I'm A Vine?!
"Woah whats going on, haha look at that my arms are vines...."
Ji Ye was dreaming of being a vine inside of another world peacefully, when all of a sudden.
"ARGHRARGAH!"
He was sucked into another world, it was like a tear opened in space and he fell through it. It was unlike anything he's ever seen.
But now..
"OH MY GOD IM REALLY A VINE!" Ji Ye let out unheard cries of pain since he has lost his human body, he especially missed his 'little brother'.

"What the hell!? Why me? I haven't even f*king died yet!" He cursed angrily at the floating system window in front of him.
Suddenly, a strange thought came across him. He was a vine, vines shouldn't have any human traits.
"Come to think of it, aren't I a vine? How am I seeing or thinking?"

"I see. How do I not be a vine anymore? I can't be a human so can I be something else?"

Ji Ye waited for a few seconds impatiently, nothing was happening and he was starting to die inside.

"Alright, are you kidding? I'm a vine, how the hell do I kill something?"

Ji Ye looked at the skills in confusion, it's not like he could just press a button and activate a skill.
He imagined himself using Vine Launch and the other end of himself suddenly went forward at fast speeds.
Ji Ye looked at it in amazement and did it a few more times. On the 10th time, a notification popped up.

When he used it again, it was much faster and precise, he could even somehow hear the air whistle when he threw it forward.
"I'll need a good spot for this, hmm." Ji Ye naturally was pretty short as a vine, he'd need to grow if he wanted to actually catch anything so instead he could find a spot to camp in.
He saw a tree and used his first skill Vine Movement.
"Holy crap, I'm actually inching forward! I can move!"

After stacking his skills together, he got them all to C grade and also reached the tree branches that were really high up.
He used encirclement to wrap around the thicker branches and hung his 'head' down to watch for any prey.
"Hey, what are life points?" He asked, curious on what this new currency would be for.

After analyzing it he realized a few things, first is that he could becoming stronger through killing and he could also make others stronger, which meant he could make contact with other species at some point. Upgrading skills makes sense so it didn't really surprise him.
"Squeek! Squeek!"
Suddenly, the cries of a squirrel woke Ji Ye from staring at the system. He looked down and saw an injured squirrel going up the tree.
"This world has squirrels? Encirclement!"
The end of Ji Ye shot out around the squirrel, trapping it and squeezing it like a snake. "Should've just made me a snake, would've made it much better!"

His body glowed a bright green then flashed red before stopping. When he looked at himself, he was now atleast 20 meters long and no longer green but a vibrant red.
There were also small buds and thorns every few meters on him. Leaves also sprouted in some areas.
"Wow what am I now??"

His new skill shot out the thorns that grew on him. Each one had the flame attribute and woul cause a burning effect on the targets spiritual energy.
"I should probably expand my reach soon. System how much life points to evolve again?"

Ji Yi let out a sigh in his mind and moved along the trees looking for some prey to kill and absorb.
Soon he discovered his first essence beast. Essence beasts are animals that have been exposed to spiritual energy for a long time, the more pure it is and the length their around it determines their strength.
"Grunt...Grunt.."
Ji Yi laughed at the sight of it, "Haahaha, it's just a retarded looking ox!" It had 4 horns and 3 tails and had blue crystals along it's body.

Ji Ye lined his body around the trees in a circular position, in just a second, hundreds of Flaming thorns were shot at the poor thing.
It was surprisingly durable and withstood a full minute of the continous onslaught of thorns.

Ji Yi was in huge pain from shooting it constantly for a long time and was happy it finally ended.
"What a tenacious cow! I bet his meat would be nice."
Ji Yi let himself go down the trees but kept most of himself on them. Soon he wrapped himself around the beast before another glow came out of it and a tingly sensation washed over him.
