144 144 – Author's thoughts

Well, that's the end!

Thank you for reading my fanfic.

I really feel that I've become better since the first chapter.

Even if not in quality, at least in speed.

I remember that it took me like one week to write the first chapter, and lately I sometime did 3 chapters a day.

Well, I didn't write everyday, that's why you never got more than one daily chapter xD

I'm very grateful to those who made useful comments to help me in getting better.

As for why I didn't follow your advices, it's because I feared that if I modified my fanfic, I would no longer feel it as my own, getting bored and dropping it.

A lot of fanfics got dropped because their authors listened too much to what the readers wanted.

While it may improve the story in the short term, in the long term the author would feel that it's someone else's story and wouldn't be able to motivate himself enough to continue.

Like someone already said, it's very hard to write something good and a single mistake can make the whole thing bad.

(I'm definitely not talking about a generous MC or clones!)

Also, a story can't be perfect. There will always be people unsatisfied by some of the author's choices, that's why I decided to keep my "mistakes".

It was my first time writing so I find it very normal to have made some errors.

But don't worry, your words weren't in vain and I'll remember them in the future.

So, even if I didn't change anything, I'll remember your advices for my next fanfic.

Fanfic, yes.

While I feel that I did get better, I don't feel ready to write my own story yet.

In my next fanfic, I'll try to make more developments and try things that I didn't here.

I think that I'll start publishing it in a few months when I have enough finished chapters and a clear idea of the main plots.

I'll put a new chapter on this one when I release it, so you can keep it in your library if you want a notification when it's ready.
