9 Chapter 9

Yang Chen made it to Old Li's small house and when he did, he saw that it was a mess. There were glass shards that came from the broken window and the door looked like it was smashed open. When he entered the house it was worse, he could see the place was completely wrecked.

He saw Old Li who was beaten up pretty bad, barely conscious in the floor while his wife and JingJing were in tears as they were helping him.

JingJing who noticed Yang Chen come in instantly went to him and said while sobbing. "Big brother Yang, please help my dad!"

Yang Chen wasted no time as he went to Old Li and took out a self-healing bracelet and placed it on his wrist while secretly using his healing powers to make him heal faster.

Old Li who could barely open his eyes and was about to go unconscious suddenly started to feel that his pain was reducing.

Old Li then looked at Yang Chen and asked while motioning to the self-healing bracelet on his wrist and asked. "Little Yang, what is this and why don't I feel as much pain as before?"

"This is a device that heals all physical injuries ten times faster than the human body. It's a device that I will be introducing when I start my company." Explained Yang Chen.

"You have a company?" This time it was JingJing's mother, 'Aunt Li' who asked.

Yang Chen just nodded to her then turned to JingJing. When he saw her, his heart went cold. JingJing's hair was a mess, she had handprints on her red cheeks with tear stains and red swollen eyes, as if she had been crying for some time. Truly a pitiful sight.

For the first time since he came to this world, Yang Chen was angry and he asked without emotion. "Who?"

Yang Chen didn't know why he was so angry, since they should be stranger's in his eye's but he didn't care and just kept staring at JingJing waiting for her reply.

JingJing was avoiding his gaze, not answering. She was scared, not because of Yang Chen's stare but because she knew if she told him who was the one that caused this, he would go after them. She didn't want Yang Chen to get hurt so she remained silent.

At this moment, Old Li who was recovering while Aunt Li was helping him up said. "It was, Chen Dehai."

Yang Chen who got his answer walked up to JingJing, while extending his hand to her.

JingJing closed her eyes as she didn't know what Yang Chen was going to do until she felt him grab her hand and place something on her wrist.

JingJing opened her eyes as she saw Yang Chen put on one of his self-healing bracelets that looked just like the one her dad got.

When Yang Chen was putting the bracelet on her, he secretly used more of his healing powers on JingJing.

When Yang Chen was finished putting the bracelet on JingJing, he said in low voice.

"I'm sorry, this is my fault."

JingJing who heard him instantly replied.

"No! It wasn't!"

Yang Chen not hearing what she was saying, replied back. "I'll fix this."

Yang Chen then went to the door as he was preparing to leave to go find Chen Dehai.

JingJing who saw Yang Chen leaving, ran to him and hugged him from behind.

"You can't! You'll get killed!" JingJing began sobbing once more, as she begged Yang Chen to not go.

Yang Chen turned around and patted JingJing on the head, and said while smiling confidently.

"Trust me." Yang Chen said reassuring JingJing.

JingJing who saw Yang Chen's confident smile replied, although with a bit of worry."Ok, but promise me you won't get hurt."

Yang Chen just nodded and left Old Li's house looking for the man that's about to experience hell.

Aunt Li who was watching her daughter and Yang Chen's interaction was contemplating something before silently agreeing with a decision she made up in her mind.

When Yang Chen left Old Li's house he searched for Chen Dehai while using his clairvoyance skill.

Yang Chen found Chen Dehai in a new mansion in his office doing some work and teleported straight to him.

When Chen Dehai saw Yang Chen appear out of nowhere he was shocked but before he could say anything, Yang Chen grabbed his arm and teleported to a Sahara plain in Africa.

Yang Chen then through Chen Dehai on the ground before teleporting back to Chen Dehai's mansion, and this time grabbed Chen Feng who was in another room resting since he was bedridden and teleporting back to Chen Dehai.

Yang Chen then through Chen Feng on the floor next to his father, jolting him awake.

"Huh? Where am I?" Asked the confused Chen Feng.

"Son!" Chen Dehai screamed as he saw Chen Feng appear before turning to Yang Chen and said angrily. "You bastard! What is this?!"

Yang Chen ignored his question and said emotionless.

"Do you know, when African wild dogs eat their prey, they eat it alive since they like there food hot. And they also eat in a huge pack, so they can take down the prey easier."

Chen Dehai was starting to feel fear as he heard what Yang Chen was saying.

"What...are you...trying to say?" Chen Dehai said in a shaky voice as he was getting really scared.

"Dad! I'm scared, I want to go home!" Chen Feng who was already crying was scared shitless especially when heard Yang Chen's emotionless words.

Yang Chen ignored them both and continued speaking with an emotionless tone.

"Imagine being eating alive as every part of your body is being used as a chew toy, by a pack of wild dogs as you scream for death."

Suddenly you could hear dog's squealing as they get closer to Chen Dehai and his son.

(AN: Tbh, Idk what sound they make so I chose squealing since they sound annoying.)

As they got closer, Chen Dehai's face started to get drained from all colors and turned to Yang Chen and begged while he got on his knees.

"Please! Please, get us out here! I'll do anything!"

"Dad! Dad, get us home!" Chen Feng who was already crying starting crawling to his father and clinging to his shirt.

Yang Chen who just stared at them emotionless before saying. "Choose, between you two..."

But before he could finish Chen Dehai pointed at his son and screamed. "Him! He's been nothing but a spoiled brat since he's been born, and it was he who offended you first!" Completely thinking that the last person gets to stay alive.

Chen Feng shocked, just stared at his father and said. "But, dad..." But before he could finish, two wild dogs went to his good leg and started biting him and another went for his groin intending to take him down.

"Arghhh!" Chen Feng screamed in pain, before saying. "Dad, help me!"

Chen Dehai just stared at him with cold eyes before more wild dogs started ganging up on Chen Feng. They went for his stomach, then his face as they starting feasting on his inside's. Truly a gruesome death.

Chen Dehai watched with a pale face before turning to Yang Chen and said hopefully. "There, you told me to choose. Now will you let me go?"

Yang Chen replied back emotionless. "You didn't let me finish. I was going to say, choose between you two, who dies first."

When Chen Dehai heard this he widened his eyes before wild dogs jumped on him, eating him alive making him scream in agony and asking for death for the next few minutes.

When the light in his eyes was about to extinguish, Yang Chen said. "You didn't think that was it, did you?" Before healing him and repeating the process of him getting eaten alive again.

The torture lasted about an hour before he finished and teleported back to Chen Dehai's mansion, and killing every one of his goons since they hurt someone that shouldn't have.

After he was done, he decided to check up on JingJing and her family to see how they were doing so he teleported back to Zhong Hai.

When he arrived at their house, it was less messy since they cleaned up the house but still had signs as if they just got robbed.

JingJing was the first to spot him before she ran to him and checked if he was hurt.

"Sigh... you're okay, thank God." JingJing sighed in relief, before blushing as she just realized what she was doing and separated from Yang Chen.

"Sorry, I just wanted to see if you were okay." Said JingJing as she was still blushing.

"I promised, didn't I." Yang Chen said as he smiled at JingJing's behavior.

Yang Chen then turned to JingJing's parents who were watching their interaction with a smile before saying.

"I'm sorry for causing you so much trouble."

"What do you mean, if it wasn't for you we would be in an even worse situation." Old Li said while faking his anger.

"Still it was my fault, so as an apology I would like to buy you guy's a new place to live in. What do you say?" Yang Chen said.

"We can't, that's too much." Old Li interjected.

"Of course we can, right old man." This time it was Aunt Li who replied as she smiled.

"But..." Before Old Li could reply, Aunt Li gave him 'that look' and he instantly shut up.

Anybody could tell, who called the shot's in this family.

Aunt Li then turned to Yang Chen and said while smiling. "We accept your offer."

"Great. You should pack your bags since you'll be moving in today." Yang Chen said, making them shocked since they didn't know they were moving today.

The family packed there stuff that wasn't destroyed and got in Yang Chen's car and left.

Yang Chen had made a few calls with homeowners, trying to see who would be interested in selling a condo.

When Yang Chen got to the condo he was greeted by the homeowner before they went into talk's, about buying the place.

Yang Chen agreed and bought the place before turning to the Li family who was to busy looking in awe at the whole place.

"You guy's coming?" Asked Yang Chen and smiled at the way the family was acting.

When they entered, the Li family were gobsmacked since this is the first time they've seen a place so luxurious.

Old Li turned to Yang Chen and said still in awe. "Little Yang, are you sure it's okay?"

Yang Chen replied with a small smile.

"Of course, since it's my fault you guys had to suffer. I'll make up for it."

Old Li just smiled at Yang Chen before the whole family decided to check out the interior of the place.

When they were checking the inside of the house, Aunt Li dragged JingJing to a vacant room.

"Mom, why did you bring me here?" Asked JingJing confused.

"JingJing answer me honestly, okay." Aunt Li said looking seriously at JingJing.

JingJing didn't know why her mother asked this but still nodded seriously.

"Do you like, Yang Chen?" Aunt Li asked JingJing.

JingJing madly blushed when her mother asked this, and started fiddling with her fingers before shyly nodding.

"Then why don't you tell him your feelings?" Aunt Li asked.

JingJing just gave a sad smile and said. "Because he's married."

Aunt Li didn't get fazed by this and just replied.

"So?"

"Huh?" JingJing was shocked at her mother's reply.

"It's normal for a successful young man like him, to have multiple lovers. I mean look where we're at."

JingJing was still a little shocked by her mother's remark and said hesitantly.

"But, still..."

"Has he rejected you?" Asked Aunt Li.

"Well, no..." JingJing replied.

"Then you have a chance, as long you haven't been rejected you could win his heart." Said Aunt Li trying to encourage her daughter.

"I don't know, won't he think I'm cheap?" Asked JingJing.

"Heavens no, I've seen the way you two interact and he doesn't think that at all. Trust me you have a chance." Said Aunt Li, as she gave one last push that her daughter needed.

"Your...right!" JingJing said, this time with her eyes filled with determination.

"That's the spirit! Now go in there and win his heart!" Aunt Li said, making JingJing fire burn even more.

"Right!" JingJing said and headed to go find Yang Chen.

When JingJing left the room, her mother just gave a smile and thought 'So innocent' before going to find the guy's as well.

Yang Chen who was having a chat with Old Li, when JingJing decided to join in the chat as well.

"Big brother Yang, do you know I became a school teacher at a high school recently?" JingJing asked Yang Chen happily.

"You did? Good for you." Yang Chen congratulated JingJing with a small smile.

"Thanks, but you should visit me sometime if you're not busy." JingJing happily asked Yang Chen.

"Sure." Yang Chen replied still smiling while thinking to himself. 'Why have I been happy lately? I mean I don't hate it but still, it's...new.'

After some time passed with the Li family and all of them had a good time, the old couple went to their new room to rest since it was a long day, while Yang Chen decided it was time to leave.

"Do you have to go?" JingJing asked Yang Chen a bit sad since he was leaving.

Yang Chen just patted her on the head before saying with a simple smile.

"Yes, I promised a friend I would meet them tonight. But I'll visit you at work soon, okay."

When JingJing heard this, she instantly became happy.

Suddenly JingJing ran toward's Yang Chen and kissed him on the cheek before running off while madly blushing and saying.

"Goodnight, big brother Yang!"

Yang Chen just stood there, while holding the cheek that JingJing just kissed for a couple of seconds before he left their house.

Yang Chen decided that he would visit Rose to inform her of Chen Dehai's death, so he texted her saying he was coming to the bar right now.

When Yang Chen went inside the bar, there were a lot of people since it was the nightlife. So he went to Rose room and saw her there only wearing a short red silk nightgown hugging her amazing curves and showed her amazing legs.

Rose saw Yang Chen enter and said tiredly. "You know, I was literally about to go to sleep when I saw your text. So what's up?"

Yang Chen just stared at Rose in the eyes and said without emotion. "Chen Dehai and his son are now dead."

"I see..." Rose knew Yang Chen was going to take care of them but she didn't think it would be so soon.

"Sigh....now we'll have to wait on what my father will plan, now that Chen Dehai is dead." Rose sighed tiredly.

"Well now that you're here, how come you don't stay the night?" Rose said seductively while putting her hand and making her finger do circle's around Yang Chen's chest.

Yang Chen who just kept staring at Rose was thinking. 'After what happened with JingJing kind of scared me a little, since I have taken over Yang Chen's body I have changed stuff but I handled them wrong and paid the price. I was an idiot and was still clinging back to my previous life, but no more, the old me is dead and I am now Yang Chen. So his future problems will become my future problems. I will tackle them headstrong, with no regrets and live my new life to the fullest!'

Yang Chen then closed his eyes and took a deep breath. When he opened them back up again, he felt like an invisible weight has been lifted off his shoulders.

Rose who saw Yang Chen not responding to her, was quite sad and separated from him.

Yang Chen then smiled and pulled Rose by the waist and gave her a deep kiss.

"Ah!" Rose yelped in surprise, before melting in the kiss.

When they both separated lips, they were out of breath while Rose was blushing.

"Sure I'll stay the night." Yang Chen said with a happy smile.

Rose had tears of happiness rolling down her cheeks. This meant that he had finally accepted her.

"Don't cry." Said Yang Chen as he was wiping away her tears.

"I'm sorry, it's just I'm very happy right now." Said Rose as more tears starting falling.

Yang Chan just smile and pecked her on the lips.

"Let's go to sleep." Yang Chen said.

"Mn." Rose nodded with a very happy smile.

They both hugged each other and slept comfortably in each other's embrace.

(AN: What you guys think, was it to forced? Btw MC will not sleep with Rose yet, he will develop more feelings for her. Never wrote an R-18 chapter so idk. Also MC has not accepted JingJing, he has just acknowledged her feelings.)
