World 3.11

"Is he awake?" 

Soheun's eyes widened like it poured cold water into him. His brain malfunctioned upon hearing that question. He turned, frozen, but quickly spread his arms to block the male. "Not now!" he exclaimed.

Taehyun, who was standing in front of him, didn't look surprised anymore. He was expecting this. "Why?" he asked. "I just wanted to talk to him," he reasoned out. 

Meanwhile, Soheun's still thinking of an excuse. If the two will meet in the future, this is not the right time. Tae Jun just woke up and he still didn't have enough strength for the confrontation to take place. He needed to rest to gain everything back. 

"Why won't you let me through?" Taehyun tried to take empty space on the right side of the male, but the man moved. It made him agitated. "What is wrong with you?" he asked. 

Soheun hugged the male again and pleaded. "I'm really sorry if I couldn't visit you last night. I will take care of you today, so please go home with me," he caressed the male's hair like he was begging to be listened.

His words can't reach Taehyun anymore. Before Soheun realized what he was doing the whole time, Jinli felt it. The male standing in front of him was not the old Taehyun anymore. He will never try to break him again and hold him like he was being chained. 

Though it's sad, Taehyun knew that Soheun was doing all of this, not because of him, but because of his twin brother. He brushed the man's back before parting from his hug. Taehyun lifted his head and faced the man. "Soheun," there was a heavy tone in his voice. He managed to stop the tension by squeezing the man's sleeves. "Let's stop everything here, shall we?" 

Soheun's pupils elated as it lightened up the expression on his face. Although he was still shocked, he couldn't help but feel the needle in his chest slowly vanishing away. The quiet atmosphere fell into them. Both were thinking about what to say.

"Soheun," 

Taehyun smiled. He wanted it to happen, but it feels like his heart was being crushed into pieces. "You can move now, you don't need to stay in my place...I can take care of my own," he uttered.

Before a tear slid down from his cheeks, Taehyun forcefully pushed the other male and made his way to the hallways with his heavy footsteps. He wanted to be alone for now. 

And usually, just like a knight, Soheun turned around and was about to chase him when a hand stopped him. "Let him be," Doctor Shin said.

Then the latter realized that he was no longer connected to the male. He felt his chains being torn away from Taehyun's touch. He can't no longer comfort the male in times like this. Somehow, in the very corner of his heart, there was pity for Taehyun. 

"He was all alone now," he whispered.

Their mother died in a car crash with Taehyun, but only the male survived. Because of that, their father blamed him for his wife's death. He said some hurtful words towards Taehyun. Since Taehyun was the only one involved. His father didn't change towards Tae Jun. Because Tae Jun was the best picture of a perfect son, their father cherished him so much. Their mother was the only one who's always at Taehyun's side when she's alive. It must be very hard for the male to endure everything. That's when he started to feel jealous and turned psychotic.

Recalling what happened, Soheun couldn't help but feel sorrowful.

After realizing that he was now away from the male, he finally released the sobs he was holding back earlier. He found himself in the hospital garden under the same tree he saw that day. He slid down on the grass, clenching his chest. 

The sobs between his breaths turned heavier after recalling his last words to Soheun. He wasn't his in the first place. He just wants love and affection. No, he just wants revenge on his twin brother. That's all he wanted.

[This is the part of my plan, but I feel my heart crashing]

DICCU: You need to bear it even if it hurts so much 

[I know, I still can't believe that I am the home wrecker in this world]

DICCU: I can't be help 

Under that tree, Taehyun cried and cried until he got no more tears left. Then, after that, he stood up and picked up his things. He'll never ask Soheun to drive him home. He can just take a cab and rest upon reaching home. 

He exited the hospital and waited for a taxi. It was his first time, and he almost forgot that he was a celebrity, so he needed to be careful alone. 'I know this will never be easy, but I need to hang up,' he mumbled in his thoughts. 

"Taehyun!" 

Before his very eyes, a figure appeared in front of him. He was gasping for air as he bent a little to breathe in and out. Taehyun wasn't expecting that Soheun would chase him until here. "What is wrong with you?!" he exclaimed. 

Soheun gasped. "I-I-I'm s-sorry, I know that y-you don't know h-how to take a cab," He finally uttered some words. "I will drive you h-home," he then showed the car key from his index finger. 

His words made Taehyun snort, "What are you talking about? I'm not a kid anymore! I can go home on my own," he pouted. 

Soheun was surprised by his reaction, so he stood straight and patted Taehyun's head. "Stubborn as ever," he said.

That warm pat from the male delivered a small emotion towards Taehyun, but this time, it's not love or revenge. It was like he found someone he can trust behind what happened in the past. More like an understanding friend.

Taehyun slapped the man's arms. "Don't get too cocky, I can drive a car alone!" he exclaimed.
