World 4.2

The small glint of light made his eyelids twitch as it slowly squinted. He groaned and tried to move his body. He rolled on the other side and found out that he was under a thick blanket. The feeling of being suffocated crawled into his system, which made him uncomfortable. Riri opened one of his eyes and, as expected, he's indeed under a blanket. 

The first thing he did was to push his head upward, but even if he did it, the thick blanket never left him. It made him more irritated, so he used his hands. But instead of moving, Riri was stunned. There were white furry paws stretching in front of his eyes. "Ehh---Whaa--" Riri was taken aback, there was no voice coming from his throat.

[Ehh?!!! What is this?? What is happening?!]

Before he could make another move, the blanket covering him lifted up. The bright sun's rays finally hit his eyes, which almost blinded him.

"Good morning..Oh? I'm sorry, I should have checked on you the moment you shifted back" 

[S-Shifted back?!]

Riri felt his body elevating from the soft bed. Then he felt these warm hands holding him. He tried to struggle, but he couldn't let himself go. 'What is happening to me? Why do I feel like I'm so small?' he thought. The floor was too high for him, even if he was being lifted. 

[Wait, why am I being lifted anyway?]

'DING!'

The hologram showed in front of his eyes, glowing blue and forming letters.

'ARTEMIAN: Human shape shifter. The host is a Rabbein class, half rabbit and half baby dragon. Artemians were blessed under the power of the Moon God and have a strong mana supply in their bodies. You will shift back to human when the moon comes out again. You are a Rabbein by day.' 

[Ehh??!!! So that means??!!!]

It was too late to react because Riri's eyes were now glued to the round mirror in front of him that almost dropped his jaw. The male who took him from the bed placed him on a soft square pillow with an elegant design. It was on the table in front of a mirror, so Riri could see a full view of his appearance.

A medium size furry ball. White and turning light silver blue when hit by a light. A chubby cheek and round blue eyes with a yellow circle around the pupils. He had long ears and two fox-like tails. His paws were also round, with pink pads and black sharp nails bouncing between his soft fur. Riri parted his lips. There he saw two sharp fangs and whiskers beside his mouth. 

[Eeehhh??!!!! Is this me?!!!!]

DICCU: Yes, it's you

[I'm so cute!!! I'm melting Diccu]

In his excitement, Riri jumped and tossed around on that soft pillow while exclaiming how cute he was in his thoughts. 

"Excited, I see" 

Riri froze and flapped back on the pillow, realizing that he's not the only one there. He felt a warm palm brushing his head. When he felt his head lighten, he lifted his eyes and saw a handsome man smiling at him. A handsome man with a fine body physic. Hazel brown eyes and thin lips. Red long hair, shoulder length. Tied in a messy bun. He's wearing a knight's uniform with a black cloak half on his shoulders. 

"Good morning, how's your ankle?" Upon saying this, he lifted Riri's fluffy legs and inspected it before letting go. "I guess it healed overnight. Artemians are indeed amazing" 

The furry creature in front of him tilted its head and raised one of its ears. Showing a puzzled look. The knight quickly got what the Artemian wanted to say, so he kneeled down. "Pardon my rudeness, I am Cain, the Royal Prince's Knight. I am here to check on you," he said.

Since Riri can't speak in this form, he just nodded his head. 'I hope he'll get what I wanted to say,' he thought to himself while looking at Cain with his round blue eyes.

"Are you hungry? The maids of the palace choose the fine grasses and fruits for you," Cain said with a smile as he lifted the pillow with Riri. He pressed the Artemian on his stomach for support, "Don't worry, the Prince told me to take care of you while he's out for a hunt, he will be here later to see you," then they trudged outside the wide room.

'Ahhh...I'm so full!! I didn't know that grasses taste so good'

Riri rolled down on his soft pillow after munching the last piece of green grass from his plate. He had Cain feeding him. He never thought in his entire life that grasses taste good and sweet. The servants said that it was picked very carefully just for him. 

After cleaning the table, Cain picked him up and brought him to the palace garden. Since it was guarded very well, he let Riri go on the wide grassland. 

For the very first time, Riri felt that everything was too big for him. The flowers and the green plants blooming beautifully around the gardens seem like trees to him. He's also having difficulty in walking and running. He felt like this place was totally endless.

[Hey Diccu, How am I supposed to break the Prince's relationship if I am like this?]

DICCU: you are cute in that state

[You're not giving me a proper answer]

He lay down and looked at the setting sun. He got so excited about his new appearance that he didn't even realize that he'd been enjoying all day from the moment he woke up. Cain is kind. He's giving him the proper care and gentleness. 

'The sun is already getting down. Am I going to shift back as a human?' Riri released a sigh while staring at the sky. The clouds moved slowly, turning every part to dandelion. The grasses taller than him swayed with the chilly air passing by. From the grass, he saw a silhouette of a handsome face. It was Cain, looking down on him.

"Are you tired already?" The knight picked him up. "If you're tired, we can head inside. The night is about to show up and you're going back to your human form." He gave Riri a pat on the head as they strode the pathway. "Let's go, the Prince will be here sooner,"
