"Uhh, what are you doing?" Ronald couldn't help but ask Lin Minyi with a confused and weird look on his face when he saw how ecstatic she had seemed to look with her eyes closed.

"..." Upon hearing the sound of Ronald's voice vibrate through her ears, she couldn't help but slowly start to open her eyes in an extremely confused manner.

How was she still alive right now?

Wasn't Ronald suppose to put her out of her misery?

No, more importantly, why couldn't she feel any sort of pain at all?

With the terrible condition that her body was currently in, she was suppose to be agonizing in overwhelming amounts of pain.

But not only did she not feel any sort of discomfort whatsoever, but she could actually... feel her body?

"Well, I'll just wait for you outside or something while you finish doing your business... or whatever the hell it was that made you that ecstatic." Ronald said in a weirded out tone and then left the room in order to let Lin Minyi have her fun.

After watching Ronald leave the room with a strange look on his face, Lin Minyi slowly started to move her hands, and she couldn't help but get extremely shocked.

Not only did she regain the ability to feel and move her entire body again, but her hands seemed to look quite normal and definitely didn't have the greenish colors that they once had after she had contracted her disease.

So she slowly moved her hand to touch her throat and then started to talk.

"T-testing testing... no way..." Lin Minyi was truly taken aback.

Even though her larynx was suppose to be completely decayed by now, the fact that she was able to talk right now clearly meant that her larynx had somehow got restored back to its working condition again.

'Then doesn't that mean...'

Lin Minyi quickly got off of the wheelchair she had been affixed onto for 5 years, removed the eyepatch, and then fixated her eyes towards the steel parts of the wheelchair.

There, a beautiful and slightly more mature woman with long grey hair and grey eyes could be seen in the reflection.

That's right, that woman was none other than herself.

But instead of having the appearance of a walking corpse, she actually looked like herself from 5 years ago before she had contracted that disease.

But she couldn't understand how Ronald was able to completely restore her entire body and organs back to good health.

Sure, there might be pills out there that are able to refine and reconstruct bones, purify the body, increase one's cultivation level, change someone's appearances, enhance a human soul, prolong ones life, and much more, but she has never heard of one that would be able to heal completely a powerful cultivator's body instantly back to full health, at least not in the way that Ronald had managed to do so.

And that was also why she had been completely hopeless about even staying alive to begin with.

But clearly she was completely wrong, as what she had thought was impossible to do happened right in her eyes.

And to be honest, she was extremely terrified.

Even though she was aware that there are still so much things in this world that she wasn't aware about, she didn't think that she'd ever meet someone who seemed so shrouded with mysteries in this life.

'So why did he decide to cure me then?'

To be honest, she didn't buy the story about the deal Ronald had with her younger sister at all.

After all, if it was someone that even her sister could deal with, then why couldn't he just deal with them himself?

Just because of some circumstances that prevented him from doing so?

Utter bullshit.

The only logical explaination that she could think of as to why Ronald had made a deal with her younger sister, assuming that he had actually made a deal with her, was because he wanted her younger sister to be his woman.

Her younger sister was a natural beauty that nobody could resists after all.

Besides, she's heard the stories about the infamous Ronald of the Kuangge family.

Anyhow, Lin Minyi didn't want to think about it any further for now, since all she wanted to do now was finally meet her sister once again.

So after staring at her reflection at the wheelchair one more time and taking a deep breath, she swung the iron doors open.

"Yo, finally done with whatever it was you were doing?" Ronald, who had been leaning against the walls next to the doors, asked.

"..." Although Lin Minyi heard what Ronald said, she didn't bother replying back to him at all but just stared at him with an emotionless look on her face.

Although he could technically be considered as her savior, she had no plans on becoming buddy-buddy with Ronald at all.

"Woah, how cold." Even though Ronald didn't mind Lin Minyi's cold reponse to him, and even somewhat endorsed it since he never had any favorable impressions of her to begin with, he still stated in a mocking tone.

Afterwards, Ronald started to leisurely walk back torwards the enterance where he had came from while Lin Minyi silently followed right behind him.

After silently walking through the room that had a thousand doors in it, the moment Ronald had opened the iron door that lead back to the room where the humans trapped in glass was at, Lin Minyi immediately dashed right pass him and started punching each of the glass cells one by one in order to break them while telling each and every person a escape tunnel that they could secretly escape to over at the room with a thousand doors.

"You know if you keep this up, then sooner or later the soldiers in this facility are going to catch up t-" Before Ronald could fully finish his sentence however...

"WHY DIDN'T YOU TRY TO SAVE THEM BEFORE COMING TO ME?" Lin Minyi shouted at Ronald while continuing to make her way towards each glass cell and breaking them.

"Why? It's beca-"

"IT'S BECAUSE YOU DON'T SEE THEM AS HUMAN BEINGS, BUT I DO! NOW SHUT UP AND LET ME SAVE THEM MYSELF! DON'T EVEN BOTHER HELPING!" Lin Minyi shrieked out and then disappeared from Ronald's sight in order to save the rest of the people trapped in the glass cages.

"..." Ronald couldn't help but blankly stare at the direction that Lin Minyi had disappeared off to.

'Is that so?'

'...'

Nevertheless, since Lin Minyi had told him not to help out, Ronald won't bother to help out then.

So with that in mind, Ronald sat down and leaned his back against the wall that was next to the iron door and decided to take a nap for a bit.

After all, with Lin Minyi's current pace, it won't be for a while until she breaks all of the glass cells with her bare hands.

Just while Ronald had his eyes closed however...

"Hey mister..."

"Uhm... I have a question... if you don't mind me asking."

"How are you able to stay sane?"
