Transmigrated into a Novel I've Never Read

There are several works in which someone is transported or reborn into a novel. A reader can become a villain. A reader can become an extra character. The author can become an extra character, a villain, or the main character. However, why couldn't I be transported to my own novel!? Why did it have to be in a novel that I never read?

White Prince

The four great clans are a perfect combination. Four clans that have long commanded the awakened market, producing the strongest awakened.

However, one day a small group, which had less than 200 years of history, began to become famous. All members had darker skin and white hair, but unlike the four great clans that empower certain types of Nexum, it was not the case for them.

Although a small and relatively young group compared to the four greats, this distinct group of awakened acquired an enviable reputation due to their unique ability to strengthen any type of Nexum with their special technique. This discovery caused a great impact on the awakened market, previously dominated by the four great clans, and many now consider it a serious competitor in the sector.

However, there are those who see them as a threat.

Tears flowed freely from Darya's eyes, who couldn't remember the last time she cried so intensely.

As the youngest daughter of the White Demon, she barely saw her father, who was busy managing the Dark Reverse Group.

Her mother was murdered when Darya was only 5 years old, in the midst of the dispute for control of the Dark Reverse Group with the Iversen family.

Founded by 12 smaller awakened families, the Dark Reverse Group emerged as a force to be reckoned with among the four big groups. These families were tired of being abused and disregarded by the four and decided to unite their forces.

However, even with the resources and knowledge acquired over the years, they did not have the same power, and the lack of a world-class awakened put them at a disadvantage.

Finally, a promising young man emerged from the ranks of the Dark Reverse Group. With hair as white as snow and an uncontrollable killing fury, he killed hundreds of Black Nexos and became known as the White Demon.

Being a member of the group, the twelve families named him as their leader and he founded the Mercer Family, which came to control the Dark Reverse Group. Under his leadership, the group grew to the point of being considered one of the pillars of humanity.

Darya longed to hear the words "I am proud of you" from her father. He was her hero, the one who always saved the princess and offered her safety and a happy ending.

Unfortunately, for little Darya, she did not understand that in order for the prince to arrive, the princesses needed to be kidnapped.

And then, when she was kidnapped, her white-haired prince did not appear.

At that time, Darya made excuses for her prince's absence.

She believed he was too busy and did not have time to save her. Not wanting to bother him, she blamed herself.

And it happened again.

And again.

Every time she needed to be rescued, Darya waited for her white-haired prince. But every time, she was disappointed to see members of her family's group in his place.

Darya had to mature early and, gradually, as she grew up, she realized the reason. She had not yet awakened her mental energy.

It was not definite that a human could synchronize their mind and body. Her brothers had achieved it when they were still young, but as the years went by, Darya couldn't. This made her lose her value in her father's eyes.

Until, at 13 years old, Darya finally awakened her mental powers. It was the first time in 6 years that she saw her father face to face.

She was back in the game. Now, she was someone to be reckoned with, even if she had inferior talent. After all, the blood of the white demon ran in her veins.

However, Darya was no longer the same person.

Even when kidnapped, she did not despair, staying calm and confident that she would be rescued. She had lost her innocence and learned to hide her emotions, no longer placing hope in anyone, not even her own family.

It was only when she met Arcturus that Darya found someone who treated her kindly. During her private lessons with him, she felt she could trust him and quickly he became her favorite person in the group.

However, Arcturus' tragic death was the trigger that Darya needed to finally unlock the emotions she had kept hidden for so long.

Darya felt a shiver run down her spine as she saw the woman approaching with slow and calculated steps. Each step echoed in her mind, making her heart beat faster every second.

She swallowed her fear and faced the woman with a mixture of anger and despair.

"I was told you're cold and indifferent to others. And that expression of fear on your face...it's so precious." The woman slid her fingers along the contours of her mask, letting out a sinister laugh.

"Who are you?" Darya asked, the hatred in her voice barely contained.

"Hehehehe."

Darya's hands trembled as the woman laughed maniacally. Suddenly, the woman made a gun gesture with her fingers and pointed in Darya's direction, who remained bravely facing her.

"Since you're going to die anyway, there's no harm in telling you something." A red energy coalesced at the tip of her finger. "Your beloved big brother sends his regards."

As soon as Darya heard 'big brother', the little rationality she had disappeared. She closed her eyes, accepting her fate. The only person who had supported her unconditionally had died, and everyone she trusted had betrayed her.

She saw no point in living.

"That's a GREAT expression!" The woman laughed, relishing in Darya's despair.

Suddenly, a sigh echoed through the hallway, followed by a rough, tired voice.

"What a shitty life," a boy looked at the scene in silence as he walked towards the two women. His eyes showed no weakness or negative feelings. He was different from Darya, he wasn't indifferent, he just didn't seem to be afraid.

Darya and the black-masked woman turned to face him, surprised by the sudden arrival of the boy. But the boy wasted no time in hesitation. He ran towards the two and, with his fist enveloped in black energy, punched towards the masked woman's weapon.

As his black energy made contact with the woman's red energy, it disappeared into the air as if it had never existed. The woman looked at the situation with wide eyes. Her connection to Nexo energy seemed to have been cut and her energy stolen.

She looked at the boy with a furious gaze and shouted, "Who are you to interfere, insolent boy!?"

"The name is Kian," he replied coldly, ignoring the woman's provocation.

Standing between both of them, he quickly opened his hand enveloped in energy and held Darya's hand.

His black energy grew, enveloping them both, and in the blink of an eye, they disappeared from the sight of the masked woman.

"Shit! I thought I was going to die!" I exclaimed, feeling the adrenaline still running through my veins.

The truth was that the change the author made to my talent only contributed to my insecurity. But luckily, the self-suggestion I made for myself worked exactly as I had hoped.

It was like watching a first-person video. Seeing my body move on its own was strange, but the movements and the way I controlled the energy within me were something I could never do alone. I didn't even know how to use my ability, but my talent allowed me to do it.

It was a risky bet, but I was going to die anyway, so it didn't matter. I won't lie, I expected more from my ability. I thought I would be able to erase the woman in the blink of an eye. But what surprised me the most was that, to survive, I needed to save the girl.

"What's happening?" Both asked at the same time. The girl looked at me with wide eyes, while the masked woman searched for us in confusion.

I felt my mouth move on its own. "I erased our presence," I calmly replied. "Don't worry, she's not looking at you, she's looking through you."

The girl looked at the woman in astonishment, while the latter searched for our tracks in vain.

"How is this possible?" The girl asked curiously.

"Because I'm erasing the sound from spreading," I explained as I walked in front of her. "Even our footsteps, I'm erasing it. However, my Nexo energy is running out." I grabbed the girl's hands to stop her from moving and spoke in a low voice: "She can hear you, so don't move."

Now I was surprised. Wasn't this ability too broken!?

"Personal question, what's your ability?" I asked, but I was met with deafening silence from the girl.

"I'm an emission type, but for some reason, I can't emit energy beyond my body or something I'm touching," I said as I watched the girl change expression.

"That's why you're still doing this?" She asked, raising our still-joined hands.

I nodded, agreeing with her question. The girl put her hand on her chin and began to think.

"So why didn't you touch her?"

"For what?"

"To erase her?"

"And erase myself along with her?"

She fell silent again, while I let out a long sigh of impatience.

"My energy is not infinite, and I can't kill her. Can you help me or not?" I grumbled, frustrated.

The girl squeezed my hand and bit her lower lip, her eyes full of doubt.

"I'm also an emitter type. I can kill her," she replied, gaining a bit of confidence. "But to kill a black nexus, I'll need to gather all of my energy."

"Then do it," I ordered.

"Now?" She asked, still hesitant.

"We don't have much time," I pointed to the woman behind me.

The woman clenched her hands in fury and let out a frustrated scream. She began to gather energy again, but this time in a staggering amount that made the air around us tremble.

"Damn it, I can't feel them!" She growled, her red eyes wide with anger. "Anyway, just to be safe, I'll destroy the place. If they're still here, they'll surely die."

I nodded and prepared for the imminent attack. Meanwhile, the girl beside me began to gather her own energy, an energy as white as snow that seemed to be the embodiment of purity.

"As soon as you're done, let me know." I turned around, facing the woman. "I have enough energy to stop this attack, but I'll exhaust myself, so make sure this attack will kill you!"

"Okay."

As she gathered her energy, the temperature around her dropped. The girl's Nexus energy was probably ice, just like her ability. So I felt my own energy passing through my arm and erasing the traces of temperature around her, so the masked woman wouldn't notice.

While doing that, the remaining part of my Nexus energy concentrated in my left fist, the free fist, and clumped up just like the woman's energy.

I swallowed nervously, feeling my heart racing in the tense situation. My Nexus energy began to concentrate in my left arm, forming a bright and unstable sphere. I knew I couldn't wait much longer, I needed to act fast.

"Hurry up," I murmured to the girl as I watched the woman gather energy at a frightening speed. "If this continues, my energy won't be enough to stop her."

The girl nodded with determination, focusing even more on her ability. As she gathered energy, the temperature around her dropped dramatically. It was as if the intense cold was the embodiment of her Nexus ice ability.

I continued to concentrate my Nexus energy in my left arm, feeling it clumping up in an unstable and powerful form. Nervousness still gripped me, but I quickly calmed my heart with auto-suggestion.

Finally, the girl declared that she was done gathering her energy, which made me feel a momentary relief. I knew the situation was far from being resolved, but at least we had a chance.

Donate some power stones there, man, so more people can get to know it.
