1 Life Changes

''Ugh...'' Issei sat up, moving his hand to rub at his face before stopping.

He sniffed his hand a bit before his head recoiled, pushing his hand away as he almost gagged.

''He didn't was his fucking hands? Good fucking god.'' Issei grumbled before he reached over to his window, opening it to let the room begin to air out, it smelt... Horrible in here, the clutter of tissues, Disks, memorabilia of anime figurines, costumes, cosplays, and all sorts of things were in the room, making it cramped.

Waking up as Issei wasn't the worst thing to happen to a guy who just got transmigrated, and it could have been a much worse transition.

But he was fine, despite the mess he was right now, his memories were working properly, the vague understanding of what can, and will happen in his future from his previous life, and the memories of Issei, growing up and being a fucking degenerate.

He went to go take a shower, being sure to throw all of the clothes he could that were normal into the washer and dryer combo before he did.

While he was in the shower, scrubbing like he was trying to rend his own flesh he thought of what he should do.

First was to get his room in order, clean it up and get rid of all the things he wouldn't be using anymore.

He was just going to throw it away, but due to strong feelings the old Issei used to have to the items, they also had similarly strong memories, things that didn't require him to think to hard about it.

One such memory was of a certain figurine that had been really hard to get, that he had only been able to get due to a raffle draw, watching it on the web as it climbed higher, and higher in price...

The last time he checked, it was a little over 1500... At that price, he better go through the entirety of the collection and compares prices, after he was done cleaning of course.

Getting out of the shower, he used a towel to dry himself off, checking before he made it across the hall back into his bedroom, closing the door behind him and making sure to lock it.

Removing the towel he tossed it onto the desk, the only clean thing, even then it was full of figurines as well.

Looking at himself in the full-length body mirror, he examined his body.

''Weak, no muscle or stamina, not even a little toning, really man? Well... Better then unhealthy I guess.'' It's not like Issei didn't try to work out, but he masturbated far to much, and it drained any possibility of him using his god given resource to get in better shape faster.

Testosterone.

Flexing his arms, getting nothing in return was a faguely new feeling. He didn't remember a lot of his previous life anymore, but he was sure he didn't like the weak noodle arms, those would change.

Getting into clean clothes he was willing to burn later, he went to go get cleaning supplies.

His Mother was out shopping, and his Father was at work so he had some time to get the majority of stuff done before they got home.

So, he began to clean the room, throw trash away, recycling what could be.

Thankfully, even if a weird thing to be thankful for. The previous Issei always only came into a tissue, and even if he wasn't the best at hygiene he never touched any of his comics, books, porn, or anything expensive with dirty hands.

It took him a little over an hour to clean everything up, and by the end of it he was short of breath. Taking another quick shower he sat at his desk and started his computer, Issei wasn't the brightest, but he was gifted when it came to building computers, so he had a top-of-the-line gaming PC available to him with some serious equipment to get things done.

He was going to keep the PC, no reason to sell such a nice piece of hardware if a single figurine he owns will sell for a minimum of a thousand cold hard US cash.

He began small first, games that he no longer played, and since he had played them so much, even if it was the previous Issei, whereas there were good memories of playing them, they would be better off with someone who liked them more then the current one did.

Issei stopped a bit, leaning back in his swanky gaming chair.

Being... Him, and 'Him' was going to be confusing for the first few days, and he would get used to it after afterwhile but for now he need to just take a breath.

His mind didn't care, but the thought of selling stuff he worked so hard to get, was proud to own before made his heart hurt a bit.

But in a clash of Logic, and Emotion, he knew how to make Logic prevail, he needed to prepare, to be stronger, to be better then Iss-. He was.

Having a lot of started capital would make it easier for him, and it would mean he wouldn't need to worry about asking it from his parents.

Finished with his little 'crisis' if he could even call it that. He leaned forward in his chair once more and began to check the prices for the game across multiple sights, especially some in region trading sites.

Quite a few of the older games sold for a good price.

Taking a few of them, he took a few pictures with his smartphone, of their condition, the proof needed, and for the ones, he could 'Proof' of purchase.

Setting a minimum price and then auctioning he let them be, thankfully he already had a trusted account for trading since he used to play games, then trade items he would receive in the game to people, so no one would think he was shady.

What he didn't expect though was not even five minutes after posting the 6 game auction his phone rang.

Checking the collar idea, it was Motohama.

Clicking and sliding to answer, he lifted his phone to his ear. ''Hey man.''

''Issei, you good man? I was browsing the Trade for any gems, and I saw your account post a few, so I went to go see what game items you were selling, to only find out you selling your games, are you okay?''

''Yeah, man just...'' Issei took a breath, leaning back in his chair, he was met with a divide.

Motohama wasn't a bad guy at all, perverted as all hell for sure, but he's been Issei's best friend since they were just kids trying to flip skirts.

''Just what bro? Is something going on? I uh... I know we don't much talk about it, but if you need to talk, I'm here for you man... We can have a serious conversation if you need, man to man?''

Issei chuckled a bit before he spoke. ''Nah man I'm fine, I just thought long and hard, summer just started you know? I think it's time I put some effort into changing my life, and turning it around for the better. Going to start eating healthy, working out, try and spend more time with my parents, you know?''

''Ah man... I knew this would happen eventually, I just didn't think it happens while we were still in school!'' Motohama sighed across the line, there were a few moments of silence before he finally spoke again.

''I understand, honestly, I've been thinking about it as well, being perverted has been fun, and living our school years so freely has been a blast but... I want to study harder, try and get into a good college, and make mom proud you know? Hey... Can I be honest?''

''Always man, no lies between best friends, right?'' Issei felt the serious tone shift, leaning forward a bit as he focused more on the conversation.

''Yeah... You know with my Dad passing away last year, Mom's been putting up a front, but sometimes I feel like a waste, I know she doesn't see that in me, and she's even proud of me for already earning money to help her even if we are pretty well off because of the settlement and the fact her work pays really well but... I want to do more for her, She's happy with my C's and B's, but what if I just pull out a straight A report card one day? I think she would like that...''

Issei chuckled softly. ''I think she would be happy bro, no doubt. Your Mom's a good Mother, and you're a decent son.''

Motohama laughed at the jab to him, and another silence before he spoke. ''We should stop hanging together for a bit, we're known as the 'Perverted Trio', and I know we're starting Highschool, but you know it's going to follow us, and I'll deal with Matsuda, he will definitely be getting emotional.''

Issei nodded, that's why he was glad it was Motohama, the more level-headed thinker of the two of his friends. ''I'll see you around man, and don't worry, we're still friends. All three of us just got to take some time to get ourselves together, to grow up some. We can still game on Saturdays like usual though, we've got Savage to push so we can show off to the guild.''

Motohama smiled, even if he didn't say it, he was a bit worried. Issei had started to act a bit weird the last week or so like he was growing a bit distant, not himself. But now it felt like he was back properly, just trying his best to grow up.

He was also worried about losing Issei as a friend, but hearing that helped him relax.

''Damn straight! That fucker won't know what hit his ass when we're done with him!'' Motohama exclaimed, excited for the raid this weekend.

''Hopefully, our weapons are what's hitting him.'' Issei joked before ending the call, glad that was dealt with sooner than later, only to hear the front door open.

''Issei, can you come help me, please? There was a produce sale and I need some help putting it all away!'' His Mother called from the front door and he called down.

''Be right there!'' Issei hit submit on the latest auction he was doing and stood up, walking out of his bedroom he descended the stairs quickly.

His Mother looked up and froze a bit, still in the process of taking off her shoes, not used to him coming right when he said he would, usually she had to wait a bit before he actually came down.

She also noticed that he didn't smell, at least not a bad scent.

When he passed to grab the groceries from her she took a sniff, delighted to smell the shampoo she had bought him being put to use, it was supposed to help with hair care but he never used it, opting to use a normal shampoo when he did actually shower.

Issei walked through the living room and into the kitchen, starting to put stuff away, as she was getting her coat off and putting it away, she heard something that made her freeze stiff.

The dryer was going, walking down the hall she saw that it was Issei's laundry.

When did he do his own laundry? Not even his Father knew how to work the combo.

Tiptoeing back she made her way up the stairs, genuinely curious as she slowly peaked into Issei's room.

The first thing to hit her was the smell, the CLEAN smell.

Opening the door fully, she saw he had cleaned his room to HER standards, even having gone far enough to change out his sheets with new ones and everything.

Was he going to ask for money? No no, he would've cleaned the house then, not just his room.

Seeing his computer left on, and open she was surprised.

Normally Issei would never leave his computer open and would make sure it was locked, even if it was a quick bathroom break.

Going over to it, she noticed he had a few of his games set out, and when she checked the screen she noticed he was selling them.

That worried her a bit, was Issei in trouble? Did he borrow money from someone he shouldn't have?

Walking back down the stairs she came to the kitchen to him putting the last thing away, pulling out a yogurt for himself, but when she watched him instead of taking a clean spoon, take a dirt one and clean it for himself she felt a little faint.

Stepping forward she grabbed his arm and made him turn to look at her seriously. She didn't like doing this to him, giving him the 'Mom Eye', but she was worried.

''Issei, is everything okay?''

''Hm?'' Issei turned to look at his Mother, pulling the spoon out of his mouth he swallowed his yogurt before speaking. ''What? Yeah, everything is fine, actually feel pretty good. Do you know when Dad will get home?''

''Your Father?... He called and said he would be an hour late, so he won't be here for a bit yet, why?''

''I was going to get him to sign a permission slip for a gym membership, which reminds me. Do you mind if I use my card for the subscription?''

She stared at him, hard. Really trying to notice if anything was wrong, to see if he was lying.

She knew her son inside and out, and whereas he was definitely different, she knew for a fact he wasn't lying, he was fine... But a gym membership?

''Why the gym sweety?''

Issei grinned to her, the grin making her relax quite a bit, because despite the change it was still the same stupid grin as usual, lifting to flex his arm, using his other hand to slap at his non-existent muscle.

''Because curls get the girls! I also want to get some more meat on my bones, and some muscle. So the next time a hot teacher like Ms. Hyoko asks for someone to help her move boxes to her car, I can swoop in, take her off her feet!''

His mother giggled softly, covering her mouth a bit before she released his arm, raising her hand to pinch as his cheek. ''She is soon to be engaged Issei, you wouldn't be able to!''

''Mom, just because there's a goalie, doesn't mean you cant score a goal,'' Issei stated boldly, only to get shoved out of the kitchen.

''SHOO! Go pretend to be a playboy somewhere else while I get dinner ready!'' She fake scowled, not worrying at all anymore.

''Thank you for being such an amazing mother.'' Issei suddenly stated, getting her to turn around and give him the stink eye.

''No, you can not have any ice cream before dinner.'' Her response made Issei turn away and click his tongue, finishing his yogurt and rinsing the spoon off before he put it into the sink. ''I'll be back in a bit, going to go run and get that slip I was talking about.''

''Be back before your Father, or so help me I will beat you up.'' She shook her fist at him as he made his way out of the house, having already grabbed his wallet and phone earlier.
