope Naruto can finish the mission without any more problems'.

Meanwhile, Naruto, Kakashi & Granny chiyo were heading to the location to save Gaara. After half a day, they reached to the location where there was a cave sealed. As Naruto learnt a lot of fuinjutsu from Minato, he easily removed the seals. Then the three of them saw Sasori and Deidara. Deidara was holding Gaara on one of his birds. Granny chiyo seeing them shouted "Sasori". Sasori just stood calmly in his puppet. Naruto shouted to Deidara "Give Gaara Back". Deidara laughed and threw Gaara to Naruto. Naruto cought him and found out that Gaara was no longer alive.

Naruto was infuriated seeing Gaara dead and shouted "Akatsuki, you guys won't leave here alive". Deidara laughed and said "You are the ninetails. it is good that you are here, so we don't have to looknfor you". Then he sent some exploding clay birds towards them. Kakashi knew that lightning will stop his explosions as I had explained the powers of most Akatsuki members. So he used 'Chodori Nagashi' and the birds fell down without blowing up. Seeing Deidara's attack fail, Sasori sent puppets after them. Naruto who was angry, just punched the puppets destroying them and attacked Sasori.

He coated his whole body in wind chakra and disappeared and appeared behind Sasori and punched him destroying the puppet Hiruko that he was in. Sasori jumped out of the puppet and stood besides Deidara. Seeing Sasori, Granny chiyo said "Sasori, what happened to you? you have not aged and you are no longer a human". Deidara said "Sasori my man, can't you handle him?" Sasori snorted and sent hundred puppets towards them. Seeing this, Naruto used Kurama chakra mode and swiped all the puppets with a chakra arm and destroyed them.

Kakashi attacked Deidara by activating his sharingan eye. Sasori used his last remaining puppets and attacked Granny chiyo. Naruto seeing this muttered 'Rasenshuriken' and created two Rasenshurikens in both his hands and threw one towards the puppets and another towards Sasori. As the Rasenshurikens hit, the puppets were utterly destroyed and Sasori was flung into the air and with a huge explosion, several needles pierced him. The needles made out of wind chakra also pierced the flesh heart part of Sasori who was a puppet himself and he fell down.

Kakashi was fighting Deidara making his clay useless using his lightning attacks. When Deidara sent clay bugs, Kakashi used lightning needles on them. when he sent huge clay birds, Kakashi used chidori, making them useless. Seeing Sasori defeated, Deidara snorted and took off his Akatsuki robe and started swallowing the remaining clay in with the mouth in his stomach. Seeing Deidara using his final move, Kakashi brought his palms together and activated sage mode, then he sent a lightning blast towards the sky. The sky became dark with black clouds and lightning.

Deidara's body started to expand in size after swallowing the remaining clay. He shouted "Art is an explosion". Kakashi coated his palm with lightning and raised his arm. Then he brought it down saying 'Lightning style-Kirin'. A huge lion with a dragon's head made of lightning fell down from the sky towards the expanding Deidara. As the kirin hit Deidara, he was completely obliterated without even ashes remaining. Only a huge crater remained in his place. Kakashi checked the damage and shook his head saying "That Sasuke created an impressive jutsu. It's good that I learnt it."

Granny chiyo approached Sasori and said "It's over Sasori. Now rest in peace". Sasori smiled and passed away. Kakashi returned to Naruto's side after he finished off Deidara. Naruto looked at Kakashi and said "We couldn't save Gaara Kakashi sensei because we were too late. I'll definitely get Danzo for this". Then he came over near Gaara. At this time, Sakura, along with several sand ninja arrived at the location.

Granny chiyo contemplated a bit and spoke to Naruto " I'm happy that Ninja's like you and Gaara were born in this world created by old fools like us. I'll help Gaara and leave the world in the hands of you yound ones" and placed her hands on Gaara and started using the 'Reanimation Jutsu'. After some time, Naruto went to her and asked if he could help. Chiyo said "Place your hands on mine and lend me some chakra". Naruto did as said and chiyo fell down.

Gaara was in a dark place when he suddenly heard Naruto calling for him. He opened his eyes and saw Naruto and the other sand shinobi cheering for him. Gaara called "Naruto". Temari said "Yes Gaara, he came all the way from the leaf village to save you". Gaara contemplated seeing everyone. Naruto then said "They are all here for you Gaara. You are not alone". Gaara nodded and tried to get up, but he couldnt. Naruto helped him up and said "You were dead when we arrived. That Granny used a Reanimation jutsu and brought you back to life".

Gaara looked at her and said everybody to bow to her sacrifice. At this time, Gai's team arrived and Kakashi explained all that happened to Gai. Gai then said "So, we came here for nothing". Kakashi gave an eye smile towards Gai and all of them went back to the sand village. At the sand village entrance, everyone were waiting for the return of the Kazekage and they all cheered simultaneously. Naruto was happy for Gaara seeing this. Then everyone mourned for the death of Granny Chiyo and they went into the sand village.
