Chapter 13

Kim Hae-yoon couldn't stop blushing as her heart pounded loudly, she was laying on the couch, her back turned against Cho Shiye as she breathed in and out to calm herself.

Her body is trembling and she's way too excited to sleep, she couldn't believe that her wife would take her hand and say those words.

「 "Good night, Hae-yoon" 」

Her blush intensified as her head kept repeating these same words, she curled her toes and wanted to scream in glee as in her distorted memory, Cho Shiye's words had changed.

「 "Good night, Honey" 」

'Ah… I must be out of my mind.' She screams internally as she turns around over and over again.

Hearing the hustle and bustle from the couch behind her, Cho Shiye turned around and saw Kim Hae-yoon squirming around like a worm. She couldn't seem to sleep and Cho Shiye chuckled knowing the reason why.

'Well, it looks like she truly was an idiot.'

Kim Hae-yoon opened her eyes and noticed that she's inside a room. The room was similar to the room she and her wife shared in the palace except that this one looks quite more modern than her room.

She groggily stood up and pressed her left wrist to open her optical brain, noticing that the familiar hologram screen was nowhere to be seen, she's bewildered.

She pressed her arm once more and noticed that the chip-like optical brain seemed to have gone. She fell deeper into confusion and looked around only to see a phone laying on top of her bedside drawer.

'Strange, wasn't this already phased out and was used by early civilizations millennia ago?' Kim Hae-yoon pondered until a hand wrapped around her waist, she looked at the woman holding her, frightened.

"Good morning, honey." The woman spoke, her voice she's oddly familiar with as her heart beat rapidly. "It's still quite early… Why did you wake up? Are you going to the company? But, you said you'll stay with me today…" the woman mumbled as she sat up while rubbing her eyes.

Kim Hae-yoon noticed that the woman was naked and immediately covered her eyes. "I- I'm sorry miss, I already have a wife and I don't know you so, please, refrain from being indecent with me." Kim Hae-yoon explained as the woman paused and burst out laughing.

"Hahaha, are you drunk?" She asked, laughing further. "But, seriously, that's so cute!" She said as she wrapped her arms around Kim Hae-yoon for a hug, Kim Hae-yoon felt the body of the woman pressing against her and in instinct, she pushed her away.

"I'm warning you, stop. I already told you I have a wife, so, stop or I'll call the guards and send you to jail." Kim Hae-yoon explained coldly as the woman stopped laughing and sat up straight.

"Stop joking around Hae-yoon and look at me." The woman ordered sternly as Kim Hae-yoon frowned and shook her head. "Kim. Hae. Yoon. Look. At. Me. Now!" Kim Hae-yoon firmly stood her ground.

'I am somewhere unfamiliar and with a strange woman, it looks like she took my optical brain away from me too. She, she's quite dangerous, I should take the chance and leave while I have—'

Kim Hae-yoon felt someone pulling her hand and she couldn't fight back due to the suddenness of the situation and when her eyes met with the woman who attacked her, she was blown away.

The strange woman who attacked her and was sitting naked in front of her looked like Cho Shiye, she was puzzled and rubbed her eyes and looked at 'Cho Shiye's' face yet again, ignoring her body.

"C-cho Shiye?!" She blurted out as the woman whose eyebrows were furrowed scoffed at her. "Is that really you?!"

"Yes, it's me, Cho Shiye, your wife." Cho Shiye replied, seemingly annoyed. "Why? Do you have another wife?" Cho Shiye sneered as Kim Hae-yoon shook her head in defense.

"Of course not! Why would you ever think of that? You're my one and only wife, that will never change!" Kim Hae-yoon proclaimed as Cho Shiye smiled in satisfaction and pinched Kim Hae-yoon's cheeks.

"Good." She replied as Kim Hae-yoon tried to look away, bashful. "What's wrong?"

"T-that… Why are you, uhh, naked?" Kim Hae-yoon asked, trying her best in ignoring Cho Shiye's bold display.

Cho Shiye laughed and wrapped her hands around Kim Hae-yoon's neck, making her tense up and tremble. "Why are you asking me that when you're the one who put me into this state?" She whispered into her ears, her warm breath blowing through Kim Hae-yoon's skin causing her mind to become blank.

The ripples of pleasure she felt just from that simple whisper made her heart beat way too fast for her to handle as she held her breath. Cho Shiye smirked and sat on top of Kim Hae-yoon's lap.

"Now, should we reenact the scene from last night for you to remember 'thoroughly'?" She teased as she pressed her lips against Kim Hae-yoon's.

An alarm woke Kim Hae-yoon as she stood up in frenzy, she's out of breath and her body was tensing up, her heart beating loudly as her mind raced recalling that kiss.

She tried to calm herself as she sat on the couch, 'It was all a dream.' She breathed in, 'It's not real.' She breathed out.

'But, that dream was way too realistic, as if it's actually real and was more like a… distant memory.' Kim Hae-yoon blushed.

'Even so, why do I have to wake up after that part?' Her face became as red as a tomato as her blush covered her whole face.
