Being unable to react on time even when his skills were activated, it still happened relatively fast for Ren when they all got sucked into a vacuum. In fact, not just those in that huge room were affected, people all around got sucked in, the strange blue energy that exploded outward didn't seem to care about physical boundaries and just phased through the walls and glass, or rather, ignored their existence.

In an instant that was as fast as light itself, they had been swallowed by the light and taken elsewhere, somewhere extremely far away.

A loud sound of explosion rocked the surroundings.

Just like that, all the students and some staff in the research department had been sent elsewhere as they appeared in the middle of a similar machine to the one that was in their research centre. The difference with this one would be the fact that it looked more… modern and futuristic, like this was a newer model and the one the humans had was an older one.
