5 Chapter 05; A train accident...

Zhao Bao leaped up from his seat, pacing back and forth, he took his phone from the desk and dialed his Uncle Zhao Zheng's number, after two rings the phone was answered.

"Hello Uncle... was there a train accident last night?" he inquired, worried, his palms were already sweaty from nervousness, he paced inside his office, he felt it was too hot, and tugged off his tie, adjusting AC.

" Yes, there was... there are currently no train operations." Zhao Zheng answered the phone call when he saw it was Zhao Bao calling, replied to him politely.

" Where are the survivors of the accident?" he inquired.

" Southern District Level Four General Hospital, what's the matter? you sound worried.!" he responded curiously wondering why the inquiry.

"Last night, Zhao Ting took that train to the village, which is the said train that got into an accident, because the time matches and which is very coincidental.." he politely responded.

" Alright... you should go and check her out in the Southern District Hospital, if you don't find her, then check out in the morgue, but there are corpses here that haven't been identified yet." Zhao Zheng politely responded.

" All right.... thank you Uncle." he hung up the phone and dialed his bodyguard's number.

"Ling Hua... I want you to go to the General Hospital Level Four, and look for Zhao Ting, send other men to look for her at the train station, and let them comb everywhere until they find her dead or alive," he ordered as he hung up the phone, his entire body tensed up.

He couldn't sit still, his mind racing, filled with different kinds of thoughts and possibilities, and all kinds of emotions swirled around him, even if he never liked her, that didn't mean they weren't siblings!

He sat down to wait for the news, but he just couldn't focus. He just sat there staring into space, out of his office window. it was a french window, floor to ceiling, giving out a good view, but this time he couldn't enjoy nor like the view.

In the Hong Mansion, Hong Feng punched the wall several times forcefully, the hand bled, but he didn't feel any pain, how could it be compared to the pain he felt in his heart?

He plopped down on his bed, tears streaming down his cheeks, and little by little, he broke down, he didn't know what to do, how can he like her, he couldn't even save her! he didn't deserve her, He was unworthy of her.

He picked up his phone and dialed his Uncle's number, who is a major General in the Southern District branch Military Camp, he was the last born son of Old Master Hong, he was still young in his late twenties, and hadn't married yet, but he had risen to his rank at such a young age because he was hardworking and resilient. he was very intelligent and astute.

"Hello Uncle Lin," he greeted him politely.

"Hello there Hong Feng, what is the problem??" he inquired concerned, this is the first time his nephew has given him a phone call, and he could hear his shaking voice.

"Where did the train accident survivors get admitted in??" Hong Feng inquired worriedly.

" Ohh... they are at the Southern District Level Four Hospital. Why??" Hong Lin inquired, concerned.

" I have a friend who took the same train yesterday..." he explained.

" Ohh.. they all are in Level Four except for the ones who didn't survive, but they were all placed in the morgue Level Four." he politely responded.

"Okay.... thank you, Uncle," he said as he hung up the phone.

Hong Lin frowned at the darkened phone screen, suspecting that this little nephew of his wasn't being truthful.

He sighed lightly, as he returned to his work, gently rubbing his cold hands.

Hong Feng paced back and forth, unsure of who he could entrust this search to! In his room, he was lost in thoughts.

"Dad... am returning to the company." Hong Ling said as he stood up, he had a lot of files laying there on his desk unattended.

" All right... keep your anger and emotions in check, and don't take it out on everyone. " Old Master Hong warned him lightly.

" Thank you Dad... " he said as he exited the sitting room, approaching the entrance door, he motioned the chauffeur to drive him to the Company.

Old Master Hong returned to his bedroom to have a rest, as he was easily tired due to his poor health.

Hong Feng grabbed a cardigan, a wallet, and his phone before heading down the stairs to find his mother coming in.

"Son... why are you home right now? shouldn't you still be in school?" she politely inquired.

" Mom... how come I didn't see any magazines yesterday?" He questioned, his eyes narrowed.

" Why do you ask? All you have to do is focus and concentrate on your studies!" Ma Yu Xi'an Mrs. Hong, retorted back, looking sideways as if she didn't want their gazes to meet.

"Mom.. so you knew? how could you be so self-centered? I could have saved her at the perfect moment! But, Mom... you ruined this one chance for me, I could have saved her." Hong Feng lost all his cool as he yelled.

" Who are you yelling at? just because of that promiscuous girl? she is so filthy and revolting." Ma Yu Xi'an snorted coldly.

"Moom... show her the respect she deserves, I am very sure she is not that kind of a girl.!" Hong Feng retaliated back against his Mother.

Ma Yu Xi'an raised her hand and slapped heavily across his face, causing his lip to slit. it bled slowly, blood dripping, the visible handprint on his face didn't do justice to his beautiful, gorgeous, and handsome appearance.

He was surprised as he stared at her mother, startled, this was the first time that his mother slapped him so hard.

He raised his hand and rubbed the blood that was dripping from his lip off by the back of his hand, his eyes had turned bloody red, and visibly, veins popped, on his forehead, as he tried to contain his anger and rage that was threatening to explode.
