World 2.13

"Uhh...This is a bit frustrating…"

Wei Shin uttered after getting another bouquet of scented flowers the moment he opened his eyes. This was the third day and just by looking at it, no wonder only a royal could buy such an expensive thing.

"It seems like you're a bit off today"

Qi Feng commented after noticing the scowled on Wei Shin's face. They're on their way to the library after finishing breakfast.

The male half smiled "Am I? Sorry for that…" he replied

Qi Feng stopped halfway which made Wei Shin pause "Why don't we go to the Prince's archery practice today?" He said with a beaming smile

"No, don't wanna" 

Qi Feng jolted "Ehh? Why? Why? Why?!" He asked

DICCU: Aren't you acting like a spoiled brat right now?

[Don't care, If Zi Yuzuo likes me he should stop delivering flowers to me every morning secretly...he's a man! He should confess to me]

DICCU: How are you so sure that it was him?

[It's expensive and he's rich]

"I kinda feel like reading books today" Wei Shin replied back which made Qi Feng scratch his head.

The truth is, he was planning to stay in the library all day. Because he wanted Zi Yuzuo to find him and miss him and confess to him. He will sit there and read 24 hours even if the books about histories are kinda boring for him.

Wei Shin can roam around the palace freely because Zi Yuzuo gave him an authorization key pass, he will just show it to the palace guards to grant some permission. Besides, Xiao Zhen didn't bother and pester him anymore, his life was going smoothly. 

[I will finish this mission in a very simple way]

"Qi Feng! Can you wait for me outside?" He blurted when they reached the library entrance

The man showed a puzzled face "But the Prince ordered me to be by your side?" Qi Feng hesitated

"Don't worry! No one was there except me, I will be fine.." Wei Shin smiled as he pat the male's shoulder

Qi Feng flinched as he started imagining Zi Yuzuo's glaring eyes to him just because he let Wei Shin go inside alone, it's bringing him goosebumps. 

"W-Well..I will just wait outside..if you need something just yell back at me.." he replied

Wei Shin nodded in agreement and headed inside like lightning. 

He started to gather different books from different shelves.

DICCU: Jinli? Are you really going to read that all? 

[Nope! These books are so boring to read]

DICCU: Then what are you gonna do with that?

[Ehehe...I'm going to sleep]

Wei Shin slowly put the group of books on the table, he picked up the ones with pictures and the ones without. He doesn't really read, he just looks at the pictures before yawning. Because Qi Feng wasn't on his side, no one will notice him.

He will do it until he falls asleep.

And he was not mistaken because he literally fell asleep. Wei Shin woke up with the books he piled up earlier. His eyelids were still heavy and sleepy. He was planning on taking a second nap when a shadow hovered beside him.

He blinked a few times, the shadow was a man. "Qi Feng…?" He mumbled

No one was there and no one had the right to enter the private library except him and Qi Feng. Well, it doesn't matter anymore since the royal commander was also going along with his antics.

"Did you take a liking to him that you'll see him even in your dreams?"

The voice was deep and mellow. Wei Shin quickly felt the shivers crawl down to his spine. He knew this voice and he could feel his cold eyes towards his back. 

He quickly jolted up and slowly turned his head. He met Zi Yuzuo's flaming red crimson eyes. He was stunned like a stone slowly cracking.

"I'm not dreaming, right?" He mumbled, unaware of himself

Zi Yuzuo smirked "What do you think, Shin?" There was something in his tone like if you reply the wrong answer you will lose your head right here right now.

Wei Shin jolted and lowered his head "I'm very sorry, master!" He apologized "This slave asks for forgiveness.." he added

Zi Yuzuo leaned his elbow on the table and cupped his chin "Well...I guess I will forgive you today…" he glanced at Qi Feng who was now at the corner inches from them "But I will not forgive this one for neglecting his duty" his cold voice delivered shivers to Qi Feng

Wei Shin cracked again "Ehh?!" He exclaimed "B-But master! It was all my fault!...I will gladly accept any punishment" he demanded

From the shelves, Zi Yuzuo turned his gaze back to Wei Shin "Interesting…" he replied "Anything? You say" he half smirked

Wei Shin was confident enough to say that since he knew that Zi Yuzuo would never do something funny or vulgar to him.

"Wei Shin your nose!!" Qi Feng sprang up 

Only Wei Shin realized that there was something from his nose, he wiped it and saw his own blood. "A nosebleed?" He asked himself

His heart suddenly jolted which made him clenched his chest. His breathing started to feel heavy and the air inside him was so stiff.

He was deafened, there were buzzing sounds in his ears and he felt like he was turning around. 

Wei Shin coughed, it was blood. The books on the table was now covered in red substance from him.

He tried to gasped but no air was flowing inside him. If Zi Yuzuo and Qi Feng was calling him, he couldn't hear it. He tigtened the grasp on his chest and punched himself but it feels like he was drowning onto numbness.

[What's happening to me? I can't breath! My eyes are hurting and I couldn't feel myself]

Darkness corrupted his eyes like he was twirling around. 

Wei Shin fell down but quickly caught by Zi Yuzuo who was actually calling his name over and over again.

[What is this? I feel like dying…]

"Call the royal physician!!!"

"Carried him back! Quickly!"

Heavy footsteps rumbled in the quiet hallway. Everyone was alert and was ordered to find any clue from Wei Shin's sudden condition.

Meanwhile, in the shady trees not far away from the library. There was a black shadow resting on it's strong branches. It was like watching the Prince and his people from afar. 

It smirked and said " It was so simple…" then the birds flew away as it vanished into thin air.
