World 1.9

The sun was shining very bright like Qui Yuan's smile. He was full of positive energy when he reached the School.

"Yow!" Min Jiwoo waved his hands towards the male, he was waiting for him in the School Gate. Qui Yuan drew a smile but was taken aback when he saw the most fearsome creature he didn't want to see early in the morning.

Qui Yuan stopped, his heart pondered in nervousness. He gulped the saliva in his throat. He was glued to his stance in a minute so Min Jiwoo together with Jiang Rui decided to approach him.

"I was calling you, What's wrong Yuan?" Min Jiwoo wrapped his arms around the male's shoulders

Qui Yuan jolted in surprise so he took a step away from the two "I-I need to g-go to the l-library!! P-Please go on w-w-without me!!" he exclaimed and then he vanished in a minute

At lunchtime, Qui Yuan did not go to the cafeteria, he ate in the School garden alone while enjoying the view of the flowering plants next to the bench he was sitting on. He knew this would happen, so he prepared himself before going to School.

He didn't want to do this every day, but this was the temporary solution he thought of to avoid Jiang Rui. He knew the man had not yet confessed about how he felt about him but things shouldn't be complicated right now.

"Asking someone on a date is like confessing to someone.." he mumbled to himself under the shady tree

DICCU: How long will you hide? Don't you think that it will help your mission?

[But Diccu!!! It's impossible for a fujoshi like me!!]

DICCU: Jinli, you are pressuring yourself too much

[Am I?]

DICCU: Yes, If you don't do the mission properly, you may face some danger in the future...remember that this is not your world

[Dang! I know! I know!]

Qui Yuan took three deep breaths, inhaled and exhaled. He stood up "Okay!! I'm going on a date with him!" he exclaimed

"Who's going on a date?"

His head turned left slowly like a robot, he saw Min Jiwoo there.

"Where have you been? And why are you avoiding me?" he asked as he took the empty space on the bench. Qui Yuan sat down, lowering his head. "M-Min Jiwoo" he uttered

Min Jiwoo also lowered his head "What is it?" he asked

Qui Yuan bit his lower lip "Is it okay if I ask some advice from him?" he thought. He fidget his fingers continuously to lessen his nervousness but Min Jiwoo noticed it so he asked the other male once more.

The two of them ended up talking about it the whole lunch break. Qui Yuan only trusts Min Jiwoo and he was the only one he can tell about his problem. Min Jiwoo laughed at him the whole time by finding how scared and nervous he was just because Jiang Rui asked him out.

"Yuan, you are so pathetic!" then he giggled again

Qui Yuan crossed his arms "I told you to stop mocking me, you're not helping at all!" he snorted

The other male paused, wiping the tears of joy from his eyes "Yuan, I can help you in many ways" he said

Qui Yuan's eyes widened in surprise "Really?!" he exclaimed "Then, Please help me!!!" his eyes were beaming in happiness

"Heh.." Min Jiwoo moved until their shoulders touched, he swiftly cupped Qui Yuan's cheeks and then he locked his eyes on the male "Try to date me instead.." then he smirked

[What?!]

"You useless jerk!!!"

Jiang Rui was thrown on the muddy ground. He groaned when a kick landed to his stomach, causing him to curl in agony.

"I told you that I hate useless pawns like you!!"

Jiang Rui stayed silent, he couldn't talk back but he knew that they would not believe him.

"You are just going to seduce him!! You prick!!" their leader snarled once more. He crouched down and clenched Jiang Rui's cheeks with anger "If you can't do what I wanted I'm going to tell him about what you did" he threatened before letting go

The rest of them laughed out, then before walking away, their leader mumbled some words "Don't forget that it's your fault that he got into that accident.."

Jiang Rui was left there, after taking all his money from his income they also ripped all of his School books and scattered it on the ground. He had nothing left.

When he regained his strength back, he managed to stand up and gather the things he can still use. He walked home with his knees trembling in pain. While walking on the streets, the people were staring at him with a confused look, no one dared to ask and help him.

Jiang Rui suddenly felt something inside his chest, it was hurting him. The burden inside him became more heavy and he didn't even notice the welling group of tears coming from his eyes.

Of all those people around him, there is only one person he wished to see right now.

He knew that it was impossible for him to be loved by this person, but even though it will become like this, he still wishes to see and hug him right now.

Jiang Rui 's eyes were blurry and he was so lost in thoughts. If he is going to cross the street, he will not care anymore even if a truck hits him and takes his life.

His body started to give up, the wounds and bruises were throwing so much pain to him. His head, which was hit by a bat, was continuously bleeding.

The things he was holding slowly slipped away from his arms, his knees became weak. Jiang Rui's body fell.

He didn't know if he hit the ground or it was just because he thought that he was going to die. But a warm embrace welcomed him fully, with a buzzing sound of calling his name over and over again.

Jiang Rui's lips uttered a name, the name of the person he wanted to see.

"Y-Yuan.."
