38 38) The Announcement 2

Albus discreet gaze lifted from the figure of Severus Prince but his thoughts didn't.

He was the Chief Warlock and Headmaster of Hogwarts, when the name on the registers of Hogwarts changed from Severus Snape to Severus Prince, it signified him that the boy had gained his House's Heirship.

Albus was infact happy for the boy as it will keep him busy with his newfound family and its fortune. As much as he wanted to admit that Severus Snape or Prince now was a very powerful and skilled wizard, he couldn't simply overlook his alignments and his house.

Peer pressure was a dangerous thing to a teenager.

The pressure to conform (to do what others are doing) can be powerful and hard to resist. A person might feel pressure to do something just because others are doing it (or say they are). Peer pressure can influence a person to do something that is relatively harmless — or something that has more serious consequences. Giving in to the pressure to dress a certain way is one thing — going along with the crowd to drink or smoke and bully people was another.

People may feel pressure to conform so they fit in or are accepted, or so they don't feel awkward or uncomfortable. When people are unsure of what to do in a social situation, they naturally look to others for cues about what is and isn't acceptable.

The people who are most easily influenced will follow someone else's lead first. Then others may go along, too — so it can be easy to think, "It must be OK. Everyone else is doing it. They must know what they're doing." Before you know it, many people are going along with the crowd — perhaps on something they might not otherwise do.

Responding to peer pressure is part of human nature — but some people are more likely to give in, and others are better able to resist and stand their ground. People who are low on confidence and those who tend to follow rather than lead could be more likely to seek their peers' approval by giving in to a risky challenge or suggestion. People who are unsure of themselves, new to the group, or inexperienced with peer pressure may also be more likely to give in.

Severus Snape was one of the latter ones who perhaps found solace in his company. He would be hypocrite to critcize it wrong considering he too had once found solace with Gellert's company. He had been young then and always held a little arrogance and disappointment in his heart for babysitting Arianne while he could have travelled the world and discover secrets and make a name for himself. Arianne's death had lifted a veil from his eyes and he had been subjected to humility by his own younger brother then who blamed him for his sister's death. It had changed him and brought him out of his illusions. He just hoped the boy sorted out his priorities before a needless suffering like his own.

"Bay Michael", came the voice of one of his oldest colleagues and friend Minerva Mcgonagall as she read out the names for sorting. A thin boy of shaggy brown hair walked a little nervously to the stool. Albus gave him an encouraging smile, he enjoyed seeing the newer generation coming and starting their journey in magic here very much and it was the reason he preferred Hogwarts more.

Severus who was sitting in the Slytherin table meanwhile frowned at the first name and saw the thin boy. The name amused him as he looked at the thin boy with a fond smirk remembering of talking robots who could change into vehicles.

It gave him a brief second idea of creating comics and everything to entertain children and grownups alike.

Perhaps create DC and Marvel comics under his name and own the franchises. It was a good idea until he remembered that the Marvel and DC comics were already made by now, perhaps investing in the cinematic verse of both of them would be better.

After all he could tell Warner Bros to bring some light effect in their movies instead of being all dark and gloomy in their DC movies. Afterall the animated DC movies were nice, it was the live ones who failed spectacularly.

The hat shouted 'Hufflepuff' and the boy went to the Hufflepuff table smiling as the table joined him.

"Cameron James", came the next name and a raven haired boy with eager steps walked to the table. The hat waited for 15 seconds before it shouted 'Slytherin', the Slytherin table applaused for their new addition and Severus too clapped once for the boy along with the other students.

As 'Zack Snyder' was sorted last into 'Slytherin' did Severus saw Dumbledore standing up to speak.

"I would have said 'tuck in' like usual but this time we have three new transfer students who were each homeschooled before arriving here. Let us applause for three new additions to Gryffindor house, Ronald Whitby, Hermione Granger and Harry Potter", Dumbledore said loudly clapping his hands eagerly like an over enthusiastic child as his eyes twinkled like never before.

As the rest of the Hogwarts clapped for the three new students who each stood up on the Gryffindor side, a lone student in Slytherin felt the ground being removed from his feet.

His eyes went to the Gryffindor table as he turned back around so quickly that Regulus Black who had been sitting besides him wondered if would break his neck. He had been sitting with his back to Gryffindor table, so he hasn't seen them before.

Looking at the faces of each of them and remembering and cross checking them from Severus Snape older memories, he quickly turned back. It was his good luck that Albus had not been paying attention to Slytherin table as he was too busy gazing into the Gryffindor table which was shouting happily for their new members and hooting which was done by marauders. If Dumbledore had been paying attention, he would have sure suspected something out of hand.

'Impossible', Severus thought inwardly as his nind enhanced more by rituals started to process things at a speed which could give him a headache. 'Such thing should be not possible', he thought as he gazed below at the table not letting his pale face shown to anyone. Only Regulus Black noticed it along with Narcissa Black who was sitting besides Regulus.

Both of them alluded that perhaps it was due to the addition of another Potter, one Potter was enough for a headache to Severus but with addition of another one it will get more hard for him.

He remembered Lord Chaos's words and wondered if this was the act which he was talking to and had sent him to fix it. He was so wrong, a small world like this couldn't warrant enough importance for the Lord of Chaos. They were beings who could make or destroy universes and cosmos with a simple will of their own. 'Chaos' was just working things for creating chaos like his own name. He just wanted another creation of chaos like he loved to see and feel. It was the reason he had erased the future timeline fully after the golden trio were sent into the future, making their existence permanent and preventing the creation of time paradoxes. 'Time' had not been happy but he could hardly protest when it was 'Chaos' who did it, 'Chaos' had always been the most loved by their father as he was the eldest and besides a small world didn't bothered to an entity like him to be cared of.

He wanted to simply check what the boy could do to deal with the situations as he needed to be able to reply to his father regarding that. Granted his father would hardly ask him, but it was better to be prepared for ever.

Severus who didn't knew anything simply was freaking out slowly. They looked like sixth or seventh years. If they were in sixth year, it meant that either they travelled here by some accident before Dumbledore's death and if they were in seventh year it meant that, all three of them had travelled after Dumbledore's death.

His gut instict was telling that it was perhaps the latter one, but even if they were in sixth or seventh year; it didn't mattered to him. One thing was going to be common, they were going to hate him for sure. And he couldn't bother to love them back either.

If they were going to come after him, then they sure will be surprised for ever. He was not going to be pushed over by them and will fight back twice as fiercely.

Afterall who lived by the sword, must be always ready to die by it too.

He looked discreetly and was relieved that Alice was not becoming too friendly with them, he felt happy seeing that.

A nagging girlfriend who lectured him on marality was the last thing he needed now in Hogwarts besides Alice knew that he wouldn't listen so she never bothered to say much about it. If they started it then it was okay for him to end it according to her, but he must not go and antagonize them first to kick the bucket was her opinion on the whole matter.

Severus was okay with it, even if he went and poke them; it must not be seen by her. Afterall what Alice doesn't know won't hurt her much.

He let his mind cool and let the anger out slowly from him, the perfect transmigration had been fully achieved and the anger of previous Severus was still hard to deal with sometimes.

As the feast started, he cut the piece of chicked delicately imagining it as his opponents, while thinking of plans to deal with them most effectively.

Hate and anger were wrong but it did give a purpose, besides he had to deal with the situation provided now.

It was going to be two very long years in Hogwarts. He didn't knew how right he was on that.
