6 Premeditated encounter

A dozen hours ago.

Inside the well-known club, several teenagers played cards and chatted in a private room. At the centre, a boy talked passionately about his latest shenanigans. Jack smiled, pretending that he was listening. He didn't like them but had to mix with them to connect with their families. He came today mainly after hearing the Haily family's heir visit this club.

His final goal was to approach the young master of the Lohrasb family. Even though his family was wealthy, he could not register for the Esther Academy. It was a mysterious prestigious school on the capital's outskirts where only gifted students and heirs of powerful families could enter. Jack was ambitious enough to step on his pride and flatter every influential person to help him enter the academy. He discovered that these two people were first-year students, and their parents connected with the school. He looked at the door so he wouldn't miss them. He never met them, but he did see their photos. He heard Desmond Haily was a silly, impulsive kid that only Edwin Lohrasb could handle.

His friend kept chatting when Desmond showed up at the club. He was a six-foot-tall guy with brown eyes and dyed red hair. His wild and rebellious character manifested itself at every step. Jack neither stared at him nor went near him. He had planned on playing a pitiful boy who was a victim of thugs near Desmond's car. This was Desmond's chance to be a hero who helped the distressed damsel. He texted the thug boss so he could be ready. First, he should be noticed in this room by Desmond, so he skillfully provoked an old feud between two boys sitting next to him. They began to fight with one another, and in trying to separate them, he was repelled by a strong force and his sudden cries were heard by everyone there. His job had been done.

Desmond saw it but didn't come to his aid. It was a natural reaction, but if he saw him again in that situation and didn't help him, the guilt would be greater than the first time. Eventually, he'd bite the hook. His friend helped him walk to another place in the room. Once both troublemakers were escorted, everyone acted as if nothing happened.

Desmond wasn't in the mood. After leaving the café, he returned home and was preached to by his parents for an hour about his neglect of Edwin. Luckily, Edwin was hanging out with someone. That's why he was out of the woods. He showed up at the club with his gang to improve his mood but was set up. He drank his beer and rose to leave.

" Boss, where are you going? I heard that Sydney and her friends would come here to celebrate her admittance to the academy."

Desmond paused to look at him with questioning. He yanked his shirt aggressively and said.

"Are you stupid? How many girls could you see in this room? If they do, they won't enter here. Who put you up to this? "

The boy trembled and raised his hands with a plea.

" Amy told me. I was snooping around them, and she pulled me back into the corner and wanted me to let you know."

Desmond thought the whole thing was ridiculous. Why lure him here? He stopped thinking about it, and he left the club.

This whole racket hadn't gone through without Jack noticing. He snuck out and got to their designated location.

Desmond attempted to call Edwin to complain about his stupid gangs but failed. He started cursing his friend for ignoring him when he overheard someone screaming for help. He approached and saw the same young man being bullied again.

'What the hell is going on? His luck is even worse than mine.'

He had some pent-up anger to release, so he attacked those people furiously. His combat skills have been refined through his continued use from his childhood. In no time, they were all down. Desmond lent a hand to the scared boy to stand up.

"Aw, aw, I think I've hurt my leg."

Jack whined at him. Desmond had goosebumps as he heard his voice.

'Is he not a boy? Why is he talking like a defenceless girl? '

Desmond couldn't comprehend it. Around him were all macho brothers who believed having scars were showing toughness. Even Edwin and Kaveh weren't this way.

When he recalled Kaveh, he suddenly felt sorrow. Helping the boy to get to the hospital would give him an excuse to see him.

With determination, he carried him behind his back to his car.

Jack was celebrating his success in his head. He was unaware that Desmond had no interest in him. As they made their way to the hospital, it was an accident. Due to traffic, by the time they arrived at the hospital, it was midnight. Visiting hours, he had passed. Desmond was frustrated with that. He wanted to leave, but the boy began to cry and beg for his stay. He told him he was scared to death and that his family would be angry when they saw him in this situation. Desmond noticed the critical gaze of nurses and other people, so he unwittingly accepted.

He did not want to listen to the boy anymore and slept on a folding bed.

Jack was pretty upset. According to his investigation, Desmond was eager to please the beauties. Everyone at the academy knew he protected a scholarship holder because of his pretty face. He wanted an ambitious relationship with him to receive a referral from his family and test the waters with Edwin. He should come up with another plan sooner rather than later.

The following morning, Desmond was preparing to leave the hospital. He was surprised to find Edwin and another guy at the reception. He subconsciously hid behind a wall and followed them. He was curious as to who this boy was who could bring Edwin to see his brother after a year. He was among the few who knew that Edwin had never visited the hospital to see Kaveh. He never asked what had happened, as he was confident that Edwin would never have left his brother alone in danger. He didn't want to accept the loss of his childhood friends, so his rebellion worsened in the last year.

Desmond was shocked by Edwin's intimate relationship with this young man.

This boy embraced Edwin, who was famous for his aversion to close contact with outsiders. And why did Edwin seem to be as meek as a lamb?

Desmond figured meeting Edwin after his visit wasn't a good idea. He slipped away without any noise. However, Noah watched with questioning his departure. Desmond's way of spying on them was so messy that he spotted him quickly. So he was sure he was no threat to them. Noah didn't think about it anymore and put it away.

Desmond was immersed in his thoughts when a fist came from nowhere. He avoided it out of instinct. In front of him was a muscular teenage boy with yesterday evening's boy with an erroneous expression. Desmond's lost it.

"Is that how you pay me back after helping you out last night?"

Jack was cursing Liam in his head. He had no idea how he discovered it. In the morning, he entered his room and questioned why he had not contacted him. He just told him he got help from a gentleman. Liam got angry and wanted him to discharge as soon as possible. But Jack wanted to stay in the hospital to continue his plan. They began to quarrel until Liam exploded and screamed.

"Did you think I didn't know it was your trick?"

Liam felt cheated. This morning he went to the gym like every day and met an acquaintance there. He inquired about Jack and his plan. Liam felt covered in cold water. He rushed into the hospital and still had not received his explanation. He left the room and caught sight of the young master of the Haily family. He never mentioned to Jack that his mother was an illegitimate daughter of Desmond's grandfather. His mother's humiliation in the Zhang family was a significant part of his hatred towards Desmond. The constant comparisons his repulsive grandpa made between them were the other half. The Zhang family was a branch of the Lohrasb family. That's why his mother didn't break ties with them.

He lost his mind and threw a punch at him. Due to the turmoil they caused, the security guards escorted them outside the hospital. Jack tried to appease both of them, but it was like adding fuel to the fire. They've started getting physical.

Dena was stunned by the scene. She was facing a hundred meters away from them.
