" Nothing much, just help Wang Yong to the best of your abilities and ensure he doesn't get hurt." Zhi Ruo calmly stated.

" Oh really? My old pal needs a hand? Of course, no problem! What do you need?" Leon smirked. It was extremely rare for Wang Yong to need help with anything as he was such a mighty being in Leon's eyes but it seemed like Leon could finally do something for his good brother.

" I need help investigating the ones who went after my head and the person who hired them. I know you are good at that. " Wang Yong calmly smiled as he played with Zhi Ruo's hand.

" What? Someone dared go after you? " Leon scoffed at the revelation. Leon knew the overpowered background Wang Yong had and could only pity the person that decided to go after him. "How do you know that it was someone from the mafia? You have any evidence?"

" The job was too well done. I didn't get severely injured but they were close to putting a bullet hole in my brain. This level of skill is not ordinary. The group that ambushed me and my troop was very well trained and it was definitely a planned attack, I don't think any solo hitman would have been able to pull it off. The confidence to kill me and to succeed at this job is what really gave it away. A group with this level of skill can only be connected to the mafia. Even if they weren't, it wouldn't be bad to double check. " Wang Yong explained.

" You are right. Someone that dares go against you and gets so close to success is definitely very dangerous...But you are going to have to give me some time, there is no way I can find the culprits this easily but I'll immediately put a couple people on this. " Leon smirked as he leaned back in his seat.

" Don't take too long. " Wang Yong answered casually with a slightly threatening tone.

" Living demon? " Zhi Ruo gently raised her eyebrow with curiosity and turned to Wang Yong who had an unhappy face.

Back at the hotel, Zhi Ruo plopped down on the bed and happily dove in the sheets. Her and Wang Yong spent all day sightseeing and she was absolutely beat from the walking.

Thinking back to their dinner with Leon and Alessia, Zhi Ruo fell into a daze and sighed, 'They were talking so casually about killing people and the mafia that even I got desensitized to the reality of this situation. We really are in a novel... Never would I have thought that this is where I would end up...'

" What is my princess so intently thinking about? " Wang Yong gently said as he toppled over her and caressed her hair.
