New Protagonist?!

While Ronald was currently hiding behind a tree closely observing the highschool boy, the highschool boy had gotten up from the ground and started to walk to the park exit.

On his way to leave the park however, he noticed a girl with a blue-purple ponytailed hair girl with navy blue eyes wearing a Tang Suit training in martial arts with what seemed to be like her grandfather.

He couldn't help but shake his head and look at the two practicing martial arts in disappointment though while he was momentarily observing their martial arts movement though.

Although he wasn't a martial artist practitioner and had never practiced any martial arts technique before, he could instantly tell that the martial arts technique that the two were practicing with were extremely flawed.

Just as he was planning on walking right by the martial artists however...

"Hey you, did you just scoff at us while we were practicing?" The blue-purple poneytailed hair girl blocked his path and folded her arms.

"Nah, I was just thinking about something else, sorry about that." Since the highschool boy didn't want to get into any trouble right now, he politely apologized and started to continued to walk again.

Before he could even step another foot though, the old man who was quietly observing him on the sidelines called out to him.

"Hello young man, from the way you're judging our family's martial arts technique, it seems that you know a little bit of martial arts yourself. My name is Lai Ho, and this is my granddaughter, Lai Meiyun." Lai Ho then saluted with his fist and palm together.

"Name's Ling Feng." Ling Feng spoke in a nonchalant manner and didn't bother showing the same respect back.

The only people that's only worthy of his respect are his master in his previous life and anyone who he trusts dearly.

That's right, Ling Feng is a rebirth and a regressor.

While he was cultivating in his previous life, all of the girls he trusted dearly had ended up betraying him and tried to kill him in order to extract all of his knowledge.

However, what his harem members didn't know was that he had an artifact called 'The Chrono Pearl' which was rumored to have the ability to stop time for a certain amount of time.

The problem with it however was that 'The Chrono Pearl' was only a one time use item and there was only one in the entire immortal realm.

So although Ling Feng didn't know if the rumors were actually true or not, he decided to use it anyways and it seemed like the rumors weren't lying...

Since it did buy him time after all...

But that pearl actually had regressed him all the way back to when he was on earth!

Ling Feng wasn't too mad about it though and was even happy that it had regressed him back to earth.

All of the regrets that have happened in the previous life hasn't happened yet and this time, he can actually change his life around!

But he has to get strong first.

"Ling Feng, I see. May I ask who your teacher is?" Lai Ho asked politely.

"You're mistaken on something. I'm not a martial artist practitioner and I have no teacher. I'm just a cultivator that knows a few things here and there."

"A cultivator? Well I don't know what that is, but since I can tell that you're quite formidable, why don't you and my granddaughter spar with each other and see if you both can learn about a thing or two from each other." Lai Ho waved over to Lai Meiyun.

"Seems like I have to beat the arrogance out of you!" Lai Meiyun got into a fighting pose and waited for Ling Feng to make his first move.

Ling Feng couldn't help but sigh a bit, pick up a piece of paper out of his pocket, and then fling it directly at Lai Meiyun, slightly scratching her cheek.

"..." Both Lai Ho and Lai Meiyun were completely dumbstruck and couldn't help but stare at Ling Feng with admiration.

"I apologize for me and my granddaughter's behavior, Mr. Grandmaster." After gazing at Ling Feng for a little bit longer, Lai Ho slightly bowed his head and saluted Ling Feng.

Never in his 80 years of practicing martial arts has he ever seen a Grandmaster at all.

However, he has heard rumors before about Grandmasters being able to use typical everyday objects like chopsticks in order to easily neutralize their opponents.

And at first, just like everyone else, he thought that those rumors were too far-fetched...

But after just witnessing Ling Feng easily scratch his granddaughter's cheek with just a small piece of paper in his pocket, he realized that the rumors were actually true.

'No wonder why no Martial Artist Masters can become Grandmasters. The gap is just too wide.' Lai Ho thought to himself while staring at Ling Feng.

"Why are you calling me Mr. Grandmaster? It feels too awkward." Ling Feng couldn't help but feel disgusted hearing someone older than him... or at least someone physically older than him call him a Mr.

"Because you are a Martial Artist Grandmaster, so I believe that I should show you a sign of respect."

"Hmm, can you explain to me all about the martial arts community then?" Ling Feng couldn't help but ask.

"..." Lai Ho couldn't help but look at Ling Feng with a slightly doubtful look on his face.

Did Ling Feng really not know that he was as strong as a Grandmaster or something like that?

But even if he's not as strong as a Grandmaster, he's at least up to par with one.

So after thinking about it for a bit, Lai Ho decided to explain to Ling Feng everything he knew about the martial arts community.

"... And that's all I know, if you don't mind, may I perhaps call you Mr. Ling?" Lai Ho asked in a cautious tone.

"Sure, I don't mind."

"Great!" Lai Ho couldn't help but start to laugh.

He wonder what all of his friends will think of him after hearing that he had gotten close to a Grandmaster.

They probably wouldn't believe him at all!

Ronald, who was still secretly hiding behind the tree was completely stunned.

'The hell?'

'Is this a new protagonist or something?'

'Is Ye Fan not the protagonist of this world anymore?'

'I bet that this 'new protagonist' rebirthed or some bullshit like that.'

'And let me guess, this old man probably has an extremely bad mental illness as well and is about to cough in front of this Ling Feng guy or whatever his stupid name is.'

Just as Ronald was complaining in his head however...

*Cough cough* Lai Ho couldn't help but start to cough.

'...'

'I quit being the villain.'

'Time to spend the rest of my 7 years in this novel balling my eyes out.'
