Preparing To Visit The Capital City (4)

Inside of a huge office building owned by the Xuan family...

"And that'll conclude our meeting for today, any questions?" Luna asked and then scanned around the meeting room to see if anyone had any questions for her.

Seeing that everyone either shook their heads or stayed quiet, she then dismissed the meeting.

While everyone was slowly getting up and started preparing to exit the meeting room, they couldn't help but admire Luna in their hearts.

Even though Luna was already well known for being incredibly smart and was extremely good at handling everything involving with business related matters, the exponential growth Luna had displayed over the past three weeks was just more than insane.

Not only did she somehow manage to increase the revenue of the company's beauty care products by over 3 times in just 3 weeks, but she had also even started to form her own connections with other influential people from overseas.

Not even some of the 10 major families over at the capital city have even managed to do that yet!

And the most crazy thing was that Luna was only 20 years old.

With the way things are headed now, most of the executives were absolutely positive that sooner or later, the Xuan family will be considered as one of the behemoths of China.

So after casting an admiring look at Luna one more time, everyone started to leave the meeting room.

After Luna had confirmed that everyone had exited the meeting room...

"Come out." Luna said in a monotone voice.

Right afterwards, a woman seemingly materialize out of thin air infront of Luna.

"Sect Master." The woman knelt down and stated respectfully.

"Update me on how Ronald is doing." Luna looked at the woman kneeling down and said in a cold tone.

"While Ronald was visiting a bar that is owned by Xie Roulin yesterday, he had encountered Ye Fan and Xie Roulin over there, but before Ye Fan could do anything to him, he was shot by Xie Roulin and was immediately sent to the hospital afterwards."

"Hmm, anything else?" When Luna first heard that Ronald had encountered Ye Fan at a bar, her heart dropped.

Although she had entrusted Ronald's safety to her subordinates and her sect members for the time being, with how eccentric and elusive Ye Fan was, she was worried that Ronald might've gotten hurt.

But after hearing that Ye Fan was shot and had been sent to the hospital, Luna breathed a sigh of relief.

Even though Luna could've done the exact same thing and equip her subordinates with guns in order to shoot at Ye Fan whenever he tries to harm Ronald, the main problem was that she'd get a ton of backlashes from the government and Ye Fan's backers if she ends up accidentally killing him now, which will eventually make it much harder for her to build and grow her power and most importantly put Ronald in danger.

Of course, even though she was only growing her business and power this time in order to get strong enough to protect Ronald, she knew that she would have to make some sacrifices now if she wanted to offer Ronald the entire world in the far future.

"Nothing else happened in the bar, Sect Master, but Ronald is currently flying over to the capital city today with one of his friends, Gu Changsheng."

"Okay, bring about half of the Sect Members over to Ronald's side and protect him, and bring anyone that tries to harm Ronald in for questioning. If they don't give an adequate answer on why they are targeting Ronald... then kill them. Also keep me updated everyday on how Ronald is doing. You're dismissed." Luna announced in a dull tone.

"Yes, Sect Master." The woman than vanished in front of Luna's eyes.

After being alone in the meeting room once again, Luna couldn't help but sigh in her heart.

Luna really wanted to spend and dedicate most of her time with Ronald now that he was alive and well, but she knew that she had to cultivate more and further grow her empire if she wanted to keep Ronald safe in the future.

Even though Luna had already grown her business and created a small cultivation sect strong enough to rival most of the ten major families including the ones in the capital city in just a span of about 3 weeks, she knew that it still wasn't strong enough to get rid of Ye Fan and all of his backers now...

And even after she manages to grow strong enough and kill Ye Fan, she would still have to worry about all of the cultivators and powerhouses that would eventually pose a threat to both her and Ronald in the far future.

So with all of that in mind, Luna resisted the urge to come and visit the capital city with Ronald for now and left the meeting room in order to find a hidden place for her to secretly cultivate in.

"Welcome to the capital city!" After stepping foot off of the airplane, Gu Changsheng shouted enthusiastically.

"Thanks, it's my first time actually visiting a different city." Ronald pretended to look interested.

"Oh really? Well no worries, even though your family has no influence in this city, I got your back." Gu Changsheng announced with a proud look on his face.

"Haha I appreciate it man." Ronald was honestly glad that he had transmigrated as a villain instead of transmigrating as the protagonist.

Despite the fact that the majority of the people subconsciously hated the villains of this novel world, most of the villains usually gets along with one another very easily.

"No problem, I'm glad that I can be of service to the almighty god of picking up girls. Well anyways, it's already getting late and I'm getting extremely tired from traveling back to the capital city, so let's go back to my family household and recharge our energy." Gu Changsheng couldn't help but rub his eyes while walking over to the limousine that had been waiting at the private airport for a long time.

"Alright, you're the boss here." Ronald then followed Gu Changsheng to the limousine as well.

And after Iris had placed both her and Ronald's luggages in the trunk of a bodyguard's car and got in the limousine as well, the group started to head towards the Gu household.
