4 Chapter 04; What a shameless family...

Hong Feng just stood there paralyzed, lashes fell on his back until his back split, dying his white school shirt red. Today it seems Hong Ling was in a terrible mood, and he was looking for an outlet to vent his anger.

"Hong Ling, that's enough... Hong Feng goes to your room" Old Master Hong said coldly.

When the Old Master spoke up, Hong Ling stopped beating his son, and he threw the belt onto the couch, pacing back and forth.

Hong Feng dashed upstairs, to his bedroom, one hand holding a cardigan, and another hand supporting his back bag which dangled from his shoulder.

"Stop..! stop...!" you are making me dizzy with your pacing! what's the problem with you? I have never seen you this angry." Old Master Hong reprimanded him.

"Father.... we are being sabotaged by I don't know who, in our Real Estate project, in Woodland City." Hong Ling explained

"Why are you getting so worked up? Don't you realize this is the age when teenagers become rebellious? can't you differentiate between work and home?" Hong Liu inquired coldly.

He was the retired Old Master who built Hong Corporation from the ground up to the top of the pyramid it is now, he was a canny and witty old man from all the experiences he has got, dealing with businesses.

He was in his seventies but looked young and energetic. looking through the rimmed glasses, his eyes were sharp, he could tell a person by just one look.

"Am sorry Father... I lost my composure." Hong Ling responded as he sat down on the couch, shaking his legs.

Hong Feng's room was painted grey cream themed color, which gave off a cold vibe, and a masculine scent was all over the room, making it appear more enchanting and still as water.

It felt like mysteries lay between these four walls. The Hong family Mansion was big enough and could accommodate several family members during the festive season or visits, but now only the first in line lived here with the Old patriarch.

The other parts of the mansion were the all-warm color theme, you could see the exquisite interior design, and the authentic Paintings hanging on the wall, the entire place stood on a large piece of land, and the house was worth a billion dollars.

The vases that adorned the entire sitting room, were authentic, and expensive, and they belonged to the Qing Dynasty, so he had purchased and acquired the majority of them at an auction.

Hong Feng dropped his school bag on the bedroom sofa, changed out of his school uniform, took a shower, and applied the cream to his wounds.

"Ouch..." he felt pain when his finger brushed against the wound, and his eyes turned icy cold.

He took his phone out of the drawer and went online to check if there was a train going to Kashanon, but all that he found was this;

"The train was involved in an accident last evening when it was on its way to Kashanon, so there are no train operations until further notice. "

Hong Feng paled, " How could this be possible? how could it? why is everything going against me? why am I always this late? isn't this the said train she took yesterday!" he slapped his chest angrily, releasing out his pent-up emotions.

He dialed Zhao Bao's number, and it was answered after two rings, he could hear a cello magnetic voice from the other end.

"Hello, this is Zhao Bao speaking...." He answered the call after seeing it was a new number, he leaned back on his seat comfortably, relaxing.

"This Hong Feng speaking.... where is Zhao Ting??" he inquired politely but one could hear his shaking voice.

"She'd gone to the Village, she will stay there with Auntie for a few years, to reflect on her wrongdoings." Zhao Bao replied emotionlessly.

He knew Hong Feng from the Hong Corporation as the next heir of the Hong Corporation, so he ought to be polite to him, The Zhao Corporation was far beneath the Hong Corporation.

" How could you guys have done that? did you check out the authenticity of the photographs posted in the magazines and where did they come from? did you have to condemn her without any valid or solid evidence?" He questioned coldly.

" Her pictures were all over the magazines, isn't that proof enough? what kind of other evidence do you want to see?" He responded coldly.

" You just charged her guilty just from those few pictures posted on the magazines that came from God knows where? you didn't even look into it? you people are extremely selfish, or is it a matter of inheritance?" Hong Feng inquired coldly.

" You have no right to question me about our family matters, whatever happens in our family is our own business, got that?" Zhao Bao responded coldly.

"All right, what time did she take the train?" he toned down as he inquired.

"It was the evening train... why?" he explained, inquiring.

"Do you know that that train was involved in an accident last night? There are few survivors and several people have been severely injured. Do you know that others can't be found or identified?" he stood up and began pacing back and forth, anger building up.

" Wait, What? What are you talking about? What are you trying to say? Why am I not understanding you!" Zhao Bao inquired his voice panicked.

"You are not even aware of that! what a shameless family, you only care about benefits, but that's a person, a life, no matter what mistake she committed, she is still a Zhao," he responded coldly as he hung up the phone.

"Aaarrgghhh..." he yelled, as he punched the wall forcefully.
