'What the fuck does she mean by what I said? When did I say anything?' Ren was confused to say the least, and even more, 'please? Linda saying please? What the fuck has happened to the world?' Well, even when she became so close with the MC, she never used that word, the pride wouldn't allow her.

Despite the thoughts in his head, Ren remained calm on the exterior, well, he was just confused for the most part.

'For now, let's just play it cool. If the timeline has changed, then I might want these cheat characters on my side later on.' Even though he himself was somewhat of a cheat character… maybe he chose to identify with his kind now.

'With the developments now, it might be more beneficial to play along, at least for the time being.' He thought to himself.

Ren pulled out a saying he read from the novel before, even though it was just the same thing as a regular proverb, only switched to fit this world were the concept of leveling existed. This situation was just too unexpected and Ren really couldn't think of a better way out on the spot.

'At least with this, I can end things here and how she interprets it is up to her. Though, this may be more troublesome if she arrives at an undesirable conclusion.'

"I see… Goodnight then." Linda said, and Ren walked away towards his block.

Linda stood there for a while watching Ren walk away before she did so herself.

'I wouldn't allow anyone, but he's stronger than me, far stronger… this case is different.' Linda thought to herself, watching Ren walk away.

Once Ren was back to his room, he took his bath first thing, before eating the food he bought before it got any colder. After that was done, he pulled out the book he borrowed and began going through it, he suddenly got the urge to look through it.

Ren had checked out a couple hidden dungeons, but none were available, they hadn't formed yet. He was only able to raid the first one.

'I have to check the last one that's in the academy, but… I suddenly feel that I've beginning to understand this thing.' With such developments, Ren would spend the rest of the night reading until it was late and almost midnight.

By the time he stopped reading, it was already 11:00 pm. Ren closed the book and left it on the desk before walking to his bed.

After lying down, he got a particular itch that he had almost forgotten, it was just too familiar…
