I Hate This Novel World

It has been about a day ever since the kidnapping incident, and Ronald was currently laying on his bed contemplating about his life right now.

At this point Ronald knew for a certain that the heroines actually love him, but what he didn't actually understand was why?

Why does the heroines love him so much?

Has he ever done something in his entire life before that deserved the heroine's love and affection?

Or was just being a brainless rich second generation the new meta of picking up girls nowadays?

Even though every man would be happy knowing that some extremely beautiful girls have fallen in love with them, Ronald wasn't.

Why?

'Because I don't belong in this novel world.'

Ronald held no sentimental value to this world at all.

Why would he anyways?

He has spent 7 entire years in this world getting face slapped left and right by people at least a couple of times almost every week.

When he first got transmigrated into this novel world by the system, for the first couple of months, Ronald was extremely excited and told himself that he was going to completely live out his life in this world to the fullest before going back to earth.

However, as the years had slowly passed by, he slowly started hating this world more and more.

He hated the fact that he kept getting face slapped by both the heroines and protagonist.

He hated the fact that everywhere he went, he was getting constantly made fun of by almost everyone he's met.

Ronald was so used to getting completely face slapped and getting constantly made fun of to the point where they didn't even faze him anymore.

And it wasn't that Ronald didn't try to oppose the system back in his previous life.

No, he has actually tried countless times to retaliate against the system to try and break free from the shackles of the systems.

However, no matter what he tried to do, the system had always gotten the best of him in the end.

As for the punishments the system gave to him whenever he tried to go against the system?

Ronald has struggled in this novel world so much that he has completely given up on this stupid world.

To be honest, if Ronald didn't really want to go back to earth that badly, he would've probably already destroyed this entire novel world before Ye Fan could even finish his adventures.

Maybe if Ronald was transmigrated as the protagonist instead, then maybe he would've thought differently about this shitty novel world.

But despite the fact that Ronald absolutely hated everyone and everything in this novel world, there was actually one thing that he didn't hate in this world.

*Tap tap* Someone was knocking on Ronald's door.

"Who is it?" Even though Ronald nonchalantly said so, he couldn't help but complain in his heart.

Why did someone knock on his door at the worst timing possible?

He was just having a whole monologue about his past life inside of his head!

"Young Master, It's me, Iris. Can I come in?" Iris said in a respectful tone.

"Sure."

"Good morning Young Master, I'm sorry for disturbing you this early in the morning, but there's someone waiting for you outside of the front gates." Iris bowed her head and couldn't help but glance at Ronald's face a few times.

"Huh? Who is it?" Ronald was quite surprised that someone had paid him a visit this early in the morning.

He knew that he had no friends this early on the novel besides Gu Changsheng, but he was still currently sitting in jail right now and doesn't get out until tomorrow morning.

But after thinking about it for a bit, Ronald assumed that Luna had decided to come visit him again just like she did back at the auction house plot.

At this point he didn't even care if the heroine's personality has completely changed, all he cared now was to be able to complete the future plots.

And it seemed like that was actually somewhat doable for him considering that when he had talked to the system last night, apparently his jail plot was actually considered complete.

Even though Ronald didn't know how it was considered completed, he's not complaining about it anyways.

"Princess Sophia came over to visit, Young Master."

"Okay tell the gatekeeper to let Lun- wait what?" Ronald couldn't believe what he had just heard.

The Princess of the Leighton family actually came over to visit him?

But how come?

Ronald knew that the Princess loved him to a certain extent, but that didn't meant that she could just walk all willy-nilly over to his household.

And not only that, but how did she even manage to find out where he lived within a day?

When Ronald first told her his first and last name at the time, he assumed that Princess Sophia was going to use it in order to testify against him.

However clearly Jiang Yixin did something behind the scenes so that he wasn't going to be held accountable for the kidnapping of Princess Sophia.

But now that he's not being held accountable for kidnapping Princess Sophia, whatever information he has given to the Princess has came back to bite him in the ass!

Well on the bright side of things, at least Princess Sophia wasn't going to live with him anyways.

After all, she's still the Princess of the Leighton family.

So even if she wanted to live with him anyways, she couldn't.

And with that in mind, Ronald headed downstairs with Iris with an ease of mind.

'Now that I think about it, couldn't I have just bailed out Gu Changsheng when I had gotten bailed out as well?'

'Oh well he probably didn't even care about it anyways.'
